We were looking for a restaurant with live music and Pigalle was highly recommended. We were not disappointed. A beautiful establishment, professional and friendly staff and delicious food. We enjoyed a seafood platter and ordered dessert to take away. Everything tasted amazing. It being a weeknight, the restaurant was not full but I believe one gets a different experience over the weekend. Highly recommended spot.

I went there because there was a special event. I took my temperature at the entrance, and all the facilities were clean and beautiful. There were live instruments such as piano drums and a small stage. The meal was delicious and all the staff were kind. The manager listened to the customers request and solved it quickly. I was touched by the kind service. The bathroom was clean, too. A staff member stayed and provided hand sanitizer and hand cream. It sounds great for a party or event like a special birthday. The parking lot was also convenient and there were many captainial spaces as it was across from the entrance of the restaurant. Very satisfying.

Had a surprize birthday at the restaurant and was also my first time there. We were in a private area very cosy and had access to an outside area which was very convenient for the smokers in the group. A set menu was served and the waiting staff explained the menu and any extra charges so nothing was a surprize. The food was extremely tasty and well prepared and the service excellent. All in all a nice experience especially for a date night.

Service was a bit slow, but they were quite busy. Food was great. Concern around the amount of people on the dance floor without masks on...perhaps management should be more strict about this...

This a good dining place for a date, friends or celebrations such as birthdays or anniversaries!! I celebrate one of my friends birthday here. There is a band that plays music, they even played and sang a happy birthday for my friend. The atmosphere is very good for such listed above events. The customer service is dope, I enjoyed interacting with them. The lights are not bright , which makes the place a bit dull... Its hard to find the place, especially if you are coming from Somerset Road.. Just remember to make a turn onto highfield Road heading to Somerset Square and park in there....

Have a small appealing sanitizer bottle on each table. 2. Offer 1 drink on the house for birthday guest. I quite enjoyed the special touch of happy birthday on my dessert plate as well as birthday song dedicated to myself and others sharing birthday with me from/by the band-it really made me feel special, thank you.

From the Beautiful entrance, to the timeless Retro decor, the magnificent Bar Area and the Draping Chandeliers, for a moment in time one felt absorbed in the 50s while at the same time spoilt in an unforgettable experience !!The Perfect Place for a Special Occasion as was displayed on the evening we chose to go, an engagement, a wedding with Bride in gown, several wedding anniversaries including our own 25th and several Birthdays.The food was from a different level and class.Our table had a various selection from Oysters with a lime & chilli dressing, peri peri chicken livers, calamari and cream of mussels starters. For main course, the dishes varied from Rib Eye steak, Teriyaki Line Fish, Lamb Shank and a Seafood Platter for 2. All were exceptional with flavour, tenderness, freshness and portion size and sides.An awesome, unforgettable evening out. You wont regret it.One snag, went out on a very warm evening and the venue lacks Aircon or even roof fans which IMO would fit in perfectly with the decor and ambiance.

Its a pleasant place. The atmosphere is very nice. The food was amazing, nothing was overdone or under cooked. I did not understand the plate which served the butternut soup though. The band set the perfect mood for a chilled weekday dinner. Perfect for dinning with family and friends, or if you just feel like a romantic evening out with your partner.

All the meals we ordered were delicious including the drinks. I tried out the springbok loin the waiter said to take medium which I did. Really happy with my choice, the mash was like a pistachio green colour amd really delicious. All the desserts we tried were nice too. They had a live band people were dancing. Really nice vibe/atmosphere. We didnt wait long for our food.

Excellent service, fantastic staff and great food, the entire atmosphere was fun and exciting and management was kind and always helpful, definitely worth going back anytime and considering covid theyve done absolutely fantastic remaining both safe and creating a friendly and safe environment along side precautions.

I had the most delicious tasty lamb shank. I give Pigale 3 stars for the following reasons... The mash even though it looked and tasted great was cold. The chocolate fondant was not the best Ive had as the cake was not moist and there was hardly any liquid chocolate in the middle. The live entertainment was great BUT too loud and I could not hear my guests. So if youre wanting to dress up and go and dance and have good food without being able to converse clearly with your friends Pigale is a good place to go to.

Lovely Ambience, extremely fancy and seafood platter was amazing. Service was great and waiter went the extra mile to have the live band dedicate a song as it was our anniversary. I was blown away with everything about this place.

The lamb shank was so soft it literally fell off the bone and every single bite was better than the previous. The live performance and announcements for each celebration was well enjoyed too. This is a fantastic restaurant for anyone looking for a great formal dining experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Manager is hands on and goes out of his way to ensure great service. The food is excellent. The mushroom ravioli, seafood platter and sole were fantastic. The live band and intimate lighting create a wonderful ambiance particular for couples looking for a romantic night out. I highly recommend that you eat here at least once.

Amazing food, plenty of it, and it came with a Good Price and great service! Both the plating and taste were absolutely great! Great live music and cosy jazz performed by a live band. I would really recommend everyone staying in Cape Town to make a reservation at this fine dining restaurant.

Such a beautiful restaurant. From the moment you step in you feel that warm welcome. From the decor to the food to the service we were given was very on point. This is the perfect place if you just want to spoil yourself a bit. There were various types of people there from business people to people getting engaged to people going on their first date to people just going out to listen to good music and eat good food. There is also a live band and a dance floor. I really enjoyed visiting this restaurant, especially the part of being able to dress up. Putting on my favorite dress and heels. Such a great experience

Amazing food, one of the best sea food restaurants Ive ever been too. Our server, Elvis, was lovley and helped us choosing from the menu when it was hard to decide. The music was perfect! It was soothing jazz with the perfect volume so you could always talk without being disturbed by the sound.

Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and couldnt have chosen a better venue. Excellent service. Delicious food. Relaxed ambience. Our waiter gave the jazz band our names and they dedicated a song to us. Made the evening extra special. Only left because, well, they have to close you know. 😁 Highly recommended.

I was disappointed at the entrance where the person who received me asked me to wait and handled the group of people who came after me. She even spoke to me with a higher tone asking me to specifically stand in a particular spot.I felt insulted as she preferred other guests over me although I was there before them. I knew my booking but she didn’t even ask.

Bad service , food was not on time, then it was wrong. The waiter did not want to accept his mistake and apologize. Spoke to the manager all he said was sorry. But it was a full house and they did host a wedding that evening. I enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere but think they should go try NV80 steaks as their steaks was dry and tough.

Very upmarket seafood restaurant. I had high expectations and was a little disappointed as my fish was overdone. Everything else was great though. I had the trinchado starter with the kingklip and calamari combo for mains. We also had prawns to share. Like I said, everything was excellent except the fist was overdone a little else I would have given it a 5 star rating. The service is also really good and the manager was very helpful and apologetic about the fish and gave us a free desert which was really cool! I will go back there.

One of the top restaurants in Cape Town. Dress code is smart, dont go with a t-shirt, takkies, caps, and under 14s. Minimum spend per person is R250.00, however this is quickly made up as starters are around R80.00, main meals are around R220, and deserts around R70.00. The food is good and served promptly and at the same time to all at the table, no awkward waiting for one persons food. Free parking within 20meters of the entrance however the side road which you need to take can be easily missed if you have never been there before. A good treat once in a while and be sure look out for week night specials.

A most delightful evening with excellent service, ambiance and food. Our waiter Ken was first class and paid attention to detail. I had the prawns in a chilli sauce as a starter with Salmon as a main and the most delish pavlova all highly recommended. Cant wait to go back again.

My seafood starter and main meal was fresh & flavorful. Lovely place. Attention to detail. Good ambiance with the 2 musicians and singer. Downside.. I was sitting at table 22. & waitrons were always bumping my chair & my maiva pudding portion was tiny.

Always a 🏆 winner.Mothers Day celebration 2021 at Pigalles in Green Point was the best.The food is fresh, tasty and well presented. The waiters are friendly and make sure that everybodys food arrives at the same time.I do not know where else in Cape Town you can enjoy good food paired with live good music such as the Pigalles repertoire.The Covid_19 protocols are strictly applied and they have a generator on standby should Eskoms prince of darkness decide to visit, unexpectedly.

Dinner and a show. A wonderful way to spend a Friday night. The calamari starter was divine. The sirloin was cooked well but the meat itself was average at best and the red wine glasses were not up to standard. Other than that, the band was exceptional and made this a fun night out.
