Well stocked shop, pleasant staff at checkout, although not the same with tge gentleman in the paintshop area and the rest of the shop, very LOUD about their support for soccer and rugby teams, can be off putting if you require assistance as it seems as if you are disturbing them.

Horrible, incompetent, unwillingness... how does a hardware store , a BIG brand hardware nonetheless not have something as simple as a 12 volt adapter?When asking the electrical assistance guy for it , he was blown away by what I was asking and had no idea what that was.Rather go do your hardware shopping opposite these guys by the smaller hardware store where the people are much more humble and more competitive pricings

Ahmedia Hardware has most things you likely to require at short notice for home use, however Ahmedia Hardware is expensive, very expensive relative to other hardware stores in the area.I mostly use Elite Hardware in Athlone Industria as they are significantly more reasonably priced (less expensive) than Ahmedia, however Elite may not have the range or scope of products that is required at short notice for DIY home projects.I also find Elite Hardware personnel and staff to be much more friendly and helpful and seem to know there products, its purpose and application whereas Ahmedia Hardware staff when you ask a question, they always have to consult a third party to enquire about the product, its purpose and application.
