Somebody said *you must taste their waffles*, it melt in your mouth. I thought now let me go there and taste their waffles, because I dont like waffles. And I was not surprise, it really dissappear in your mouth - it was delicious and for sure will go there again. It is not big inside and you can eat anything - it is like a real restaurant and coffee shop. Across the beach road, is parking.

The best waffles in town.I drive from the southern suburbs to go here and I never regret it. I usually have a breakfast waffle, then another waffle(sweet) and take home another waffle. This is how good the waffles are. Prices are great and coffee is decent. Such a lovely location. Friendly staff. And just overall a winner.

Fluffy, sweet, and wonderful waffles which were made amazingly fast. The chai milkshake was magnificent, too. Great place for a family afternoon snack.

This is a real local gem. Located right on the beach road they offer beautiful scenery, an intriguing menu and a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and makes you feel right at home. I must say with the variety of waffles 🧇 to choose from on the menu,makes it extremely difficult to choose what to have. The result........I always walk away super satisfied and never disappointed about my choice.

As first time visitors we werent surprised that this place is so popular. Fortunately we arrived just before the crowds (there was a continuous flow of people) and chose a great seat looking out at the ocean/mountain/promenade. The food was delicious and speedily brought out before we could say Belgian Waffle House. The service was pleasant and all the staff so friendly. Our waitress Vatiswa (spelling) was wonderful! Im bringing people back here for sure! Worth the drive 30min drive.

I have never tasted waffle so tasty and light before. The batter it is made of is very light and crispy. This waffle shop is popular and every time I go there, there is a short waiting time to be seated, showing the popularity. If my weight permits, I will visit it often.

Super delicious waffles I had the breakfast waffle with egg, bacon and cheese, which was nice, but I think if you want to do these waffles justice, you need to have a dessert waffle. So light and fluffy and crispy at the same time. Friendly service and great location, right in front of the beach.

I have had waffles in New York and Antwerpen, however, the Belgian waffles in the Strand, Cape Town has been the best. Amazing experience and the best service from Ewie imaginable.

Belgian waffles are crispy on the outside and soft inside. Our waffles were to die for. There are a wide range of toppings to choose from. We will definitely visit again.

Wow! My wife.convinced me to take the 30min trip to Strand to try out the Belgian Waffle House. I am really glad that she persisted. The waffles are awesome! Not too sweet...just perfect. Totally different from any other waffle I have had. The owner is friendly and awesome. A really good experience. I highly recommend visiting and even making an effort to drive to Strand just for this experience.

Love this place! Great waffles, friendly staff, right on the beach. I have been here 4 times and will definitely be going back again. Have even sat there for a few hours with my laptop to work and they arranged me a seat near a plug point to charge my battery. Lovely artwork on the walls too. Definitely recommend!

Not nice at all. Not using proper quality ingredients. Everything is watered down, the toppings and the waffle mix. My family was very disappointed. Want a proper decent tasting waffle go to Gelato Mania. Even proper gelato ice cream. Come on guys, up your game we know it’s strand, but you do get visitors from other suburbs.

The best waffles you will find anywhere! Fabulous range of savory or sweet toppings, but the waffles are so perfect ( light, crispy outside and fluffy inside) that they stand on their own as a treat! Wonderful establishment, clean and well run. Evie and her team provide fast and friendly service and a truly enjoyable experience. Oh, and they make pancakes too 😉

Im sure they have better options but I took the lemon curd flavour waffle and you could clearly taste it was a pre mix poorly combined. Very disappointing outcome. I will come back to try different flavours. I do not recommend the lemon curd

Went there on a cloudy day and it was perfect to sit in the little cafe and stuff my face with their amazing waffles. I had a bacon, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese waffle PLUS asked the waiter for caramel sauce just because I can. What a combo! My friend had a salad and feta cheese type waffle which was really good too. Also, if you are not up for a waffle, they serve really good toasted sandwiches too! Very clean place with great, friendly staff. Looks out to the ocean, very close to the beach and is the perfect place to sit, read a book and indulge. Cant wait to go back.

Cosy place with nice paintings on the walls. 5 single tables and a few lager tables. Nice background music so its easy to have a conversation. Comfortable chairs and a clean environment. Parking available near by for about 12 rand for an hour. No wifi on the premises. Staff is friendly. Waffles are light so great if you want a little treat!Overall: delicious waffles and a lovely place.

I had my coffee in 2 minutes, my waffle after 4 minutes. Friendly service. Good value. Not shy on Nutella. I didnt even plan to come to this place, I just walked past it on my travels.This place exceeded every expectation I had. The lightest, crispiest waffle that I have ever eaten. I will make a point to come back and support this restaurant whenever Im in the area.Why cant more restaurants just stick to something simple and get it right every time like The Waffle House?? 5 stars!
