I dont normally complain but today was one of the worst experiences ive ever had in any restaurant....We frequent this spur and even the ladies in the kids play area know my daughter but the food and quality of service was unreal. As soon as we arrived there was a probem with the seating arrangement. The table was sticky and dirty. The waitress seemed flustered, drinks were forgotten, the foodwas cold. We recieved our food before we even had cutlery. We had to ask for sauces and salad dressings which when we recieved the bottles were empty and were told sorry all the bottles are empty. I didnt even eat my food just took it home paid and left. We were a table of 5. Very disappointed. The price asked for the buffallo wings is ridiculous compared to size .... plus my son had a hair in his veggies

Normally I am not to disappointed in Spur, but I doubt I would be returning to this one.. Drinks were not a problem, we waited forever to get our food, just for the baked patato to be burned, the onion rings were burned so bad as well I had to ask for new ones.. The portuguese steak was so chewy she only had a few bites and took the rest home... One thing that I couldnt fault was my Texan blaze burger...What a disappointment.

Can you honestly tell me that this is the regular size of what you pass off as Chicken wings and that you charge a fair price for them?

Went there today... The food was Devine the best Ive had in a long time from spur... The ribs were juicy and flavorful and the spicy Buffalo wings sauce were perfection.. Shout out to the chef today

I have been going to spur for years, sadly the experience I had with this one is by far the worst I have ever encountered. The service was poor and the food was even more horrific. What made it worso was the treatment we got from the employees.

We were a Baywest Spur todayWe placed an order for 2 half chicken meals for R89 each. Our order was incorrect as we excepted periperi but we were served barbecue only because we were not asked what flavour we wanted. So we asked that the chicken be changed to peri peri and server took the same chicken and dipped it in the peri peri sauce then placed it in the microwave which resulted in the chicken being dry and inedible to a point where we requested for a doggie bag because the meal was that terrible the breast was so dry to the point that is was crumbling and tasted saw dust.

The best Spur experience we (visiting from Pretoria) have had in years. The covid regulations are followed to the T, better than most places, the waitress (Mpumie) was very well spoken, professional, friendly and helpful, the food was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. I wish this could be the experience at every Spur across SA.

VERY bad experience!!! Last night myself and my family went to spur and truly I dont think we will ever go there again. 1st of all there was absolutely no kiddies supervision, 2nd our dirty glasses was the whole table full, 3rd my husbands baked potato was burne, his steak was over cooked and tough. Normally when we go out I dont finish all of my food so my husband takes it to work the next day. I felt so ashamed when he looked at my plate and said Im never coming back to this place again.I truly hope that you guys will up your game and deliver better service

Your Mr Delivery system is *NEVER* online. And when it is on and food is ordered the Food is way below the standards of other Spurs in Port Elizabeth. I really like Spurs food but I honestly cannot recommend Baywest Spur.

The Biloxi Spur is a good choice for a family meal. The quality of the dishes served, still remain good value, which is what attracts their regular clientele. The little ones had a wonderful time in the supervised play area. Though our waitress was friendly, I found the service a little lacking. After our main course was finished and the dishes cleared, we didnt see our waitress again. We would very easily have ordered another course but since our waitress abandoned us, we chose to call it a night. Nonetheless, at least they are able to operate during loadshedding and therefore, I rate them 3 stars!

Unfortunately today was a disappointing visit for us to the Spur. We were taken to a table around the corner of the play area and that is where it ended. Sat for 30min with absolutely no service, even when I got up to go and ask where our waiter was, still no service! Thats when we got up and left. Not to sure if we will be back again!

We told the waiter to give us a few minutes to decide and that was the last we saw of him. The other waiters simply walked by our table without a word they just looked at me stretching my neck out looking for our waiter. The waiter only appeared when we stood up to leave. This is my first bad experience but I hardly eat at this particular spur. Horrible service.I was invited back to spur and the service was great. I will check in at and see if the service is consistent, as this was not a normal visit.I will change my rating based on my last visit.

If I could rate them a 0 I would , worst spur visited and the manager who was on duty on Sunday afternoon at 13h00 should not have that title as the service was very unprofessional and the fact that she argued with another client who found something (plastic) in her food was unbelievable, telling her it must have been something from her chicken schnitzel, fact of the matter when the dish was served no impurities should have been there. The service we received was shocking, would not recommend this spur to anyone. Have not been to a spur in a very long time and thought we would try them again, not likely again after this.

Typical Spur restaurant, but the location is good. We had a funny moment when our food wad served on a Panarottis plate 🤣

Great tasting food at a high price. Spur used to be affordable but its gotten very expensive of late. The food really is good though and Ive NEVER had to return a plate of food because the quality or taste was lacking... the food is always good and I always get service with a smile.

Great Spur restaurant.

This is a great Spur to visit, especially if you have children. There is a nice play area and the food is great. This Spur is inside Baywest Mall, close to a game centre for kids, the cinemas and many other shops. Great location, great food.

We had the worst breakfast experience at this spur and it was not the first time. Now that Little Thunder Spur closed we decided to go to the Baywest branch, to celebrate a birthday. We were three people and yet we waited half an hour before being asked what we would like to drink. After another 20 minutes of waiting the wrong drinks came. We waited another 10 minutes before receiving the right drinks (sparkling water isnt that hard to remember). After ordering our breakfast we waited another half hour before hour food arrived cold, without toast. I had to go find a waitress just to ask for toast. 10 minutes later we received the toast and started eating. In all honesty, we were not happy clients and this wasnt the first time we experienced bad service at this spur. Hopefully service improves in the future. The manager did apologize, which was appreciated.

I feel like customer service is everything. I phoned trying to place a reservation for tonight, upon phoning I asked how late they closed, the lady said 8, i started replying saying thank you, and then she ended the call before I could even finish saying thank you, i wanted to say is it possible that i could place a reservation for tonight but didnt get the chance, i phoned back instantly to confront the rude person but no one knew who had just spoken to me

Spur has ok meat but its decor theme, price, and what you get for your money leaves one wanting.

So today the 25th of May, Me and my hubby and friend visited this Spur.And we were serviced by the guy name Ruben. He is the best. Best customer service and kept on checking on us and so forth.Every time I visit the place I will ask for him shame. He deserves a wuuuuuuusheeeeeem

I understand that Spur is a steak ranch franchise, but is it not also a family restaurant? I.e. Should cater for the whe family? Im highly disappointed that you dont allow substitutes. There is only 1 vegetarian option on the breakfast menu which isnt a problem but I dont agree that I have to pay the full price when I ask to omit the bacon. My daughter enjoys the play facilities, its the only reason I go.

Spur closes at 2100 according to their add Got there at 2010 after our vehicle broke down on the way to KZN and asked to order something small but was told no they are closing already. If you close at 2000 dont advertise 2100.

Service was good, food tasted great, just the rib portion looked very small and misleading and not appeared like 400g. Did not feel the value for money spend.

Its a cool place to hang around and they serve delicious meals,ohh their oreo cream chesse tart so delicious

I have Never been so disappointed with a restaurant before.Today (9th August) went to the Biloxi Spur in Bay west with friends to celebrate a birthday. The service that we got was so poor that you could almost say what service. Firstly took 30 mins to get the majority of our drinks we ordered, I had to wait an additional 10 mins to get my coffee. Then a further wait to get our food order. Again only 2 breakfasts from and order of 7 arrived... After a wait of 10 mins I had to go to the manager to complain.... By the time the rest of the order arrived (which was incorrect in a few parts) the first meal was cool.. To cut a long story short, we eventually left without eating, what a way to celebrate a birthday breakfast with friends... This place does not deserve to be a Spur. This is now the second time that we have had shocking service.... There wont be a third... And i will tell everyone that i know about the poor service and attention that we received @BiloxiSpur. #neveragain #whatservice

Steak not so good and I would suggest they serve it on a warm plate because the colder the food got the more you needed a hammer for the steak

Set in a busy mall gives it a pleasant vibe and atmosphere. Staff are good as the food. The breakfast is perfect.

Friendly staff. Generous portions. Definitely a better quality meal than Ive had at other PE Spurs. Abundant seating is a bonus too.

K so I cant do another post on FB so this will do, i was at the spur this late afternoon and requested Tinus 2 serve me again, once again what a guy he is an amazing person very professional and always on the T, I told Tinus Im in a mood for a starter, he suggested something and I told him 2 suprise me, he came back with crumb mushrooms topped with bacon and cheese, 1st of all very good up selling 2nd of all it was amazing, tast was great, u guys have a keeper there, u guys have won me at that spur THANK YOU TINUS.

It must be the most gross spur burger Ive ever had!!! The onion rings looked like pieces of leftovers from someone elses plate. The chips allso looked like leftovers. Looked like somebody chewed a chip and spit it out and some of chips were cut as if it was leftovers from someone else. The beef patty was terribly dry. Hardly any basting sauce!!! The trimmings was not up to standard either. I regretted my lunch there yesterday. Money down the drain!

2 out of the 6 meals we ordered took so long to arrive at our table that everyone else was basically done eating. When they finally arrived, we were so upset that we could barely eat. Lack of communication ruined our day out. Ill never go back.

Had one worst experience saturday night 30th July. The moment i got there waitress brought me water when I had ordered white grape juice as if that wasnt enough she brought us a small portion of buffalo wings when we asked for platter to share, I usually get the best service but now with the new staff nope something got to be done or you will lose a whole lot of customers
