It was very busy today it looked like the staff was spread thin , the manager was very nice our server forgot to bring our food and one of my pieces of bacon was burnt to one side which made it tough to cut. Other than that the coffee was good and the wimpy staff were friendly and helpful

I love the wimpy , never ever had a bad meal there at especially the Canal walk branch. Angeline is the best waitress I have ever encountered . Her upbeat and naturally fun personality is phenomenal.

I took my daughter in for Slipper day (she wore her slippers and wristband) but couldn’t redeem the hot chocolate because the extra bit on the end showing the logos came off....!? I feel the manager at this store intentionally made it uneasy for us. You lost customers over a cup of hot chocolate.

The establishment was quiet so service was excellent and efficient.

It took 15 mins to get my simple hot drink. Food 40 minutes later and still waiting. Definitely a place the simple forget about.Now the wait start to pay the bill.

Always top quality food. The service is usually pretty fast even when full. You always know what youre going to get at Wimpy. They cater for everyon. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, steak, Break fast, big range of drinks. Delicious waffles or milkshakes. A great childrens menu. This Wimpy is situated on The ground floor and has wheelchair accessible entrance.

I’ve always loved Wimpy but this is by far the worst branch I’ve ever been to. Terrible service. Grumpy waiter. Table was dirty when we arrived. Hashbrowns soggy and tasted old. Waiter only told us about one drink being out of stock once he brought all our other drinks.

Definitely the dirtiest Wimpy Ive been to. Tables and floors always filthy. The condiment holders are disgusting. You can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Terrible service and poor attitude. Lets hope the new revamped Wimpy is an improvement.

Food was decent, but the service was not only slow, it was inaccurate. Our waitress said that they only serve water in bottles, and we will have to buy one, so we bought a tiny bottle of water for R20. Upon leaving, we found out that we were supposed to insist that we want tap water if that is what we wanted. I would have thought asking for tap water was insistent enough.

I have written a few reviews on the Wimpy chain and it they all remain pretty much the same. Great burgers and other items on the menu are just as good. The burgers are definitely worth a try. The relish is the key I think...

We came to wimpy to get breakfast. Weve been sitting for 35 min and the waiter hasnt come to collect our orders even though we tried to get their attention.So we got up and walked out. We werent the only clients waiting for the waiter to take our orders.Very under staffed.

Waiting almost half and hour for 6 wings, and the place is deserted. Only 3 other tables taken at the time. And then the manager offers me a half baked apology, which clearly is not meant from her look. Im not impressed at all.

The coffee is superb but unfortunately the burger patties were like shoe leather probably because it took so long to come out if the kitchen! Hats off to the waiter though who offered to get another made for us. Not sure if I will be back

The staff were nice and all, but this Wimpy is not in a nice place, right next to Checkers that has a rather chinese/vrot cabbage smell to it - does not induce an appetite much. Otherwise its comfortable enough.

Stay away this is the worst Wimpy to go to the staff are rude and unmanly and stink as if they dont know what deodorant is. Will never ever go there again especially when the waiters are to busy talking to people walking past than looking after there customers and they expect a tip.....never again.

Good value for money and decent service

Service here is always bad. No one receives you and when you seat yourself, no one notices you! This bad service level I have experienced here on more than one occasion. I had to resort to calling the restaurant from my cell to get service - New Years day 2018.

Wimpy all over is over priced and the quality has dropped so badly. Eggs floating in oil, bacon portions that are tiny. Used to be a great family breakfast venue.

Worst service ever!!! Waited an hout and a half after ordering. During this time we had 3 waiters come to us asking if they can take our order?? After we ordered! Manager at least sorted us out, eventually...
