Wonderful spot, wonderful food, wonderful people! I love the feeling of going to a family owned restaurant, feeling so welcomed and cared for! I dont know of many Durban restaurants that have been around longer, sticking around means doing the main things well and making delicious food is the only main thing. Well definitely be back!

Quaint little corner restaurant on Windermere. I loved that it seated a cosy 25 patrons at most. This allowed the waiters and chefs to provide us a much more relaxed and intimate service. This restaurant, formerly a corner cafe, has been serving delicious Greek cuisine for 16 years and it doesnt seem like its going to stop anytime soon. Blue and white Greek decor adorned the small space. It felt like we were dining in Athens or Thessaloniki. My table ordered the red fish, lamb chops and vegetarian dishes. The red and lamb were exceptionally prepared and were delectable. The fish was crisp and well cooked and the lamb soft, almost sliding of the boneI was a little disappointed that there were no fully vegan options on the menu but the staff did try their best to accommodate me. I had two veggie skewers with chips on the side. It was oily but I enjoyed it as best I could. The chips were amazing. The drinks and food menus are inexpensive considering the locale. Wine list is limited but good. Imported Greek beers were around R45 each but local beers are cheap.Service was beyond excellent. The waiters gave us space but were attentive. The owners came out to speak to guests which was nice. Washroom facilities available toward the back of the kitchen. Parking is roadside, well-lit and safe.

A Restaurant For Any Occasion: Probably my favourite restaurant in Durban, as a family we go there simply to enjoy the authentic Greek food in a tremendously friendly atmosphere. It feels like a place youve always known and the food is fresh, tasty and Greek, from the Mixed Meze Platter to the Baklava Dessert. It is also great value for money.

Amy was an excellent waitress, offering specials and took time and attention to small things which made it great. The food was tremendous. I didnt love the Squid heads as they were almost a bit gritty more than crunchy. The lambs chops were absolutely marvellous and thick cut and juicy and VERY tasty. My friend had the Sole and she was over the moon....have it Pan fried. They had a 1kg Prawn special too but we arent shellfish fanatics but it REALLY looked awesome. Coffee was just average but tasty and overall the experience was a 9/10 all round. Love Greek or love food, you will LOVE Delphi Taverna... our little local piece of Greece.

Lovely little local Greek taverna run by Maria and her happy helpers. The meze starters are a must. The squid heads were a treat! The kilo of prawns shared between two people are always a winner - taste and value for money. I normally have the mousakka which is great, but decided to have the lamb chops prepared as the kitchen saw fit. The flavour was great, but a tad overcooked for my liking. Always a great night out at Delfi.
