Stayed at Pear cottage for 2 nights. Its tastefully finished, well equipped and has a wonderful fireplace for those cold cosy evenings when theres snow on some of the surrounding peaks. Mountain and mirror-like dam views are in abundance and theres almost no noise (the odd Harley in the distance being the exception) to interrupt the serenity despite being less than 10min walk from the town main street. Theres also no shortage of friendly canine company to keep your kids entertained. Highly recommended.

If you are planning a trip to Franschoek, do yourself a favour and book a stay at their Lake House. The views are spectacular and if this isnt enough, the house itself has all the comforts of home that makes you want to stay longer. A beautiful peaceful environment to create wonderful memories with your loved ones.

This place is absolutely the crown king of selfcatering accommodation in Franschhoek! The views of the mountains just goes on and on and on!!! Every late afternoon were on the patio watching a nature video as the sun sets behind the mountains! Absolutely breathtaking!!Christell and Essie, the 2 ladies that we have been in contact with handles everything so professionally, helpful and friendly! We will be back!!!

Beautiful and tranquil setting, ideal if you need outdoor space and fresh air. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious, clean and very well equipped.

Nice Cottages but farm has no front gate or security like burglar proofing, one feels quite exposed.

We had a lovely stay here a few weeks ago. Beautiful spot with panoramic views of the mountains and surrounded by vineyards. Felt very safe and kids loved the friendly dogs. Close to town too. A great spot.

Lovely location, clean well appointed cottages. Only downside, a Weber not a normal braai so bring charcoal.

Had an incredible two night stay at this awesome place. Perfect if you plan on doing the wine tram. Within walking distance of Franshoek high street its location is a bug draw. We stayed in goose cottage and it was extremely clean and well stocked with a big bag of logs. Just amazing. I also loved the many many big dogs they have on the farm. Will definitely visit again. Cant recommend this place enough.

Spent a special birthday weekend in Pear Cottage. Loved the fact that it was geared for winter: lovely fire, heaters and electric blankets. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need if self-catering. And their wine is good too.
