Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic staff and service. Great menu. Amazing coffee, Fresh home made goodness. I absolutely recommend them! I loved everything about it. I will be going back there myself in the near future to try some other dishes.

The restaurant makes fresh pastries everyday that are delicious 😋. The strawberry 🍓 tart, Tiramisu cake, orange 🍊 almond cake slice and latte taste so good 😋

I never want to see Richmond Hill because of this place. Ive spent so much money over a period of 3 days trying everything I can get my eyes on.I dont like sweet things, but daammmnn Vovo Telos pastries are to die for.

Had a chicken and mushroom pie, the filling was good but the pastry was hard. R35 each very expensive may have been yesterdays pies.

This cute little home away from home is amazing. Their waiters are all very nice and the food is incredible. From the vietnamese macchiato with 2 shots of espresso and caramel to their breakfast waffle everything was made to perfection! The portions are super big so you definitely get value for your money. If youre looking for something cold to drink they have these frostie things which is very nice. Its a lovely little family coffee shop.

Passing through PE for the morning and stopped in for breakfast.They have a large menu filled with fresh breads and a take away counter. The resturant is in an old house and has a really amazing charm and the staff is friendly and professional.I enjoyed two poached eggs and ham on a fresh croissant. It was delicious!

My husband and I were in search of a quick sit down breakfast and came across Vovo Telo.Cosy little restaurant and bakery with limited seating.Service was good however the food was very bland. Banting cheesecake was delish.

Situated in the quiet Richmond Hill PE. A lovely restaurant to get unique meals and their bakes is absolutely devine. Friendly staff and excellent service. A must visit when you in Port Elizabeth .

Went there yesterday for the best ever coffee. Staff great, excellent service. Scrambled egg with smoked trout is amazing.However, the place needs a serious face lift and spring lean.

As a vovotelo fan from JHB this was a must while in PE and it did not disappoint. Fresh bread, good coffee, peaceful atmosphere and great staff.

There was room for improved customer service...the cashier seemed to be more concerned joking with here colleagues than focusing on the order...coffee was amazing...pastries looked beautiful...

Such good food, so easy to overeat.

One of the best brunches we had on our 3 week trip in SA. Value for money and generous portions. Service was great as well. Try to get a seat outside on a nice day.

If you want fresh baked bread, cakes, muffin etc, that tastes really good you will get it at Vovo Telo.Its still my favorite👍🏾 restaurant for breakfast 😋. I really like their Sarmu pastrami on rye sandwich and Croissant 🥐.

I have been to the Vovo Telo in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, so had high expectations, well I was not let down!. Great friendly service, love the warmth of the staff. The coffee is tops. I had a incredible flat white. My son slurped down his chocolate milkshake in a flash, it was so good! I had a scone, my wife a strawberry tart and my son a waffle. Well it was exceptional! Fresh and tasty. A definite winner.

I love this restaurant/ bakery, not only is the food fresh and yummy! They really make an effort to use sustainable options and have since before the no straws movement. The atmosphere is also lovely to just have a cup of coffee or have a delicious meal

Absolutely love their Thursday cake special, their cakes and pastries are delicious. Their tiny lemon meringues are to die for (although too small). Their coffee is very good. Their breakfasts are lovely too. Well priced menu. Generally good service.

Another one of my favourite places in Port Elizabeth. This venue is the original restaurant which makes it extra special! I love the friendly staff and their breakfasts are amazing. My favourite is the breakfast waffle 👏🏼 with a black americano - recipe for success. Their pastries are also NEXT LEVEL! Baked fresh each day, you’re never disappointed. I highly encourage you to visit this place.

The best burger in Port Elizabeth can be found here!Vovo Telo has always satisfied! Its situated in a lovely spot in Richmond Hill, tables are set out beautifully and the atmosphere is amazing. Sit outside on the patio in Summer or Inside during winter 👌The only downside is their ridiculous closing times!

This coffee house/ diner is certainly a must see when in the area. Whats offered here is good food, good beverages and even better service. Personally what i believe stood out was the freshness of the food. Well done Vovo Telo!

Came here one morning and got a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. It looks to be in a converted home and was a very quaint and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and was a great place to sit with a cup of coffee and spend a lazy morning.

The food was great. A little pricy, not to much client service happening. The owners are obviously catering for a specific market. The entrance has limited space. When entering the restaurant you have to fight your way through the waiters. I sat outside as there was no space inside. Very windy and the tables are extremely small, as if it was an after thought. As far as the waiter was concerned, very nice chap just ont very clued up when it comes to the menu. Not completely a negative visit. Might go back.

We had the red velvet and one of their cheesecakes. Amazing treats! Big portions, decadent to the eyes, that have that homemade taste. Loved it!

Visited for a lunch with my husband.His meal arrived and it wasn’t his order, it was sent back to the kitchen and then replaced.Then my meal arrived. It wasn’t the dish that I ordered. It was sent back and then replaced with the correct dish, a roasted chick pea salad. The kitchen had obviously rushed to throw something together and it was not as promised, not a roasted chick pea salad as the chick peas weren’t roasted! That was supposed to be the main feature of the dish.At this point I asked to see the manager. She was apparently coming but after a 15 minute wait we gave up and left..I am really disappointed with the lack of management care in this restaurant.

Ive been dreaming about the takeaway cheese and ham sandwich I had more than two weeks ago. Even a colleague who shared it with me said today how yummy it was. Simple, but sooo yummy!

A hidden gem in a charmingly restored neighbourhood in Port Elizabeth Open at daybreak with splendid coffee, awesome artisan bread and pastries baked freshly on the premises. The breakfasts are hearty and huge and one can hardly find a table between the local patrons. A definite must.

I lived in SA for a year back in 2009 and I’m still dreaming about Vovo Telo. The quaint atmosphere to the simple baguette with cheese and jam is all absolutely perfect! The pizza was also out of this world. This is a true gem in PE. I wish for the day they open one in the States, otherwise I’ll have to go back to visit. 😊

Beautiful place with variety of pastries. We had breakfast. My eggs bernedict was delicious an the coffee was good. Would not take kids but nice for small meetups quick breakfasts or lunches.

Good coffee. The order arrived quickly. The Banting bread was awful - too salty. Complained, they said they wouldnt charge me for it, but it was put on the bill. Im not sure this incident would put me off from going again. The rest of the meal was fine. This is just my experience - not great.
