What a charming great atmosphere place to eat , with live music. We ordered 3 double meals and got the Entertainer 2 for 1 deals. We ordered pastas and pizzas. The waiters and manager were very friendly and accommodating. We really had a great Sunday afternoon there.

A quick stop at Vinis restaurant Bedfordview for a nibble and some takeaways.There werent many people but hoping it picks up. Got served by Fortune (who is the longest standing waiter there if I am not mistaken) and then Agrippa who looked after us. Tried the Crispy fried ravioli stuffed with beef mince & baked with mozzarella cheese and served with a chili tomato dipping sauce and the Crispy Prawn Pockets - 3 Mini pita pockets filled with deep fried prawn, smashed avocado & Ritz sauce. For takeaways we had the Crumbed Mushrooms, some Peri Peri livers, the Lamb Masala Calzone, and Focaccia 🍕Loved the ravioli could have eaten a bigger bowl with lots more of the dipping sauce 😋. A beautiful, home-style restaurant with generous portions of delicious food. Best pizza I’ve had! Friendly, professional staff and proper hygiene measures (temperature checks, sanitiser at the tables etc). Limited parking, however.

I decided to go here for seafood following reading the reviews.Was disappointed.Food was bland and despite adding loads of garlic, it still never improved the baseline flavour.Quality is poor and the price for said food is overpriced.Think it was the luck of the draw as it didnt help we had a very irritating waiter.He kept interrupting our conversation and trying to be humorous but ended up being inappropriate.For example, our drinks were just halfway and he interrupted us (again for the umpteenth time) to ask if he could get us more drinks. It all felt forced and very annoying. He just never stopped.Strange that he never questioned my barely eaten main course, which Id stopped eating because of the blandness and it didnt taste fresh. He just asked if Id like a takeaway which I declined.We asked for the bill from another waiter who was gracious and helpful.Points for the atmosphere which is calming and a nice setup.

I am in love with Vinis. Hospitality is on another level. Never have I ever laughed so hard with waiters and enjoyed their company as much as I did today. Thank you for amazing ribs, a sizeable portion at that. Value for money!

Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere.Prawn au gratin was divine as a starter. Main course was Baked hake, fresh and very tasty. Chocolate mouse with quality Italian ice-cream was perfect to round off a lovely meal. Highly recommended 👌

Vinis is always a pleasant experience. Quick and efficient customer service. The food tastes amazing, and you almost guaranteed to take some of your food away cause theres no way you can finish the portions.

We stopped over for a quick pizza, but ended up with the rib special and stayed the evening. Honestly some of the best ribs Ive had in a long time. Friendly and attentive staff and a very charming relaxed atmosphere. Definitely going back for pizza.

It was my second time being here and I must say,first experience was amazing.I cant say the same about the second time, the guy who was serving us seemed less interested as a result the service was horrible .Firstly, we were not offered starters, when it was time for takeaways, the guy just dropped the boxes on the table for us to do everything, not refilling our drinks even after we asked him to and still didnt offer us dessert ontop of that.He was young but no energy at all,whereas before,the older guy that served us was excellent and he knew what he was doing.Please train your your younger guys..

Had a great experience here. Vinis extended their birthday celebrations with an impossible-to-beat 200g steak for R27.00. Sides needed to be ordered separately, but at extremely affordable prices. A whole meal was under R40. 00 and it was something spectacular! Their regular menu fits in with standard prices, but their specials are hard to beat. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. I do need to mention that the drinks prices are on the steep side. This did not detract from the overall experience though. Cant wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing steak with extremely generous portions. Our waiter was attentive and caring, his recommendations were on point. Definitely recommend the Avo and Halloumi salad and the Strawberry Milkshake (I only got a photo of the milkshake because all the food was too good for a stop and snap).

Put some more focus back into the service, i.e. the waiting service could be improved. The food is excellent and the type of place you would love to turn into one of your regular hangouts. Havent been in a while, thank you Covid, but will be back....dinner was fantastic from the prawns au gratin, so fresh, to the pizza oven baked hake and substantial greek salad...for me....3 other happy diners, too!....brought our own bottle of red, corkage reasonable....no room for dessert...Thanks!

Yet another awesome evening at Vinis!The ribs fell of the bone and the beers were ice cold. The cocktails are served in jam jars and are delicious, or so my wife tells me.

That goes for the food and the service from Billy and the entire team.We decided to book for the 3 course lunch for Mothers day and we were definitely impressed with the food, ambiance and quality. We left feeling happy with tummies full and doggies bags ( obviously). On arrival my mom thought we had brought her to another dodgy restaurant ( as I always do) but to her surprised she loved every minute. We were welcomed with Champagne and the ladies were given a cute packet of Macarons.We had starter platter Canapés with Caprese Salad, Mini chicken livers in rolls, Kebabs, Melon wrapped with cold meats, Butternut soup, and Garlic and herb Focacia. We polished off everything.For mains we could select from a variety of options. I picked the ribs.... I couldnt pass that up. The rest of the family took the Lamb Shanks, the Peri Chicken and the Bobotie. There was also pasta, prawns, chops, hake. They really have a fantastic variety.The food was delicious, only my ribs were slightly dry.If that wasnt enough to stuff us up, we had to have takeaways as we still wanted dessert.We were all given the trio of desserts beautifully presented ~ Cheesecake, a piece of Chocolate Cake and a Mini Pavlova. Pavlova was one of the best Ive had this year hands down.They also do some random specials during the week so keep an eye on their social media.I would happily recommend them, and our waiter Fortune was so sweet and humorous and made my moms day. The pizza we had was the itsa masta pizza. It comes with 5 toppings of your choice. I had the bacon, avo, feta with grilled chicken breast strips and pepperdews. My friend had bacon, avo, feta, pepperoni and pineapple. Absolutely divine!! Very comfy spot. Very romantic and secluded tables. Waiters are friendly and attentive.I love Vinis

Waiter was short and seemed to not want to be there,really didnt fell welcome. However will give it another try because Kirsty, the manager was professional and very courteous. Hope to change this review then.

Really good food and amazing service. I can highly recommend the eisbein. I personally prefer the atmosphere outside more than the atmosphere indoors. The waiter messed up the special of the day and told us the wrong thing was the special and basically points you to the menu when you ask him what it consists of which isnt great, but overall still better service than most other restaurants.
