Great holiday resort.Well managed.Golf course in top condition.

We loved our 10 day stay here. It was quite far away from the beach and not mentioned but that didnt get us down. I would recommend renting a golf car for quick nav if it is too far to walk. It was a lovely 4 bedroom house, all rooms en suite. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and sauna! It was clean and well kept.All the estate facilities are in superb condition. Beautiful golf course. Nice beach with lifeguards. Small shop inside the estate. Hotel and spa. Tennis and squash courts. To name a few.

Lovely place but I have some suggestions to make.The Villa is not wheelchair friendly. The cleaner picked up the dirty towels and re hanged them for usage in these Covud times. The restaurant told us they provide Prawn and Chicken curry only to find out its shrimp and chicken. 4 tiny shrimps. We complained to the manager, only to find out thats what they serve.

Lovely room and a very good taste with the furniture. The view was amazing 👌.

Our villa was not serviced when we checked in. No bedding. All cutlery and crockery had to be washed by myself as I found old food still stuck to plates and dirty coffee mugs packed away

I loved my stay here. Wonderful receptionist called Sam. The venue itself is refreshing. Experienced some wild life on the premises and visited the private beach so overall the stay deserves 5 full stars!

Fantastic family holiday estate with golf course, mashee course, bowling greens, MTB and walking trails. Fishing dams, bird hide, tennis and squash courts, golf kart hire, Spar superette. Library, hotel, spa and gym. Swimming pools. Beach access through private gate. Secure and child friendly.

Beautiful place, always.

San Lameer is well located and family friendly in most respects. It has a nice beech with a good life guarding team, which is necessary on this coast. It lovely to have the wild life around but the large number of villas and the fire has somewhat limited the space for the animals and birds. The petrol golf carts are a good idea for getting around, but electric ones would be better (less noise, greener and cleaner). Book them in advance to ensure availability at peak times. The standard of the villas is generally very good, but not 5 star. Some of the mattresses in our unit were of moderate quality and the crockery and cutlery somewhat cheap and sparse for 7 people. Mosquito screens on the window would be a good idea particularly as one of the air conditioning units did not function.My daughter required hospital treatment for a head injury when she was hit by a golf ball driven from the 9th tee when dinning at the club house restaurant. This was a known problem to the staff; a woman had her nose smashed the day before while dinning. But injuring guess regularly is apparently not a concern to the management!

San Lamest is a beautiful well maintained upmarket estate. The golf course is in magnificent condition and although challenging is great to play. The beach is nice, quiet (We were out of season) and clean. One week in the beautiful villa at this great resort is too short. Highly recommended.

A great holiday destination for anyone who wants to get away from all the rush of Jhb or any other busy city. The best time to enjoy is in the winter as the area is not affected by winter. You get luke warm weather that is very nice and enables you to relax. The best part about this place is the private beach they have.

The villa (2537) we stayed in was old in need of an upgrade very dusty and needs a clean up just watch out for villa 2537 there are better Villas availableSan Lameer overall is a nice place and lots to do around.

Perfect family getaway - What a top family and relaxing destination. Just love this place with its private beach, world class golf course, mountain bike trails, lagoon and every leisure activity you would expect.

Views are spectacular, from rooms to lake. Should be mindful of leaving windows open due to monkeys. Service expectation was somewhat poor in prioritizing. The dining area is simple yet beautiful. The bar area has good furnishings. The menu is suprising and the lamb jobs were awesome all week althought requests on how it should be done were somewhat overdone nevertheless tasty. The dessert, I was blown away with the malva pudding served with fresh cream almonds and caramelized toffee, it was the best dessert. Food presentation is excellent. Al a carte and buffet available. Breakfast buffet has a really good variety. The rooms were spectacular, suites include his and hers closets, the bath being the attraction situated almost midroom upon entrance is amazing. After a long day taking a bath, sipping bubbly and appreciating a good view is incredible. Appreciate the chocolates left in rooms every evening. Golf carts to get around the villa are available for daily rental although unrealistically pricey. There is a conference area as well. I did enquire with reception as to why there is no aircon in the reception area, that is still unknown. Toilet based in corner of room makes it a bit odd and there is lack of airway there. After escalating my experience received spa voucher courtesy management the spa people, the spa is amazing just when I thought I had seen it all, there are play pools near the spa that is located in the resort for kids. One can relax and get a facial or massage done, hair and nails done whilst sipping ginger tea, juice or coffee and observe the scenery glass all around amazing waters. This place is amazing. It is a beaut. One of the best I have checked into. The customer service was a disappointment nevertheless compensation made up for it. I recommend for team buildings, business trips and even family trips and individual relaxation. This place employs a large number of people contributing to the labour market. Kudos.

We stayed in Villa 1928 over the long weekend. We did request for a villa with an aircon. Unfortunately when we got there the main bedrooms aircon did not work. After the staff tried everything to help solve this problem, it was disappointing to find out, that they where aware that this was an existing problem before are arrival.I have to say they did try to help us and apologized profusely.Other than that it was a good stay over all.- DONT go to the restaurant! Service was terrible, we left after 25 mins waiting for two coffees.- The Beach was fantastic- Very safe, estate feel.- child friendly facilities, make use of the games and fun activities they have to rent- Cleaning staff was very friendly and good.- Just look out for those cheeky monkeys in the mornings stealing food off your table;)

Absolutely shocking establishment with poor service , only one restaurant with very poor service and shocking food - definitely wont be back!!
