My visit to Vida e caffe Strand lived up to what I have come to expect from this top coffee house.Very friendly and welcoming staff.Large range of mainly healthy food options and MUFFINS which are well displayed.Some food items a bit pricey,but excellent VIDA quality that the consumer is used to.This Vida does not disappoint and is a highlight of any visit to the Strand.Clean and hygienic.Wide variety of top quality coffee.Ample seating.Spacious.Neat.Views over Strand beach.

Based on my Vida-experiences, this is my favorite one. They have friendly staff and their food is fresh. Cappuccinos are on-point and my green juice was truly delicious. They were not skimpy with the ingredients and I could taste the flavors.

I go there at least 2 a week, but today service was terrible.Waited so long and people who ordered after me got coffee before I got mine.

Very friendly and on the ball staff. The shop is clean and you can enjoy the ocean views from inside or outdoors.

Breakfast special is great, R 40 for coffee and a toasted sandwich (3 cheeses or chicken mayo). Love the bread they use for the toasted sandwiches. Also, top up on a selection of pods to take home.

I have had a couple of good experiences and a couple of horrible mishaps... I once ordered a frio and got sour milk (to their credit, when I phoned in to report it their regional manager drove to my house and hand delivered a new fresh frio). My wife ordered a dirty chai latte a week back and we got a normal chai latte.

Really great place one of the only places on beach road with wifi, not very fast but it works. Thanks for all the millions of Americanos and smiles! Very friendly staff :)

Not very happy. Coffee was cold. Did not have avocado. Did not have spring onions for quattro sandwich. Gave me a toasted cheese sandwich with the cheese not melted. Ice cold. And when I complained the girl at the till rolled her eyes at me. Never go there again.

One of the vida’s with the best views an serious potential. Service is friendly but always slow, full shop or empty shop always slow. The system is often slow or struggles with WiCodes. This morning they ran out of Almond Milk by 9am. The cleanliness is also not near what we’ve experienced at other Vida’s. Come on Vida - the potential is there make it work for you 💪

Your store in Beach rd, Strand needs to shape up on their housekeeping. I’ve been going to this shop weekly for more than 2 years now, and it is slowly deteriorating, and sad to see as I really enjoyed going here first thing the morning.Your baristas are super busy, you need to have dedicated manpower to uphold hygiene of this store

Shop was busy but the girls was very friendly, very fast, great quality iced coffee. Best service I had in a long time. Well done! Will go there often

Had to meet with a client. Need to sit a a plug to plug in my laptop. Table was filty not wiped clean after the previous visitor to the table. The staff member saw me standing there and she was busy cleaning the window. I had to ask her, pls clean the table. She looked at me with that look and wiped the table with the same cloth that she was cleaning the window.Not wiping very clean at all. Still mug stains left on the filthy table.Staff not friendly at all.I just ask myself when will staff members learn that each client walking into their coffee shop actually contributes to their salary....Hence the bad rating for Strand Vida E Cafe, and their staff.

Was very surprised by the quality of service from the staff at the store. Very friendly and patient considering I had no idea what to order. Got a coffee and quick breakfast and was happy with the results. Not world shattering but not bad either, no real complaints. And thats a positive in my book.

Poor service, they are shockingly loud... got my order wrong after I said my order to her thrice, then withheld my change from the wrong order she rang up. Ridiculously overpriced beverages and food. Its so overrated.

So disappointing. The staff are incompetent, forgetting items ordered. Also shook tip jar at us while we were paying.Stale cinnamon bun and inedible bagels servedOverall a shocking experience. Definitely not recommended

Awesomly prepared coffee. It’s great to have soy milk at no extra charge and also to have almond as an option. They have a wide selection of coffee beverages to choose from as well as wide variety of snacks and food. Location is perfect as it is really close to the beach.

Their coffee and smoothies are delicious. Havent tried their pastry yet. On the negative side, theyre not cheap (because good quality doesnt come cheap?) and theyre noisy (staff are very friendly, but noisy. Maybe its part of the image of a cool Spanish barista ?). But then Im nitpicking. Obrigado !!

This store has a great location. Vida e caffe used to be my favourite chain of coffee shops for 8 years easily - I saw myself as a Vida Ambassador. Unfortunately there are absolutely NO consistency anymore - I have sent several emails over the last years, but its just going from bad to worse. A flat white or cappuccino consist mostly out of froth and a few milliliters of coffee. I just buy from them if I really have no other choice.

Always good coffee. Place is a little under cleaned though. Dust your equipment off pls and give everything a good wipe down.Had a toasted sandwich and the coriander was full of grit. Wasnt washed off properly.Staff are amazing and friendly as always.Just looks like management is a little lacking here

Delicious drinks hot and cold. They know how to make coffee and i love that I got marshmallows in my hot chocolate 😂 the food is very fresh and super tasty. The menu is nice, just a bit expensive.

Always love stopping here for a quick coffee, staff are quick and always energetic and happy to serve you. The coffee and options are also great to choose from.
