Excellent place to stay the night form Cape Town to Johannesburg. Exceptional clean rooms, bathroom and kitchen. The gardens are fantastic.

Lovely rooms with a warm atmosphere and comfortable environment. Staff are friendly and on the ball. Even though we arrived quite late, they were available and welcoming. The amenities in the units are highly functional and modern. As a big family, we felt comfortable in the space, not squished at all. We also enjoyed the coffee and rusks this morning 😊 This is our third time staying here, and well definitely stay again! Thank you to the staff for a great experience.

Booked in on the 14/11/2017. Good clean accommodation. Cannot fault the facility at all, as everything was provided, even milk in the fridge.Just a word of advice, remove all your valuables from your vehicle. Discovered our tonneau cover was loosened on our double cab on our departure the following morning, despite the vehicle parked behind a palisade fence. Lost some clothing in the process but otherwise a pleasant experience overall. Will definitely revisit.

Great place to stay over between Gauteng and Cape Town. Friendly clean and really affordable, as they offer family rooms. Rooms have a small kitchenette and Braai facilities. Otherwise the town offers some cosy restaurants.We would certainly stay over here again

The 7 bedroom house is perfect for a family of 5 or more. Secured garage big enough to fit a family van, bakkie or minibus. Braai facilities, clean rooms, good security. DStv available (minimum bouquet), and the kitchen was stocked with a variety of coffees, tea, milk, rusks. Less than 50 metre walk to restaurants. I highly recommend Skietberg for anyone looking for safe and comfortable accommodation

Best place to stay in Colesberg. Has everything you need for that over night stay. Rooms are super clean (really clean). Kids enjoyed playing in the small garden after a long day on the road and staff is very friendly. Room had towels, milk and coffee with rusks, limited DStv channels and WiFi. I will highly recommend Skietberg Lodge. Prices are very reasonable also. Thank you Skietberg Lodge for making our holiday even better, see you guys one of the days again.

We were offered the seven sleeper accommodation, far from this main lodge (close to the traffic department) because our booked room was apparently too small for us.Upside: the place is spacious with 3 big bedrooms, furnished lounge with DSTV, biggish kitchen with; center island, stove/oven, microwave, kettle, fridge, vacuum, filtered water purifier, ceramic plates and mugs, metals cutlery, ground and instant coffee, tea, sugar and longlife milk. Theres a patio area with outside table and chairs and built-in outside braai. Also, theres covered parking for 2 cars with remote garage roller doors, very private and secure.Downside: no pool and wifi (like at this main lodge). Very old house (seems recently renovated); old/worn room doors and frames with security gates on each, single bathroom (bath and shower) with toilet which struggled to flush, bathroom had an extractor fan (no windows). The northern parallel road was very noisy for a Sunday night (cars, loud talking and music).I would only recommend the seven sleeper accomodation (Ventershoek St, Colesberg, 9795) for a large family or group for a one night stay.

Very neat and clean very well rested. There were all the kitchen facilities you would need for an evenings self catering accommodation, ample 2-point plugs for everyones herds of chargers, soaps, shampoos and conditioners in the shower, to name but a few. Cute swimming pool with a nice garden. Its also quiet and away from the towns traffic, but close enough to eat out. Lovely comfortable beds and ablution facilities. Very friendly reception :-) Will stay there again!
