RoccomammasThe service is quick and the workers are very friendly. They give you a checklist and a pen that you can select and customise your order. I tried a couple of their burgers all are very good. The chips are fresh and crispy. For ribs, the one with peri peri sauce was cooked well but the one with BBQ sauce was burned. They replaced it for me. Prices are reasonable.For milkshake I recommend the chocolate, Oreo, or peanut butter. Tried the new custard flavor and I wasnt a fan.

The SCHWEET SUNDAYS lived up to the value for money. They were very busy with many Uber orders and then a fairly busy restaurant. Unfortunately the waffle wasnt amazing. It was cold and too much sauce but the shakes were amazing, really enjoyed it. The service was slow it this is definitely because of how full the place was and of course all the take away orders they were preparing. It was definitely value for money and a nice Sunday afternoon treat - no need to clean any dessert dishes. Will be back for another one of these soon.

After my first visit and bad experience, the manager and owner Jana were quick to contact me to address my complaint. They handled it swiftly and professionally and offered a full meal replacement for myself and my wife. My waiter was captain today, he has a welcoming and chatty vibe about him and its a pleasure being served by him. The food was much better and fairly, I hereby do a second review with an adjusted star rating. Thank you! PS: try the sour cherry unicorn shake 😜

I had the worst experienceI ordered 1/2 kilo ribs and the combo with 16wings and friesUpon getting my ribs my first bite of it was a piece of chicken liver ?! (There aren’t even chicken livers on the menu though so what is it being used for? )When the manager was inform he explain to me that the ribs were being cooked next to the chicken livers and that’s how this happened ( but what exactly are the chicken livers used since it’s not on the menu)I obviously did not want the ribs any longer (As I didn’t eat it as that was my first bite all that was done is it was taken off my bill as it should have been because I didn’t eat it and who in their right mind would if you first bite was a piece of chicken liver )I was so disgusted and nauseous but all I got was an apologyNo compensation nothing and to top it all off when I requested to speak to the manager before I left he apparently was not there anymore as he left

New favourite place. Great promo deals. And meals are filling. Love the fact of Jenga game for adults to.have fun not only kids definitely family venue. Pity they dont take bookings and the waiting period to be seated is long be prepared to wait an hour or 2 or 3 on busy nights.

My father, brother and I went here for milkshakes after a long day at home affairs.Sat outside as it was a beautiful day and I could smoke.Absolutely loved the freak shakes. Every sip/bite was an experience and definitely worth the price.Service was phenomenal, Afrika and friendly and knowledgeable.Will definitely return soon, if not to this branch, definitely one of the other ones as food prices look very reasonable and the food I saw looked delicious.

Live in Harrington Street. Two mins away and it took you an hour to produce my food only to have it delivered cold. Even the driver complained about your service. You went from one of my favourites to the worst!Two weeks later and still nothing.

I have honestly never experienced such disgusting unprofessionalism as I did tonight. After telling a delivery man to collect, he spent a total of ~1.5h waiting around, eventually getting told to come back later... twice. After the delivery ma reached out to me, asking me to phone, you refused. I called the delivery man and you rejected taking it. THEN with your incredible skills in customer service, sent the order, one item: Cold chips... Just the one out of three. Clearly good at maths too?Heres some maths advice:1 business + 1 Covid-strained industry + your professionalism = -1 regular customer. Figure it out! Its not going to work out! A single message would have changed this completely this. Disgusting form.

First experience at RocoMamas. Id obviously heard people singing their praises and I had to try it for myself as a last lunch out before Ramadan. I was not blown away. It reminded me of another burger joint in Cape Town called Brocka. I had the ribs and strawberry daiquiri - ribs were nice (theyve got nothing on Spurs ribs) and the daiquiri was watery and lacked flavour. The ambiance was good with really friendly and helpful staff (reheated my ribs for me). Overall, Id probably stick with Spurs Ribs in the future.

Ive had the wings and my boyfriend had the ribs. We also had loaded fries mine came with bacon and cheese fries and everything was perfect.

EDIT 04/01/20: We returned to give it another go. We had burgers, tried both chicken and beef burgers. The chicken burger was nice. Crispy batter and a few complexed tastes. The beef is a smash pattie and taste like the golden arches we know all too well. Quite underwhelming for the price taking that into consideration. Opted for a Tiki milkshake. It was good. It is a black cherry flavor topped with fresh pineapple and cherries.Went on a Sunday. Friendly staff, clean and modern. Efficient service thanks to the self service paper menu/self order provided on arrival. Varied menu ranging from burgers to desert.We had waffles and milkshakes which were very tasty. However, the waffles were an overkill. Neither of us could finish the full portions we had ordered as there was way too much of everything and was not enjoyable. We ordered the nutella- banana and cookies and cream. Both were drowned in chocolate and the nutella waffle was more so waffle on nutella as it felt as if half a jar had been used.Glancing around, the food portion was quite small for the price.

First experience at rocomamas and it sure will be my last. Ordered online, got to the store 10 minutes before pick up time. When my family and I arrived we waited but the waiting time on the app increased by an hour. My husband asked the two staff members behind the counter whats happening and was told that bolt pick ups were delayed by 1 hour. Frustrated and hungry with my two kids my husband and I had to wait. I eventually asked for the 3rd time what was happening with my order at 8:10pm(hour later after ordering) I wanted to know should my family and I leave because we had actual plans before curfew. The waiter whom I asked about my order had attitude (I asked her how long I am still going to wait and asked if its needed for me to leave and return, this was before 8pm) her response was, I dont work in the kitchen, I just saw you and came up to you to ask what your order is that youre waiting for. I cannot understand how your restaurant operates like this. I responded with the same attitude she gave me and needed to insist on a time frame because she said you can leave and come back. I dont know how long it will take.Pathetic experience is all I can think about, we got our order and left. When I checked it in the car my one meal was incomplete (strips had no chips) the wings were Luke warm, the chips that came with the initial order was warm too and to top it off I ordered a kiddies burger without cheese as my daughter does not eat cheese but what we received was a cheese burger!! Imagine my complete annoyance trying to scrape off metled cheese on a smashed burger!!!After waiting more than an hour one would expect to atleast receive fresh hot food that is correct but instead we received exactly what the restaurant portrayed which was a complete mess.

I submitted a poor review for a wrong order delivered. I was contacted within hours of my complaint. I received a personal call and the matter was amiacably resolved beyond my expectations. Great customer care action by Sean.

1. We ordered bombs. The bombs arrived cold and the cheese inside was curdled. The manager agreed that it was not edible and we refused to eat it.2. We ordered starters (nachos, onion rings) for the table. The starters only arrived with the main course, which then made it difficult to even consider eating it because how on earth can you eat all of that in one go. The point of a starter is to arrive to eat while you wait for your main course.3. When the burgers arrived, every single burger was cold. One burger was ordered to be well done and it arrived pink.4. The nachos arrived with cream cheese that was ice cold as if it was straight from the fridge. It was wholly inedible. To make matters worse, THERE WAS A HAIR INSIDE THE NACHO CREAM CHEESE. Management was notified and did not seem too phased about the hair, though he did apologise.By far one of the worst - if not the worst - restaurant experience. Honestly, I don’t eat fancy food and all I need is a cheeseburger and fries to satisfy me, but apparently serving edible food here is not one of the restaurant’s strengths.

Very bad unprofessional service. The delivery man came with wrong order and kept saying its not hes fault. He brought my order 30 minutes later. It was opened by another person before it arrived. I asked What he will do because the order was opened by another person and what of Covid 19. Its dangerous if someone else opened it. All he said is there nothing he can do and its not hes fault. I didnt even receive the extra onion rings which I paid for

What a wonderful experience I had except for the drama outside which was beyond anyones control. I got to eat what I ordered prepared fantastically and presented in a way that when you looked at it all you could do is want to scoff it down. It was a first for me in this establishment and I can gladly say that I have already been back and will gladly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Awesome stuff guys. Nestled amongst many other popular cafes and bars, RocoMamas Harrington has an awesome vibe and great service. Within the 2 minutes we waited to be seated, 4 staff members asked if we had been assisted and were eager to help. Their G-shakes are great, and the fries are top notch too. Overall, a great experience! Especially on a First Thursday evening!

Extremely full, constant waiting period for seating as well as for food but the waitors are friendly and reassuring.

Had take out from this chain for the first time when on business in Johannesburg. Order from Melrose branch was spectacular. When ordering the very same product from this Cape Town branch it was appalling. No spice in the spicy coleslaw, portions are not standard. Condiments advertised was not present on the burgers and burger patties that are wafer thin was not even caramelized in the slightest. YOU SHOULD CLOSE YOUR DOORS!!!

I enjoyed my brunch today with the excellent service from Captain, he was so friendly and professional. I ordered a chicken Ceasar salad and I asked for an add of a boiled egg to the salad, I know it was too much for me to ask for but he made sure I got what I asked for, for me thats when a waiter knows how to please his customers. One of the best burger joints. I love the ordering method where you can order by writing on the menu. There are also promo burgers which changes occasionally which gives more variety of burgers to choose from. We ordered one promo Southern fried chicken burger, triple beef burger, large fries and 8 wings with blue cheese dip. Both burgers were amazing and flavourful. Triple beef was a bit too much beef but its my own fault for being greedy. Very crunchy fries, and the wings were tender. Overall, great experience. This place deserves 5 stars.

It was nice, enjoyed the atmosphere, but the staff was just plain lazy. There were only two guests there, .me and boyfriend included, and they took 15 min with our drinks and another half an hour with our food.

Honestly had the best service from Captain, one of the waiters at the branch at CPT Harrington, would highly recommend this place for friendly service and great customer service from the staff, definitely ask for Captain when you step in

RocoMamas aint what it used to be anymore. We ordered in from mr delivery and I was shocked as to how their patties used to look and how it is now. RocoMamas use to have the best real thick patties. Now theyre just like steers. People pay for Good food, stop skimping on the meat. RocoMamas HAD the best burgers in town. I dont feel that way any more
