Love the staff, the facilities and the classes, honestly personal experiences are by far better then a traditional gym environment

Amazing gym with super friendly people and Flexible contracts unlike virgin active.

You know when a gym doesn’t try to rob you, well you found it now. No paying for a pool you don’t use or a sauna you could get an STD from. Staff are friendly Covid-19 precautions are not only in place but they will not allow people in when they are at full capacity to protect those from getting this disease. The process of signing up is quick and efficient, also gym members are encouraging. And a a wow factor free coconut coffee to bring home.

I am from Malmesbury and came to Cape Town for te day with my wife. Was looking for a gym in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a place. We were greeted by very friendly staff and was informed that our first training day would be free! Great equipment, clean and overall excellent. I would highly recommend Viva Gym Sunningdale.

Clean gym. Good quality equipment. Friendly environment. Youre made to feel welcome. Not the biggest gym but I would definitely recommend it over the bigger well known names out there.

Best value for money by far! Ive been to all the various gym brands over the years and all have something unique to offer. Viva from a budget perspective is the best value for money.

I have been in this Gym for 2years last year my phones and headset were stolen. I gave them the benefit of the doubt by going back to the same gym and this year my locker was broken, money was stolen from my gym bag. The management made me understand that nothing could be done and they are not liable for what happened. I would highly not recommend you to go there.

From an exercise perspective, you have all the equipment you need and will be able to gym easily without problem. The main appeal here is the low price, as extras such as saunas etc are done away with in order to lower the price.My only criticism would be that certain members of staff seem to forget they arent in highschool anymore, and it isnt too appealing to clients when the staff are laughing and flirting with one another like teenagers.Overall, a good gym experience for a good price, I would reccommend it.

The staff and trainers a very welcoming, since the 4months Ive been training here Ive grown alot, Ive gain muscle, my fitness level is great and my cardio has been awesome eversince. Made me eat and live life healthier.

Great gym, only issue is the over pupulation in the gym, no gym during loadshedding even though there is a lot of people who have joined and paying.

I am extremely happy with Viva Gym. The staff is super friendly, the classes Ive attended are amazing and their sanitizing processes are good (cleaning staff is also constantly cleaning all machines & equipment).

I love this gym but would not sign up again. I love doing classes and unfortunately I work during the day so am unable to do any of them. Can they perhaps not have classes start at 6 instead of 5 30. Most people are still in traffic at that time.

Fantastic gym thats far more affordable than Virgin Active.I believe it just doesnt have a swimming pool and sauna. If those things dont bother you, and you dont plan on needing the Virgin Active option for being able to gym anywhere in the country/world, I see no reason why Viva Gym isnt the best option.Also very kind and helpful staff plus clean and spacious gym area.

Loving this gym. If you like it quiet go anytime before 5pm, from 6pm onwards it’s a bit packed. Very nice and well kept, friendly staff, could do with some better music though. Highly recommended, very affordable

Be careful with these guys. I cancelled my membership but they kept debiting my account for several months till i had to go see them in person. Still no word on my refund.

Wow, what an amazing gym. They offer packages that are very affordable. My children pay from their own pockets, they how reasonable their gym fees are.

Very nice and clean. Equipped with modern machines and equipment is well maintained.Only thing missing is a pool.

Trust me if ever your stuff get stolen none will able to assist. My bag got moved from my locker to the toilets, everything inside was stolen. We went as far as calling the police, when the officers arrived the two people on duty kept referring me to the contract (as it obvious now that such things usually happen there) because none wanted to take responsibility nor assist properly. I would highly recommend anyone to think twice rather than one before joining this gym.

A very good gym, packs all of the equipment you need & more. The facilities are right up there, modern and effective. The staff are friendly and willing to give advice. I would highly recommend choosing Viva as your go-to gym. The pricing is also the best Ive found in Cape Town area especially since (not sure if this will be forever) that it is on a month-to-month basis with no drop-off fee.

I love this gym. Small, intimate, but with all of the state of the art equipment you need. None of the stuff you dont need. Friendly staff. You dont feel like just another number. Their virtual cycling studio is AMAZING.

Moved from VA and no regrets. Bigger free weights section and more emphasis on functional fitness.

The ablution facilities are awesome and they are water conscious. The machines are top of the range but some old school equipment mostly for back training is needed

Nice gym, not all equipment is here...the gym is not too big, but its nice & compact. Free weights go up to 50 but they have a nice area for dynamic training.

Love this gym, especially the Zumba classes with Baile. She brings great energy every time and is always looking for new ways to keep the class motivated, relevant and fun.The equipment is well-maintained and clean and the staff are always friendly. I have been at other gyms before and have never maintained working out but Viva makes things effortless and tailor-made.

The personal trainers should really leave young woman alone while they train and stop harassing them. I’ve heard a similar story come from two ladies I know personally. More then welcome to provide the personal trainers number that they gave the ladies.

My girlfriend trains at Viva as I live in town. I paid R219 for September which I didn’t use so I cancelled that month, you don’t get your money back which is perfectly fine. I was in the area I called in and couldn’t get through for 30min, when I finally did I politely asked if I could could get in just this once so I can train with my gf as paying for the previous month was a waste. The staff member on the phone said she’d ask and call me back. She didn’t. I called she said there is no record of me, I did mention that in the first call that I had canceled. They weren’t able to make an exception despite the circumstances and coldly said I have to pay the R75 for the day. Very disappointed with the service I received. Sad to see as this is a great facility but as changed the way I see this place.

Their rates policy is just ridiculous. Didnt let me pay a two months membership and requiring me to pay a dayly base of 100r per single entrance which is almost 10x the two months membership. Thats just fraudulent and unfair.The gym was also pretty dirty and many people is using machines without towels.

Wanted to join the gym, but you have to fill out all your details just to get an access card. Maybe if someone took the time to explain the setup and the facilities I would have joined?

First day at this gym, it was a very positive experience! Signing up was so easy and everyone is very friendly.

No two ways that this gym is neat and clean but what is frustrating is that they selective on who they want to reprimand when the weights are being dropped. Cancelled my contract because I cant deal with people that is inconsistant and selective. I got the smell of a DT vibe then I left.

Well maintained gym. They have stripped it down the essentials. Friendly trainers, not so packed in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

What a view! I visited as a guest member coming from Fourways in Jhb. Surprisingly at no extra charge. The staff was awesome & the gym has great new facilities. I wish I could stay here permanently then Id become a permanent member
