I really liked Massimos. The pizza base was perfect and the flavours fresh. The service was good and atmosphere felt relaxed.We ordered desserts (tiramisu and creme brulee) but neither were really up to the standard I would expect so will probably skip dessert next time. The tiramisu was icy in the middle and the creme brulee was very runny and the top too thick.I will visit again though and will try the pasta dishes. Ill definitely have their pizza again.

The real Italian experience was exceptional. The service was beyond my greatest expectations. The food was great. I would recommend this eatery to anyone that wants real pizza

Restaurant is nestled against the scenic beauty of the Hout Bay mountains in amongst the famous just a Constantia Winelands.The food was tasty and the service is good and friendly. There is a jungle gym for the kids to climb on which gives parents a chance to enjoy a few kid free moments.Capitec customers get a 10% discount on their total bill when they pay using their Capitec card.

As always a wonderful experience accompanied by great tasting pizza. Friendly staff members and very fast service. We sat down and started eating 15 min after we ordered and this was when the restaurant was fairly full !Prices are very fair for the quality of service and food.Atmosphere is very friendly and 2 projectors playing cartoons to pass time for the kids.

The quality is definitely down...a lot.Between started and main we wait more of 25 minutes, only few tables in the restaurant.Is clear now that the priority is the take away, never more the customer like before.What a pity......

Went there today for lunch. Was not impressed , the base is under cooked , the edge is burnt and tomato base is chunky. Was like this for all 3 pizzas we ordered. Prices was at least reasonable but taste was bland. The coffee was good. Might have been good once but think the positive reviews probably coming from those that live in Hout bay. Might just be living off its past glory. Might have been one of those days , but I have never had a bad experience at Burrata and rate their pizzas superior. Probably would have given one star, but had really good service and they are pet friendly

This was one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. We were a party of three and not one of us enjoyed the food!! where do i even start, the base was thin and over cooked, my pizza was about 90 percent tomato paste, hunt the cheese, My boyfriends pizza had tin mushrooms that didnt even taste cooked. after reading the good reviews this was a massive disappointment.

They were voted the pest pizza place in Africa and they definitely lived up to that!Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.The service is friendly and efficient. The pizza was AMAZING, you can taste how fresh the ingredienta are, the tomato base is absolutely delicious and the there is the perfect amount of toppings.When you order some of their pizzas they donate to select charities in the area. You can also pay it forward by buying a slice of pizza for the needy for R10 / slice.Well worth a visit and highly recommended! Be sure to grab a takeaway pizza because you will be left wanting more!

The pasta with crab and calamari is world class. Have to have one of the Don Pedros with their home made liqueur. Either ginger or choc orange

The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is lovely, the walls are filled with history. They have an outside kiddies play section. There is no need to leave your dog at home! They have a special menu for them too 🐾

Where to begin, not great service. ..ok. My pizza was suppose to have a garlic sauce there was non. Had to ask for garlic and add my own, had of the other pizzas at the table all where bland. A better seased base might have made them ok. Best part of the experience was the dim lighting, so we didnt have to see what we were eating.

In this time when restaurants are struggling, I would have expected a lot more in terms of effort and service. Drinks took forever (and didnt even have coke). Pizza even longer and definitely did not live up to the hype on the internet (it was saved by the chilli and garlic condiments which we were charged for). Used to love the place, but very disappointed. Not sure I will drive all the way to Hout Bay again for that.

First night in Cape Town and we chose this place because it was close to our stay and we were so happily surprised by: the delicious fresh food, the relaxed and warm vibe and the one that made us laugh and smile: Zuki! This is your typical pizzeria, fortunately it has recovered its patronage since the lockdown period. It was full last night. The pizzas are tops, which is why we were there. Service is good. The time taken to bring our pizzas to the table was horrendous and I suspect theyre handling too many takeouts, well see how that continues into the future before we carp about that. Overall a pleasant evening, we enjoy a full restaurant and its encouraging to see everyone back.

I think we just found the best pizza in the bay. Really great wood fired taste. Kids area wasn’t suitable for my 2 year old who couldn’t reach anything but they still had fun and enjoyed their pizza.

Food was average, I say this because we ordered a variety of dishes off the menu. Pizza was really great, pasta was a bit bland for my liking, and a few other dishes were okay. There is a kids area, but aimed more at the 6+ years and up age group.my kids didnt really find the play area that great for them and ended up playing on the automated rides (which u pay for). The facility as a whole seemed great. We only sat outside so i am not sure what it is like inside. Service staff where great!

Delicious, authentic Italian food. Inside space lacks ambience to some degree (not a romantic evening venue). However, we were there for lunch and it was full, everyone is obviously there for the good food! Prices reasonable. The carafe of Shiraz wine was effectively 2 glasses so was excellent value. Service was good. Will definitely return for lunch again.

Tough one this as was excellent the first time we went there for pizza. Second time pasta I had was horrid and the pizza was just ok. Staff friendly and professional. Prices good but I think a bit hit and miss. A fairly large restaurant that was a bit chilly and unless 30% full lacks a bit of buzz. Great milkshakes. Worth a try as on a good day five stars and one on our second visit.

They burnt the focaccia a bit. And the pizza was ok. Maybe we caught them at a slow time. The burger was good though. Maybe a bit of a makeover would do wonders. A bar in the evening would be even better.

Great service, great Pizza! There is ALOT of variety, so many pizzas, pastas, an amazing selection of desserts. I had the chocolate brownie which was amazing. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. I really enjoyed it there.

The restaurant is lovely and the service is very good and friendly too. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much and it was warm and comfortable.I was disappointed in the food. I found the base of my pizza was unfortunately soggy while the edges tasted of charcoal. The toppings were nice enough.We had a lovely evening there.

I am so sad that we had a poor pizza. In fact three of the four had pizza bases that were not properly cooked. This place is so highly rated, we were excited to finally try it after all these years. We will try again. Maybe we hit a bad night. Service on entry was slow. The manager walked past us at to the entrance and ignored us.

Their pizza and salads are fantastic. If youre a pet owner you will adore this place as they have a pet menu with the most amazing choices. Theres also 2 different play areas for the kids. Great spot!

A little hidden, but a gem! We had pizza and pasta - a Hawaiin pizza (great base, great distribution of toppings) and a mushroom and gypsy ham pasta (creamy but light and tasty). It was truly wonderful, cannot wait to return to try the gnocchi!

Very good meal as always. Friendly service. Really good pizza and meat balls. All Covid protocols in place and well handled. Be advised, Wed night is live music, by the staff it seems. Background type stuff and not offensively loud. One waitress took to the microphone and was very impressive. One of the managers ( i think) sings and plays the guitar and another bloke beats on a djembe drum. Food 5 stars. Music 3.5 to 4 stars 🌟 depending on the song. At one point another staff member took to the djembe and enthusiastically drowned out the original djembe guys vocal rendition of Leonard Cohens Hallelujah, which was no bad thing. Great fun. Go, you will enjoy it.
