Best experience, best selection of products and technical expertise. The guys and gals working in the isles and departments actually know what they selling and can give proper advise. Id go back again for any hardware needs. NB: get the Brights card, you can get 5% discount on many items and if you lose your slip,the card is a digital receipt as well!!!!

Staff is friendly and ALWAYS helpful. I initially went in just to get some paint samples/paint. I was going to get a company to paint the interior of my house, but the guys at the paint section were so helpful and informative, after leaving there I felt like I could tackle it on my own.... and I did! The areas that Ive done so far turned out amazing! Ive literally saved 1000s of Rands. (Ive been there multiple times and services is always top notch! )

So friendly sales ladies baffled me with their product knowledge. Were looking for small 6v globes and alarm blocks (brown,). Got assistance from two ladies in no time pointing to the correct items. This made me feel valued as a customer and I bought lots of other items beside the two items I intended to purchase. The Covid19 protocol was adhered to. Pleasure to shop there in the future.

Was at building counter nobody to help. 4 people waiting. 2 walk away anoid by no service. I am a contractor and nearly go there everyday and this happens a lot. On the 10th i phoned 4 times the building counter nobody answers and again this is not the first time. Sorry Brights you need to relook at your building counter staff. Two people there great when they are there and that is Adrian and Wendy very friendly. Another gentleman is there he helped me and was rude in helping. Again i just come from there and this same gentleman is sitting doing something. The phones are ringing around him and he does not pick up. This is why you can get phone call service as there is no staff and the one that is there does not pick up😡

I was actually shocked at the service level ... Stood in the irrigation isle waiting on assistance for almost 20 minutes. I eventually managed to get assistance and the person just disappeared... I have the name of the lady, however, I wont shame individuals directly. My opinions are all true experiences from the first impression.

I ordered polycarbonate sheets and a gutter on Thursday. Too long for my roof rack, so they would deliver.Only Saturday between 10 and noon, they said.They have my mobile number.Just after 1pm I phoned. The lady said shes waiting for her truck to return.I queried why she couldnt call me to let me know.She put the phone down on me.Ive been coming to Brights for some time now. Now Im not so sure.Normally very good service from on floor sales people.I suppose good service is dying in SA.

I love all the Brights stores I have been to. However, I was a little disappointed with the service received at the drive thru at Brights Brackengate. I had to wait soo long for employers to be found , who should be at the back assisting the customers with the collections. At some point I wanted to grab the 50kg bag of cement myself but then realised it would probably fall on me :)

Very impressed with the help I received from 2 young men in the yard when collecting a facia board...went out of their way to load it on my bakkie which turned out to be too small. A makeshift rope and some cardboard sorted the problem.A big thumbs up 👍

Never have stock. Few sales people and most of them dont know what you talking about.

Staff avoid serving you like its not their job. Shop is also poorly laid out- narrow passes make some aisles impossibleto navigate. And things are hard to find (especially since you aint getting help from the staff). Such a pity.

On Friday 2021/01/29 I drove from Parow to your Brackengate branch to buy Premix cement because the yard is more accessible than the yard in Boston. In your price list I saw Cement Afrisam 20 Kg code 77109. When I placed my order at the counter I was told that cement ONLY comes in 50 kg bags. I could have bought the premix from Buiders Warehouse for R42.00 per 40 kg bag, but because you listed 40 kg cement I drove the distance to your Brackengate branch. I will remember this BAD experience when buying hardware in future!
