Beautiful setting and great food at The Deli and amazing ice cream.
Took a while to get going, however, it is established now and has a very nice bistro, wine tasting, beer tasting, ice cream tasting and a vegan cafe plus a suchi cafe all in individual workers huts. The views of the cape Town mountains are great as it is. However it is a great place to chill and as an example drink the local craft ale, which is spot on with fish and chips, but buy a bottle of wine from next door and enjoy it at the same time one of your party enjoys an ice cream from another venue. A lovely relaxed way of enjoying great food drinks and companionship. Please give it a go.
Had a truly lovely afternoon. The only thing hugely lacking is shade. To be more precise, trees. Some large shade trees would make all the difference. Otherwise, well worth the visit.
The greatest new development in the Southern suburbs. Workers houses turned into mini eateries. From a craft brewery (with a flair for fish and chips) and the uitsig wine bar to a sushi joint and the iconic Kristens kickass ice-cream. Something for everyone surrounded by breathtaking views
Avoid this for wine tasting. The staff are sullen and clearly bored showing no interest or passion for wine. You wont be greeted and they mumble through the script about each wine.
Love the setting and all restaurants are really good. Paying for parking is ridiculous even if payed for by certain restaurants. Wonder what the cordorned off huge patchesvof grass will eventually be used for as such a waste of space
