I can strongly recommend Dwane (Manager) and Chris (Technician) at C M in Long Street for their brilliant service. Chris sorted out a massive problem that I thought would remain unsolvable, yet he somehow managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Absolutely magical and much appreciated! Well done!

I was quoted just under R1800 for my SSD to be upgraded, not only was I told by Chris (the technician) that Ill received a discount on the labour price because I bought my laptop there as well as upgraded my ram there but I was also told that it would take 24 hours for it to be done. After 4 days passed I assumed it was ready, went there and was told that they didnt have any SSDs in stock and that they were only receiving it the day after which meant itll be ready in 2 days, really annoying as there was no communication whatsoever. The day I collected Chris handed payment over to his colleague to do and I was told that it would cost me just over R2100 I told the colleague what my initial quote was, he then went to the back area where I could hear soft whispers. The colleague came back gave me no explanation, took my R2200 cash gave me my change and that was that! What a disappointing experience especially because I was a regular customer and always went back even for other smaller things. I am immensely put off and will never return!

Living in the City Bowl, this shop in Long street is the most practically accessable computer dealership around.They have several branches dotted around the Cape and this branch has always been able to supply anything i have needed.For years.I have purchased cables, adapters, hard drives, display cards and recently even found the best deal on an entry level laptop.The staff are very helpful and friendly.When i took the machine back after a day, i was helped instantly and left feeling very grateful for a business where customers are treated well.

Have not had service like that in a long time, nothing was too much effort! Will definitely be my store of choice for any computer related products.

I took my Lenovo Ideapad for a fix since it wasnt turning on. Christopher was very informative and helpful in making sure they discover what the problem was. The motherboard was the problem. Unfortunately, they couldnt fix it. But, they recommended me to Complete -IT. I would definitely recommend them for being professional, helpful and informative.

I was in Cape Town this summer and we sent my girfriends laptop to fix in there. They told her it is not fixable and made her pay 700 rand for the checkup. When we came in Europe we checked the laptop and it was easily fixable but computer mania had stolen her hard disk. Now they are not giving the money back. They are complete rats.

They dont always have everything, for example I wanted a new 2.5 inch SSD but they did not have the bracket to fit it into a 3.5 inch space, but over the years I have been going there, they have been very helpful setting things up for my particular requirements.

Well priced good variety of tech stuff

I took a functioning laptop into the Long Street branch to be upgraded... I was told that the RAM could be upgraded but not the storage. I told them to go ahead with the RAM upgrade. When I went to collect it I was told it wasn’t back yet from the workshops. This went on for almost a month. After 2 more trips to collect it and many phone calls assuring me it would be at the store... still not ready for collection. Eventually was told that the motherboard was blown and I need to pay R2500 to have it fixed.The laptop was working 100% when I took it into them and now it’s useless... unless I pay them R2500. Asked to speak to the manager and got absolutely nowhere. Not interested in my problem.Even the manager at the head office had a StuffYou attitude to me when I told his I was very dissatisfied.This kind of treatment of customers is disgusting as I am worse off now than before I made the BIG mistake of using CONputer Mania.

My laptop was at Computer Mania in Montague Gardens.because I had a blank screenI was told first it was the filter,they clean it,A week later it was,you spilt coffee on keybroad,then I had the same blank screen I week later, they had my laptop for a week and half I phonedthem, they told me I need a new mother board,anyway I when to someone else and now I got my laptop back WORKING again,and you have one good sales man there and his name is Chris he is allways helpfull.
