Spectacularly beautiful. Path is not clear, it is not well maintained in places, easy to go off the track because of poor maintenance, cairns are not well placed for direction.

Incredible view the whole way up, path a little tricky to follow

The trail was not in good shape or well marked. The trail head was covered over and we had to climb around the fence when we got down. Really really steep compared to the Hout Bay side. So only for experienced hikers.

A beautifull spot to watch the sunset over the Atlantic on the last day of 2019.

Great trail, views are amazing

A great place to start or end a hike. This path leads up or comes back from the top of Chapmans Peak itself. Its about 500m in elevation and takes around 1.5-2 hours. A bit of a bushy path, but pretty easy to follow. You can return via the same route or go over the top and down the other side. That route comes out at the check point near the toll gates of Chapmans peak drive.
