I took in a pair of shoes to be repaired by the store. When I received the shoes back, I took two steps in them before the heel broke again. My dad took the shoes into the store again and asked them to please fix them properly. To which the owner replied that the shoes were broken by me after being repaired and therefore its not their problem. My dad then returned to the store to ask for a refund, to which they were again argumentative. When I phoned the store to ask that they refund me or repair the shoes, both the owner and his wife put the phone down on me. I was not shouting, swearing or being rude - I simply asked them to comply with the consumer protection act. As the other review states, it is a small amount of money - however its about the principle of the matter and being ethical.
