For regular shoppers it may be ok but for a new customer its not so plain sailing. Two to 3 entrances makes for bad guessing what entrance to go to. Cashiers seem to be spread out left and sort of right not sure where to stand to check out.Security guy threw sanitizer all over the floor and himself so was stuck for 2 minutes not knowing what to attend to first foing through our bags or cleaning his mess up without apologisingThe only decent help was on the immediate right when entering the Main Entrance where the 2 ladies handed my online purchase to me.The one guy that myself and another customer in the tool section could find was busy with another customer for quite a while ignoring us so I requested 3 seconds of his quality chatting time to just point out where the dust masks were and was made to feel very unwelcomed . My apologies brights Ill make sure to spend my next R2000 elsewhere or another branch of yours that deserves it.Prices of power tools are decent but will have to see I think will just buy online and have delivered In future

Brights has been my DIY partner for a long time. Experienced and friendly staff always ready to help. 2 things that worry me. The parking at Boston is overrun with people who are loitering looking for work, not great and I wont ask my wife to collect anything on my behalf. And secondly, stock management seems to be problem. You spend 5min looking for something only to find that it is nowhere on the shelves. But ask for help and 10 minutes later the stock appears from a back store room. I know what I need and dont want to ask for help because then I need to explain to someone what I need, have them recheck the shelves, check stock on the computer and then have them take a stroll to the store room. Why is the stock in the store room not on the shelves?

Brights is my go-to hardware store. Theyre got everything. A little hard to navigate the seperate stores next to each other, but always a pleasant welcome

I have become accustomed to this shop as I receive discount on most of my purchases.They truly have a point system that has given me great discounts through the years. Yes sometimes I might be paying a little more on some products, but that is when there point system kicks in and you grow your points value. So from me its thumbs up for them. Also I think the staff assisting do know there work well👏👏👍👍

Great service , friendly assistance and reasonably priced if you have a brights card . I ordered nutec boards and spoke the delivery lady there to expedite the order and it was delivered within 3 hours.

Great place with everything you might need. Just a pity that the sections are separate and that you cannot pay for everything in one go. Building things in separate building, pool things in second building and general things in third building!!!😡

Its absolute uncanny how the paint mixers are just there for a salary.Im sorry for incoveniencing you by buying over R3000 worth of paint and ensuring its at least 95% to the swatch. Which apparently your formula system is incapable of doing to even 83% match.Always a horrid experience in this department.

Paint department service is poor. You advertise 6L Plascon Velvaglo online, but have no stock. When I pointed this out to the person serving me in the store, his response was Where was this advertised?I then ordered online (28th) - no acknowledgement of order, wrong tel number on order (I had to make 2 call to find out where my order was) and when the branch called me back it appeared that the order was only placed to the supplier once I queried it this morning!

I received excellent service and advice from this store (I was at another big name group before that and was very frustrated when I realised they gave me the wrong advice)This was a Saturday afternoon. They do not get the modern way of shopping, unfortunately. Till points for instance could not print paper receipt and security check at entrance demands it for exit. Loud noisy music. Unattentavive floor staff. Bad flow in the shop

Brights Boston truly has one of the widest selections one can find at a hardware store and with its building centre right around the corner it is somewhat of a one-stop-shop for building supplies, craft supplies and other household fixtures.It can be a bit crammed at times, and one is not always sure where certain items may be hidden, but its still a great place to find all your hardware supplies and theyre not too pricey.Parking can be a bit problematic since the building is situated in a one-way and with hardware one often buys bulkier supplies which arent easy to lug around.

They didnt have stock of the item I was looking for and I was promised a phone call when stock arrives the worst of it all no-one was available at the counter at the welding section I had to wait 15minutes if not longer before someone finally came to assist me. Seriously in this day and age for such bad service I was shocked.

One of the problems is the departments are separated far apart.So if you go, take note of what is where in that department you enter. The more you go, the more you know.Secondly is their parking.You can allso park in the main road.
