After spending thousands of Rands at this store with great staff and service my parents werent so lucky. They bought wings R43 at the deli only to discover it was dried out so much that they couldnt eat it. My Dad called the sore twice, which was in vain. Nobody came back. I made numerous calls spoke to Johan. I was told to bring it back. This is unacceptable customer service. I dont want money back just replace the wings. R43 is a lot of money for a pensioner. I wont be visiting this store anymore....

Always lovely to shop at OKFoods. Whenever they have specials you know that there will always be stock not like Checkers. Always have to get raincheck as never have stock on specials.... Lovely and friendly staff too...

OK foods oakdale had a nice special, everything I wanted but they had no stock of their fish oil and toothpaste that was on special and they dont have what some shops call a rain check. I was a bit disappointed

Good service but sometimes close their doors 5 to 10 min before its actually closing time and their is no chance bargaining with the security which is very frustrating and bad business practice especially when your a regular! Thats why I rather support small businesses now days because of the personal touch that small businesses have. Its people talking and dealing with people that get to know each other. Much more pleasant experience!

MUCH TO MUCH CHIN GUARD MASK carriers in this store. Including MANAGEMENT!!After the announcement of the alleged 3rd wave of Covid, etc; following evening in OK FOODS OAKDALE. Standing in the Q. Patiently waiting my turN ... Watching the cashier in her proceeding of cashing and applying NO COVID requirement for every next client. My turn arrives. I ask the cashier to kindly clean the counter. She stands up with hands in pocket telling me she has not got a cloth. I take the dispenser myself, spray it all over. Well she has not got a cloth. I then ask another cashier to please assist me with the use of a cloth. She stands hands in pockets watching me clean the counter off. To much effort to fetch a cloth, ask for one , or clean counter.IT IS NOT THE PUBLICS DESIRE ITS THE PRESIDENTS MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS!!

Its a small store, well organised, well lit, always clean. The staff is friendly , especially at the bakery. Love their croissants and paninis and doughnuts, especially their jam donuts. (which sadly the baker doesnt always bake). The prices are reasonable. They dont stock all the brands and everything I need, but it is always my go to supermarket for all my basic needs. Love going to this OK foods!

It is a nice shop with a good variety of stock, easy parking and also an OK Liquor Store. Unfortunately the experienced was a bit marred by too excessive prices that are a bit higher than the normal norm.
