By far, the best experience I have ever had the opportunity to have. Never have I received such amazing service, food, and atmosphere all in one night. If it were possible, I would give the Brick Lane Eatery a 10/5 star review.Also, Jamal, our waiter, was by far the friendliest, kindest, and most attentive waiter I have experienced in dining. I highly recommend the nachos, mac and cheese balls, chicken stack, all the incredible biscuits and coffees available.One more point Id like to make, I simply said I was planning on having a date night, and the manager and our waiter decided theyd spruce up our romantic evening by placing petals and lighting candles to make our dining experience that much better.I will always recommend the Brick Lane Eatery, for dates, family get togethers, coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and any and all kinds of things where people eat.Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!!!!!

This spot is a little hidden away but well worth going to look for it. Great menu and staff. The location is peaceful and refreshing. It is also a dog friendly restaurant with treats for your dog on the menu. Chilly poppers are great, they pack a punch and are full of cheese. They are also providing a space for small business to sell goodies. They also have a games section for you and your friends to enjoy.

Such great good, very efficient service and wonderful service. Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we all agree that well be back for seconds. Xx

Discovered this hidden gem back in March for my friends birthday and i literally started living there ever since their pasta dishes and that moist decadent chocolate cake have my entire heart. The service is exceptional, the food just as great and the beauty is unmatched. LOVE the blankets because i get to enjoy the beauty outside whilst keeping warm. the ambience in the evening is perfect for a date night.

I have the privilege of lunching weekly at my favourite establishment and week after week, the meals are consistently delicious. Efficient and friendly service is enjoyed at all times from all the staff and particularly from Stewart. Stewart anticipates needs and meets them effectively and always with a pleasant smile and professional manner. Stewart’s service is attentive without being intrusive. All in all an extraordinary experience to find such passion in the Restaurant industry, especially during current times. Amazing Service and Food! We had our baby blessing lunch at Brick Lane. The restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us. Food was delicious and service from start to finish was exceptional. I would definately recommend them for any small function.

After a lovely dog walk around century city we popped in for breakfast. The usual COVID protocols were done quickly and the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. There is a large outside area under the trees and an upstairs area. The view overlooks the canals and it is In a peaceful setting. There is a tiny sandy patch for the kids to keep themselves busy. BIG PLUS - the place is very pet friendly with the owner coming out and greeting our pop goes with soft biscuits and lots of attention.. My cappuccino was lovely with a good head of creamy froth. The flapjack stack was great and my mini breakfast also. Payment was quick and painless. The toilet was super clean and light. Lots of parking available. We will be back...

This eatery is exquisite. Too bad I didnt take pictures. but it is the perfect place to rest and relax for brunch or breakfast. You can even bring your doggies as they have a dog menu. I suggest this for family and friend outings. Just beautiful and the service is wonderful too.

Lovely little restaurant, a hidden gem if you dont know where to go. We arrived late in the evening and the staff were so kind to serve us even though we were the only patrons. They stayed chipper right up until we asked for our bill at closing time. The food is really tasty and reasonably priced. Pet-friendly too and even has a little menu for the fur babies!

Hosted my sons baptism lunch in the upstairs area. Ruan, Hoosein and the rest of the staff were so accomodating and helpful and the food was excellent. The chocolate brownie for dessert is a real star and all my guests loved it. The setting is so child friendly and the staff even arranged for a table to be placed in the toilet to facilitate baby changing. We would go there again and again.

This place is beautifully located in a private area in Century city which is perfect for a date. Their burgers are amazingly smoky. Theyre huge on vegan preferences too so if you looking for a vegan place then check BLE out. They do have non vegan food selections on the menu too.The staff is super friendly, there are so many spots to choose and eat. I chose the terrace and what a beautiful setting it was. To top it off they have Wednesday buy 1 get the cheapest one free special, Mon-Fri from 4pm-7pm happy hour specials too. Apparently their their drinks go well with poppers.So be sure to check this one out.👌

The location is absolutely amazing, their food is so delicious and can also be for vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant is dog friendly and child friendly along with a sand pit for the kiddies and a nice quiet spot in the nature with a beautiful view. There are so many cute features, you should definitely go there.

Amazing setting, great friendly service, good food and reasonably priced. Will defs be heading back. A hidden gem in a concrete jungle. So serene along the canal with sound of birds chirping taking a dip in the waters, and friendly dogs wagging about. The food was so tasty and filling, and a wide selection for every palette.

A fantastic little gem in century city. It has a awesome setting with inside and outside seating next to a small pond/river. The food is great and they even serve waffles :) There is a small sand pit to keep the little ones entertained and away from digital devices. The venue is wheelchair accessible and the parking is close just watch that you dont park in any of the residential bays. Bathrooms are just out by the front door.

Okay, let me be clear... this place has every potential to be absolutely amazing. The menu is awesome, the location, food and atmosphere stellar. The manager is a hoot and great host, but what let them down today was service level from the waitstaff. The waitstaff really carry a lot of weight in terms of customer experience and, I know we have good days and bad days, but today... this review is for my first-time experience today. Hopefully well go back one day for a better experience... till then... 3 stars guys.

First impressions matter, and unfortunately I wasnt impressed.My fiance and I each ordered a sandwich, together with drinks. After 45 minutes of waiting, we still hadnt received our food. We were a bit pressured for time, and didnt think it would take so long for two sandwiches. The waiter apologized and said the reason for the delay, was that there was a big party of people at another table, and the kitchen was busy with their orders. Fair enough, however, why not tell us before we even sit down to order that there would be a delay?Eventually our food arrived, and I was given the wrong food order. The food order I was given turned out to be double the price of what I had originally ordered. My fiances order was correct. Due to being pressured for time, I decided not to send it back and just accept it.When it came time to paying the bill, the waiter also mistakenly overcharged us on the credit card machine by R100. He did apologize and refunded us the R100 in cash. We also informed him that he had got the one order wrong, for which he also apologized.Overall it was a frustrating experience, and it would seem that the staff need to be trained better. As a start, when a customer places an order, the waiter should right down the order and repeat it afterwards to ensure that it is correct before sending it through to the kitchen.The manageress/hostess was very nice and friendly though.

Really enjoyed the December special. Offers a 2 or 3 course meal for R150/R180 which is very affordable. Offers variety of meal options for the special on the menu that includes a complimentary glass of wine.Only downfall for me is the happy hour drinks special. Only CBC larger on tap available as a beer choice for the special. Normal price (without happy hour) for the beer on the menu is R35 but during happy hour its R30? Not much of a special if you ask me. 🤔Nevertheless, nice and peaceful environment. Good staff and friendly service.

A place with fantastic aesthetic at a beautiful location, but with unfortunately disappointing food. The toasted sandwiches, even the most expensive of them, are simply not of good quality or construction. It was nice to see a place with a side menu for dogs, and to see that the restaurant was pet friendly, but the food is just not worthwhile.

Lovely restaurant. I have been a few times and everything on the menu is great, but special mention must go to their sweet potato fries and chicken popcorn. Nicely hidden away and very peaceful surroundings.

We stopped for a late breakfast after a lovely walk round Intaka Island and were very impressed. Breakfast bun and croissant delish and toasted sandwiches on the tastiest bread.

This place is amazing. If I could give more stars I would. The location, setting and ambiance are perfect! The first time we ate here was a cold evening, and there was a fireplace going which was amazing. There is also an outside area for the warmer days.The food is exceptional! Their BLE veggie burger is amazing, one of the best burgers Ive ever had, and they have other amazing plant-based options.The best part for me is the service. The servers are always friendly and patient, and the hosts are very welcoming and just great people. Great conversation, great homely feel and absolutely amazing food, this has quickly become one of my favourite places to eat!

The experience was pretty bad. Service was terrible. The restaurant was completely understaffed. No one came to our table without being asked to come to the table. I might have been unfortunate to go on such a busy night. After waiting almost half an hour we finally called someone to the table to take our order. Ordered the spicy chicken pasta and the chicken salad. Both sounded good on the menu but the actual food didnt have everything the menu said it would. Also got the peperdew poppers with spiced mayo sauce as a starter but it came long after the mains. The live music was a good though.

Lovely venue however they were totally overwhelmed and after an hour of waiting we decided to leave without any food. Great disappointment.
