Fine store but not safe. I cannot get to the front door without being accosted by aggressive beggars. I know life is rough right now but security cannot allow this. It is the closest Woolworths to me but I will go to checkers instead because I don’t feel safe if I park further than 5 meters away from the store. More security please!!

Very limited selection of top end fresh food. Best to shop early morning. Loads of non perishables. No trolleys, loads of beggars outside. Sad situation. Caters mainly for students. Closes early.

If you want to know what a post-apocalyptic Woolworths would be like, go to this store. Lethargic staff, minimal products, 2 or 3 aggressive beggars outside at all times (why does the security allow this?). Its just a very sad experience and you feel like your soul has been extracted by the time you exit the store. Rather shop online and save yourself the pain.

I do all my grocery shopping at Woolworths. This Rondebosh branch is hands down the worst when it comes to not having the complete food range and when it comes to empty shelves. On occasion I pop in to this branch and am always astounded at how poorly stocked it is.

Most Woolworths are always clean and kept very well. There are often specials on products that Im looking to buy. Staff are nice and helpful.

Visiting to Rondebosch ww is like running a gauntlet through beggars because the open back door is less public and protected. Why did you even have a front door built if you refuse to open it but rather put your customers at risk

Has the basics of what youd expect from a Woolworths including the fresh rotisserie chickens not have the same variety as larger stores, but pretty much all you need. It is around the corner from pick n pay and walking distance from checkers, making it ideal to do all your shopping in one trip. Staff is unfriendly, but not rude. Many beggers around the entrance, if you visit be sure to take some spare change with you.I walk there, but seems like it could be tricky to park there. Pretty centraly located.

Great place to get really fresh Woolworths food. Its not that big but its always fully stocked. It still is a Woolworths so prices are a bit steep if youre on a tight budget. I mainly buy milk and fruits as its healthier and Im always guaranteed a certain level of freshness.

Serving mainly the student market of UCT, this has not stopped them from stocking a wide variety of food, beverages and groceries for every taste. Recommended for quality and freshness.

Woolworths is a high end grocery store and all of the food is so fresh and delicious. The food is pricier than your average grocery store, but you definitely get what you pay for. The lines can be long, but everyone is friendly and helpful.

Convenient for students but very limited space if you want to do a trolley worth of shopping. Only basket trolleys are available and the space at the cashiers is very limited if youre trying to navigate through the check out with a trolley! This has to be the worst Woolworths ever. Not only does it not have a single trolley, but it also only ever has 2 tellers and no queueing space. Popped in their today to get dinner ingredients. The shelves were basically bare. I thought on my feet for plans b, c and d and this shop did not stock any of the alternatives either (no chicken sausage, no fresh salmon, no pepper sauce frozen kiev, no pesto, very small range of pasta, no frozen mash, no humus). Ridiculous!!!

The main reason why I love woolworths is, apart from the good quality food, is the friendly service. But some of the ladies working the tills at this store just seem grumpy all the time, it wont kill you to smile.

This is not really a Woolworths. Thats an optical illusion created by Woolworths signage and the odd item of Woolworths stock on the shelves.Seriously though. This is possibly the worst Woolworths I have ever been to. The disaster starts at the unusual and confusing store layout - the line at the tellers is extremely cramped and when busy basically blocks the end isle entry point as well as some of the freezersThe staff on the tills are in my opinion rude, grumpy and downright unprofessional. They dont greet and they talk to each other non stop in their language, but the lady behind me who was familiar with their dialect said that they were complaining about all the rich white European woman who own land that belongs to Africans.
