Typical Spur welcome at the entrance - must have been about 10 waiters / waitresses waiting for my arrival 😂The usual Spur greeting when I was seated with a very friendly & helpful waitress.Service was good & prompt.My breakfast was served well presented & big portions.Id recommend the mixed fruit juice extra large, on special when I was there.Wasnt so crowded when I arrived about late morning, so if you need to do any work catch up before heading to the office, why not pop in.

Wings are too hard to eat, I asked for a well-done cooked steak and I had a half done. Some waiters ignore us. Infact it was just one of them. I think she is a table manager... Other then that it needs a little bit upgrade.

Delicious food all year round. You can go and celebrate any occasion with them. They customer service is amazing.

A mananger and the waiter of the up stairs component refused to bring drum bits birthday my sisters birthday. Anather thing please increase the number of waiters in that component, we always need service while that lazy one u gave to us busy kicking the hills. Please fix on that one. Will be happy to find changes next week. Thank you while you are fixing that for me

As one would expect from a Spur. Actually had a really great waiter and the breakfast was tasty.... But served cold. Anyways one cannot bash a venue like this. Its a family venue designed to cater for families. Spent many days and nights there while raising my youngun. Not a place for a hot date... Take your kids there, let them run a mock while you munch down on some production style relatively tasty food...

Food was a bit cold(time delay).... and mushrooms were burnt. Jodi tried by all means to accommodate n make us feel welcomed, thanks for that..... Id luv to come back soon..... to see a bit of improvement... been here before so many times... so try n fix small things...

I have eaten in many Spurs across the country, this Spur however stands above all.. Service is beyond exceptional, food beyond amazing.. The menu rarely changes but I can see why.. Every bite you take makes you want more.. The cleanliness and the atmosphere is truly awesome..

Compared to previous times, the service was absolutely quick and efficient.. Waiters were friendly and constantly checking up on us... Food was piping hot and delicious!

I am so disappointed with the service, its been a while since we visited this branch and service was so poor. My dad has a stroke and in a wheelchair and we had waited so long to place our order, eventually we asked a girl if we could order she took our order and gave it to someone else, we asked to have our drinks, she only brought my dads drink, our food was served without onion rings, when asked if they dont serve it anymore the waiter said she thought we dont want it and gave us one portion for 3 people to share. On asking for the bill we also asked for a glass of water as my dad was crying with a toothache, it never came we had to go outside and buy from the ice cream stall.Poor service will not visit there again

This is our often chill out spot save for Covid 19. We have always received top treatment. The best manager is Mr. Welcome. The waiters and waitresses are good, a few to mention is Keenan, Nicole, Sindisiwe, Thobeka and the white chic. They truly treats us like family. #excellentservice

Now this is a Spur ranch that has the best service and personnel we have ever encountered. Customer service comes first and we want to commend 2 personnel the Waitron Bongiwe and manager Samke who made our visit special with consistent good service on 2 consecutive daye - very well done.

I was not impressed at all by the service received from Gateway Spur, the delays in food preparation and the not so caring hospitality of staff. Ended up taking our meal as a take away as it was then too late to dine. Only to find the meat was raw and it was late to return it. Eventually had to cook a proper meal for my family even though it was super late. Very disappointed!!!

Everyone loves Spur. A place we all grew up at as kids. This Spur keeps the values we know. I was served by an amazing guy, Keanon. He was friendly and helpful and made me feel like part of the Spur family. He remembered the seat I like, even though I had only been there twice before. He was attentive to my needs as I was alone (as usual) and treated me with so much professionalism yet friendliness. The Manager also came to my table to check on me and made the experience even better. I love going to Spur for a quick meal and yet tasty also because I know what Im going to get. This Spur topped this for me and really is high on the service chain.

Orders were messed up. Texan blaze burger patty was very small. Steak was very well done instead of medium well. Sides were mixed up. Great play area with very good security so parents can have an easy meal while the kids are busy. Staff was friendly.

Its Spur! South Africas favourite steak ranch chain. Not much else to say here, this one is pretty consistent with their food, never had a bad experience. Beers are always fresh too.

We had our daughters birthday celebration there. The staff is amazing as usual, they made the day special for my baby girl. And for their cheddar melted steak was lovely.

The service was good. It has a family atmosphere and the waiters are friendly and carying, the food was great. Welcome the manager goes out of his way to build up a personal relationship with his clients and goes out his way to make them feel welcome. Its the best in town..

Edit: After my review, one of the managers at the restaurant (Alan) got in touch with me to chat about my experience. I must say, I was really taken back by the level of service I received. He was very polite and well mannered. He explained that they are busy investigating what could have went wrong with the food and invited my brother and I over for another shot at the burgers. We went through and it was awesome! The service was incredible, our waitress (Patience) was very helpful and always smiling.A big thank you to Alan and all the staff that showed us a great time.Service here has improved quite a bit since my last visit. My breakfast was done well, served quickly too. The waitress, Cindy was very attentive, polite, always smiling and was more than happy to accommodate our requests. Very pleasant lady indeed! However, my brothers burger was terrible, had a strange sour taste, almost as if lemon juice was added to it (terrible idea for a BBQ beef burger with cheese). Sadly, when we reached home, he and I were feeling sick and had tummy problems (I also tasted a bit of his burger). My mum, who had the Unreal Breakfast), was just fine as she didnt try the burger. 3 stars because of the burger...

Your staff should learn how to greet customers and assist them to find a table at the entrance. Terrible attitude. Food; good, however the toast was plain. Plain bread non toasted. This was not a pleasant experience. Rather do breakfast at other places.

I was craving spurs Nachos and Wings this evening. It didnt dissapoint.. However the Waiter tried to be attentive, this lacked as the evening progressed.... Had to ask another Waiter for a drink and extra napkins.One of my pet hates is waiters congregating and having their own little discussions.. Well its spur I shouldnt be expecting a five star experience..
