Starting at the shield coast of the most south-western point of Africa along the stunning shore, the awesome Dias beach below and finally to the Old Lighthouse of the Cape Point. What a great experience.

SanParks should fix this walkway but it has amaaaizing views from the heads. Well worth an early morning trek

A Great Scenic walk from Cape of Hope to Cape point. The trail is excellent maintained at least by the time of writing.

Great place for walks. It was windy but the scenery is wonderful

After the photo at the Cape of Good Hope you should definitely take the Scenic Walk to Cape Point. A very nice route. The bus or the car can pick you up there again. Who still needs a good overview of everything should climb the lighthouse.

Cape of Good Hope Scenic Walk There is a scenic trail from the lighthouse parking lot to the Cape of Good Hope Monument. A gentle downhill follows the lighthouse parking lot to Dias beach. Looking back at Cape Maclear you can see two new and old lighthouses. Be careful of the sudden fall of the rocky road to Cape of Good Hope. The reverse route is uphill and the slope is tight. There is no restroom in front of Cape of Good Hope, so lets leave at the lighthouse parking lot and then leave.
