Amazing service and expectional food, a must visit for steak lovers also awesome dessert

If you feeling for a good piece of steak with choice wines and whiskeys then consider this restaurant. It has a classic and relaxing ambiance. The waiter had taken his time to make us feel comfortable and was attentive to our likes. The music was playing softly in the background allowing conversation to be easy. This was a good dining experience 👌

If you are not a vegetarian, this is the best restoran to be visited in Durban. Had tasted steaks almost all over the world, and consider Bucher Boys is the best Steak Hous to be visited.

Very nice ambiance. Wasnt very full been a Monday night. My wife and I had the Date Night Special. Which was good value. R500 for 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine. Starters and mains you can choose from a limited list. The starters were absolutely delicious, we had the boerie bites and the grilled garlic calamari. This was served with some toasted bread with garlic butter. Absolutely delicious. We both had Rump steaks which were prepared as requested. The chips were good. My wife had the garlic mash, which had more of a rosemary taste the was prominent. Still tasty. Our waitress didnt give off the most friendly vibes, but the service was very good, no complaints there. I would definitely recommend and will go back again, this having been my first visit.

Consistently Deliciously superb. 21 years experience in the business shows when you are as good at something as Lazzie. Best steaks, done to perfection, delicious chips and mouthwateringly good Madagascan green pepper corn sauce is what I had last time but I think everything is good 👍

Horrible food. Ordered a plater for 2 and the ribs were off, the manager had the cheek to say its the basting sauce, clearly he should not be in the food industry. So paid for food that didnt eat. Never again, for such a expensive place to sell off meat. Disappointed

The vibe here was very nice. The service is amazing and the food is to die for. The burgers we had and ribs with red meat and the chicken dish were all amazing. I would highly recommend that you come to this place if you want the best quality and tasty food. The burgers were the best by far with their mushroom sauce I couldnt stop eating. I literally wanted to ask for more of the sauce cause thats how delicious it was. Their strawberry and pineapple daiquiri are also amazingly delicious. I really enjoyed being here and will definitely be coming back. Their restrooms are also beautiful the pictures on the wall and the big mirror really make the whole restroom come alive you will even be tempted to take pictures in there thats how beautiful it is.

The black Angus steak... incredibly good cut and just melt in your mouth steak. Salt and pepper rub was just rite! It was cocked to perfection!Local T-Bone couldve been a more balanced cut. But it was a great steak as well!Every time Im in Durban, I swing by this place!

Im quite happy with the service and food.Bonus points for the location and low background noise. Its a pleasure going to eat with family and being able to hear them speak.This is not the place for you if you are looking for a cheap meal, but you do get decent food and portions for the money. Its also not really the place to go for a decent cup of coffee, but I kind of expected that going in - I was there for the food.I was also happy with the choice of the side vegetables. So many restaurants go with the terrible mashed pumpkin and creamed spinach. I cannot stand pumpkin, so its mighty pleasing getting proper roasted vegetables.

Avo Dijon chicken, was disappointing.tasteless and was hard on surface of chicken.The waiter forgot about us, had to get another waiter to help.The Steak was great as usual.

This place is an absolute must for meat lovers. They know exactly how to deliver their cuts and they have the best and finest cuts on offer. The staff is very friendly and the service was amazingly speedy. Checks all the boxes. Flavor, quality, speed and ease.

A pleasant discovery, if you are in Durban and crave for a good steak then look no further, the butcher boys is the place to be. Very friendly staff, clean and efficient as well as affordable and well decorated, it’s hard to find anything negative to say about this restaurant. Garlic bread, creamy spinach and medium rare sirloin were all divine and all served with a smile. The wines that were suggested for my colleagues and myself were paired perfectly with our meal choices. I recommend this place and will be back on my next trip for sure.

I would have rated this place initially a 4 star as they where not to busy on a Wednesday night but we waited a bit long for our meals, but once the food arrived it was world class I could not fault it, that steak was done to perfection I was utterly satisfied. Our waiter Nicholas helped me with my decision and educated me in the different dry and wet aged steaks because of his pleasant attitude, even through his mask(covid rules) he had a continuous smile on his face and the service was very good, he has secured this 5 star from me, u will not go wrong going here give this place a try and u will leave here as satisfied as I am.

The food and service were excellent, except desert. My rib eye was perfectly cooked, but the creme brûlée was more like a soup, than a custard. It had not set at all, however the flavour was there, and I didn’t feel the need to send anything back. Overall, I had a great time.

Meat lovers place, nice GT as well. Nice place to eat with friends, colleagues or as a couple. Didnt like the cheese cake very choc and heavy, but thats just a matter of taste. Good value for money.

Visited tonight as part of a large group of 20+ wed reserved a table so got in no problem. Everyone really enjoyed their food, especially the steaks, there were a few vegetatians and Im a vegan and they catered really well for us, staff were super friendly and helpful. Only downside is one of us ordered a chicken dish but part of it was worringly pink, they sorted it out as quick as they could though. Nice atmosphere and clean toilets too.

I have never been to this restaurant and not left delighted. Im a Butcher Boys Morningside evangelist. The servers are always on point, the food splendid. If youre in the mood for steak, go.So why not five stars? Thats reserved for the absolute pinnacle and Im nitpicky. The pepper sauce was ever so slightly over-concentrated and the steak knife wasnt serrated. Its a personal preference.

The atmosphere is great. Very cosy and romantic set up. Service was excellent. God was very flavourful and done to perfection. It exceeded my expectations. Prices are steep but well worth the price.
