The hospital is small to support Khayelitsha and surrounding areas, let alone shortage of staff including doctors. This in turn makes the service poor, i.e while was there emergency section human blood was lying all over the floor an I couldnt stand it.In the spirit of UbUNTU this hospital needs to be grown in size and staff members

Yhooo khayelitsha hospital sucks..andinabhongo urhulumente wethu I wonder uyayazi ingxaki esikuyo ukuqala kwi security uyokutsho ko nurse abawuthandi umsebenzi wabo shame. I think they need workshops to learn more about humanity.Behleli nje balinde ukupoxa abantu even sowubulisa bakujonga nje. Feeling hurt cause there are people abayithandayo I nursing but bavalelwe ngaba bangayithandiyo

This is a beautifully clean hospital.. Looks like a private facility.. Staff are highly qualified..Remember, during the pandemic. Everyone is busy. They dont have time to answer the calls. They have patients to attend to.

Our dear friend was diagnosed with brain cancer two weeks ago at Tygerburg Hospital, they sent her home. Two days ago her Son called us to say that she cant walk, cant talk and cant use her hands. He called the hospital and asked for an ambulance. He called again that evening and he was told they will collect his Mother the following morning. He went to work and when he returned he was shocked to see his Mother was still at home. I called and received a reference number and I was assured she would be collected. I received a call this afternoon from her Son, she is still at home. I called the same number and there was no answer, I tried 6 different options on the board and there was no answer. Eventually after many calls someone answered, I received another reference number and I only hope that this time she will be collect ... I can not believe this lack of service at a hospital and especially on the emergency service department, this is totally disgusting!!!!!!!! This hospital deserves no stars at all and is in desperate need of training!!!!! No ambulance Daphnes Son eventually organised transport and took Daphne to Tygerberg Hospital today. Where is the care what is happening in this country, this is shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
