Good cocktails, and their food is pretty good as well. Go there often because they also do hubblys and the fam loves hubblys. However I dont recommend if you are not looking for a loud and lit vibe. Can get really loud, even during the day, a great place to drink and be merry though.

Quiet dissapointing service. Or maybe it was just not my day, but truely enjoyed the food.

Great food, quiet atmosphere and not very busy when we were there, worth a visit.

The service is bad . Even this one star is out of generosity because they dont deserve any star.When we arrived , we expected to be welcomed by a waiter/waitress to assist us and yet all the waitresses just looked at us and carried on doing whatever they were doing. Nobody came to us and we stood there just waiting for atleast 10 mins without any assistance. Very disappointing.

Decided to have coffee here with family. Great ambience with the seating and umbrellas outside. Laid back and relaxed. We were going for this vibe. Wanted to be away from the hustle of the shopping centre. We visited during the day. Was not too noisy. Waitress was friendly and efficient. We ordered drinks and a nachos platter. Was really good. Their cocktails are amazing. Would definitely recommend. Loved it.

What lets this place down is the staff. Hard to find, slow to respond. Would clear the table before food or drinks finishedFoodEggs Benedict was on the money and cooked to order. The food is really great. Picture shows the Breakfast burger stack. Only to things the Potato Rosti was a little mushy and oily. Second and last. The staff got really loud at one point where it became quite difficult to have a conversation with the people you took to the restaurant. I will do breakfast there again and try something else. But good food and reasonably price gets a thumbs up from me. I cannot comment on the evening crowd as that would not be my scene

Friendly and professional service and an inviting atmosphere with a great night time vibe.The upstairs area is well suited where greater privacy is desired and has been a good venue to host our business networking events with the management being very accommodating of our needs.We will be back for sure!(A special thanks to Alisha for accommodating us)

This is a nice place for a relaxed Sunday when there isnt traffic and no loud music. The food is fairly good and prepared quickly to avoid long waits. The outside are could do with more umbrellas and adjustments to give more shade as Durban always has the sun shining out. Overall its a nice spot.

A very lively place, a bit noisy if you want a quiet dinner. Lots of to share platters to choose from. Located just next to Gateway theater of shopping so you can utilize that parking. The food was not so awesome. Ordered burger with caramelized onions but they didnt put them in. Only came after I advised waiter of the deficiency. Ambience is very good.

On a recent trip to Durban, we spent a lovely evening at News Cafe Umhlanga Ridge. The waiters were extremely friendly and always at hand. The variety of Cocktails were amazing, we nearly tried them all! The vibe is very relaxing, we chose the corner with couches and candle light. Great for a relaxing evening out with your friends or partner

Terrible and rude staff that judge customers and refused us service, we were a group of colleagues together from Jhb, they ignored us when asking for a table and didnt even have the decency to converse appropriately. only 1 lady waitress was polite and offered to serve us after it turned ugly and we threatened to put it on hello peter, absolutely disgusting service, i will never go there again would give them zero star if i could.

A useless manager whose self-importance means more than actuality being a manager, will create the issues this place has.I love loud pumping dance music in a Club! This is a Café! But the music is played so loud, because the manager likes it that way, that u must scream to be heard.The food I ordered arrived after 25mim and was cold, tough and pretty tasteless! Of course the manager never once came to ask me how things were.So, the manager can run this place like its his toy club to party in, but clients like me will never return!

Could have caught them on a bad day but the service here is horrible. 15 min sitting inside with no other tables and no one assists. No one at the door, staff just standing at the bar talking and looking at me, but offering no assistance. Needless to say I left hungry.
