Had occasion to visit the store this week, thinking I needed to replace the shoes I purchased from them in June 2018. Regrettably, I did not obtain the name of the young man who served me. He was pleasant, professional and ethical. I say ethical, because he advised me that my shoes still had a lot of life left, and that there was no need for new ones at present. He suggested a new pair of insoles, fitted them in my shoes and invited me to walk around the shop to try them for comfort. Suffice to say, I was happy and left the shop walking on air. People, dont go anywhere else for your shoes.....RUN is your go-to store

Excellent service at the store. Came in with a current pair of shoes (approaching the end of their mileage), we checked the tread and found shoes both similar to the current pair and within capability range across multiple brands. PJ was upfront with all the pricings and gave shoes suggestions based on the mileage, road-surface and fit I was aiming for.

Not the greatest experience. I was there to collect online order my daughter had placed. Despite being forewarned I was collecting had to wait 10 minutes for them to sort out, then when i delivered to my daughter they had packed wrong size.

I had a really bad experience walking into this store. The staff was not friendly, leaving me to my own devices and when i was finally attended too, it felt as if i was not welcome in the store. I was not offered the professional experience that they so call seem to offer. I asked about any sales or specials they may have and immediately the staff gave me a dirty look as if i was begging. When i finally did leave i said good bye with no response. I assume because I am POC they feel only white people get the full treatment.

This is the best place in Cape Town to buy running shoes at decent prices. I needed some light trail-running shoes and first visited Tekkie Town, Sport Scene and Total Sports in the golden acre shopping center. Their selection of proper non-road shoes were terrible and I wasted my time. Went to “Run”, talked to JP about my running requirements and I had a pair of light weight New Balance trail-running shoes in less than 30 minutes. They also seem to have a good selection of sizes. I cannot begin to tell you how great this place is. As a plus size woman, I know we often feel intimidated when we have to visit the gym, join an exercise class etc. Today I visited Run cause Ive been jogging (read walking) for a while now and have been experiencing calve and shin problems. A few people told me about Run and I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. From the moment I stepped into that store, Jono made me feel like I was about to do the Comrades! He was patient, knowledgable, thoughtful and put me at ease from the get go. He offered his email so I can contact him any time I need advise. The other staff member was just as friendly and kind. We were mainly women in the store, with a few men popping in, and they bounced between the customers effortlessly without making you feel youre loosing out. If you are just starting out or even an experienced runner, make sure to go visit. You wont be disappointed. The best part was me being called a young lady hahaha......now thats a top notch selling strategy! Please go and visit!!

Had a great expert experience with Jono and Janet. Ive got a unique problem with lower back pain and orthotics. Jono took out the orthotics and thought and thought and thought about the best shoe for me. He felt and looked at the orthotic as if to decipher a running style or see where my body weight moves to while on a run. He checked indents and finally advised on a great shoe. After putting it on and discussing with Janet, they made a determination that theres a better choice for me.Great service, great advice, great shoes.
