I would like to begin by stating that I am not a fan of mutton, however, my wife and I have just enjoyed the most delicious mutton curry at Thava in Suncoast. Absolutely spectacular. The starter, which was a tandoori mixed platter was absolutely Devine. Will definitely be bringing the rest of the family to enjoy. Compliments to the chef!!!

An excellent Indian restaurant with both North and South Indian dishes available. The prices are fair and the food, delicious. Service was very good. I do look forward to trying the breakfast menu to fully make up my mind as to how good the food really is.Just visited the restaurant for a second time and I can safely now say that the food is consistently delicious... The service is awesome and there is something for every taste. From hot spicy dishes to the favorite bunnies. The palak chaat is a must have starter. Crunchy and full of flavourful sweet and sour.. Spicy.. absolute awesomeness in one plate..garnished with fresh juicy tomatoes and crunchy sev. This promises to be a fabulous taste experience. Im looking forward to my next visit and the dosas they will have on the menu at a later stage. So far we have tried at least 10 dishes here and all have been unique and tasty. The paryasam and the soji are the ultimate desserts to try.

Food tasted amazing. My family and I underestimated this place but it was absolutely delicious. Definitely something to recommend to others who love Indian food!

Very good Indian restaurant, hangout to Suncoast all the way from joburg and we dint disappointed, as u walk in till u walk out it made us feel like we have been treated like king .. restaurant was packed but still food was quick and service . Well done

I have eaten at the Thava in Balito the food was amazing and I was looking forward to the exact same flavors and taste at the Suncoast branch , it was a total disappointment. The food was less than average.My daughter had the chicken strips and chips (the strips were over cooked and rubbery).The restaurant was fairly quiet on the day so I would have assumed we would have recieved good service but it was the complete opposite, our waiter was not attentive to the orders we placed .

Overpriced and underwhelming. Better off eating at copper chimney or swaadisht. Tasted like premade sauces u can buy from checkers. The drinks were even worse. Chocolate milkshake tasted diluted and so did the virgin mojito. I will give this place a pass. It was very disappointing.

Food was disgusting, tasted very generic and bland. The chocolate milkshakes we ordered were terrible and tasted like diluted milk with chocolate syrup.

Today I bought chicken tandoori and Biryani.. last time when I bought the tandoori chicken came up with flavoured rice, Today only with salad.The chicken biryani was rubbish.. just mix of chicken curry and rice. Didnt except to be this bad.

The waiter is very slow he took 1 hour to bring his name is mandira he was very stubborn

Food was terrible ... butter chicken had like scrap pieces of chicken which were all burnt. The mutton dish I ordered tasted very gamy and was burnt also. Whats read in the menu and what you actually get is the complete opposite. Not worth the price at all/it’s a ripoff

Ordered Buttered Chicken (cubed) and the chicken was burnt! Very disappointing!
