Excellent stay. Beds were very comfy. Room spacious. Very comfortable shower and bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Fireplace was very cozy. The owner made sure everything was perfectly. Highly recommended!

This has to be the most Beautiful place in Franschhoek to stay. everything was perfect. rooms are very Spacious. all with en suite bathrooms. outside area is great to sit and enjoy. will be back a hundred times over.

Our anniversary weekend stay at Petit & Grande Plaisir was a wonderful experience. A gorgeous cottage, a warm and cosy fireplace, with a complimentary bottle of wine and snow on the mountains, was just what the doctor ordered. Thank you for your hospitality Marlicia :-)

As a group consisting of family and friends we decided to visit Franschhoek and to explore the beautiful valley. We came across this absolutely amazing establishment that immediately felt like home away from home. Petit & Grande Plaisir Luxury accommodation lives up to it’s name. Everything about this house was amazing! It offered us way more than we expected and we wish to have stayed much longer then just a weekend. Petit & Grande Plaisir offers pure luxury, great entertainment areas, snuggles in front of the fireplace whilst enjoying good company as well as a magnificent garden where we’ve enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch. We can’t stop raving about this Gem and we will be back really soon. Thank you to the gracious host Marlicia who has made our stay so memorable. Fantastic place to unwind for a short holiday or just a getaway for a short while,very tranquil and quiet its highly recommended place in beautiful Franschhoek.I love the old school charming the place and I love attention to detail of the place bedrooms is very spacious with lovely ensuite bathrooms which in itself is very spacious too.If you want too relax in Franschhoek Grande Plaisir is the place to be.Me and my family had a beautiful time there and wonderful family memories were made there. Franschhoek is a quaint little town with quite a few activities … we enjoyed the local weekend market, plum picking and frozen yoghurt place. Marlicia was a friendly host and I appreciated the ladies tidying up as we sometimes had to leave for activities in a hurry but came back to beds made and dishes washed. Grande Plaisir and the Protea cottage were lovely, comfortable and very spacious and Marlicia accommodated our slightly larger group. I enjoyed the privacy of the pool and the beautiful gardens, so peaceful just to sit and relax in each morning. Kitchen, bathroom etc had all the necessary appliances and more. Just wish we had booked for a couple more days. Will definitely recommend the place.

Beautiful outdoor space, perfectly positioned and tremendously comfortable. Crisp linen, generous and delicious home-made and home-brewed specialties in the fridge, well equipped kitchen. We will be back with the family next time.

This was our third trip to Franschhoek and our third consecutive stay with Marlicia. As always she proved to be a fantastic hostess. This was our first time staying in Grande Plaisir (the first two visits were in Petite Plaisir - also lovely), as we were bringing the children for the first time. The place was spotless and the private courtyard and pool were a welcome respite after long days out exploring the region. Highly, highly recommend this place.

We originally booked for one night at the Grande Plaisir but loved both the house (and gardens) and our host so much, that we extended our stay within a couple of hours! A big thank you to Marlicia for being so accommodating, treating us to a beautiful, well-kept, spacious house and for pleasing our eyes with that garden!Well be back...

This place is an absolute treasure. We were a group of 6 adults and stayed here comfortably. It has the convenience of being close to the main street yet still having that country feel. Truely memorable.
