One of the oldest hardware stores in the city. A place where the staff should think out the box and be solution driven. Not here however - especially not if you arrive just before closure on a Monday afternoon. The team at this outfit let the good brand and past memory of Gordons down. Sad and unfortunate as I remember this to be one of the most amazing hardware stores around.

One of the last remaining real hardware stores in Cape Town: proper service, time taken on every customer to work out what you need and get the job done right. Yes, youll pay more than Builders Warehouse but you wont get the service. An institution.

They sold me extremely expensive items which was supposed to last for numerous uses. Then when I went back to tell them it didnt last, they gave a lot of excuses and basically told me I didnt use it properly - even though they didnt tell me the long list of instructions beforehand. They then had the audacity to try and sell the same to me again. Not at all what they used to be...
