What a relaxing and beautiful venue. They do wine tasting, coffee tasting, barista training and a number of other coffee courses. They have an art gallery and even people giving painting classes. There is a variety of places to sit down and order something to eat and drink. There is plenty of green areas to walk and pic nic.The area is also animal friendly and many bring their dogs with. Many cyclists also visit the coffee shops.Truly a beautiful place.

Excellent coffee, freshly ground from freshly roasted beans, in the beautiful Lourensford setting. The deli has beautifully tasteful products and fresh produce. This is the best place to buy coffee beans, which are from all around the world and freshly roasted in store. high quality at the most amazing prices. along with a luxurious cup of coffee, I reccomend something freshly baked and something sweet lie their mouth watering chocolate cake or their cheesecake. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful.

Beautiful setting, sitting beneath the autumn changing oaks, this coupled with the occasional Zephyr drawing the aroma of the nearby herb gardens. and the freshly roasted coffee beans. all of this with a culinary experience that matches a working farm experience. my only disappointment is the small portions , which detract from the settings, otherwise a very pleasant outing. Location and scenery definitely make for another visit.

Very tranquil place with a lovely vibe. Coffee is excellent to match. Food was great. Had the house blend corral which was tangy and rich with a lovely fruitiness. The decade as a late or flat white is incredible- fabulous biscuit notes in both. Bobotie was a lovely portion and tasty. A walk around the peaceful and well-maintained gardens is a must.

What a delightful experience I had at The Coffee Roasting Company today. The service was excellent...my Appletart wit ice cream was really tasty! They are surrounded by the beautiful gardens at Lourensford wine estate... And there after you can feast your eyes and feed your soul seeing the beautiful artwork of Gods creation and of men too at the Art Gallery. The market was not open... But there was a beautiful and exquisite visitor at least... Nogal my favourite big one... So I did not feel so alone. There were also great spoils from the honey bees.. Autumn is in the air and you are currently surrounded by the wonderful warm colours of autumn. Treat yourself and spend some time there. But dont forget to choose enjoying the variety of coffees at THE COFFEE ROASTING COMPANY. As you can see.. The staff are quite ready for fun too... Nothing like humour to brighten up your day

Fantastic to have followed this Coffee roastery and coffee shops journey over the past 12 years and how it has evolved without losing its charm. Service is always friendly.Excellent cuppacino and very reasonable prices, selection of cakes and tarts to choose from. Other drinks like milkshakes and teas also available as well as a lunch menu and other items like soft serves. Great seating under the trees in the garden or inside. Perfect space on the perfect estate.

The service was great. Coffee and Fresh made juice tasty but the food not so much. What a disappointing french toast. If you are going to serve cheap white bread then make sure you know how to at least make french toast. R60 for one slice of toast, 2 pieces of bacon and half a banana. Asked for honey, got syrup. Try and use thicker slices or sour dough bread, do not press flat with spatula and fry in butter.

I was very disappointed at the carelessness with regards to the COVID-19 epidemic. This coffee shop used to be one of my favorite places to visit. Last week I was there again. The hostesses and some waiters were not wearing masks, not even around their necks. I asked the lady who helped me at the vegetable counter as to why she was not wearing a mask. She just giggled and made no attempt to rectify the situation. It is sad. Business owners, especially those working with food, who do not abide by the COVID-19 protocols are putting peoples lifes at risk.

While visiting my parents they suggested that this would be an excellent choice for a coffee and a snack. We arrived and noticed the coffee tasting and were immediately interested. We order some standard coffees and snacks for some of the party and two coffee tastings. The food and coffees arrived in a timely fashion and the accompanying coffees were well presented and excellently received. After about 25 minutes the food was eaten and the coffees enjoyed, while we still waited for the tastings. When the tastings eventually arrived the coffee was burnt well beyond anything that we have ever tasted and they were abandoned un-drunk.Paid the reasonable bill, brought the coffee to the attention of the waitress who informed us that the responsible person was on break and was unable to assist.Based on the standard coffees delivered with the food this seemed an anomaly so I shrugged and decided to enjoy my day elsewhere.

The Roastery is always bustling. The coffee is the obvious forte: fresh beans brewed well. Just wait until you see the food! Always beautifully presented, always fresh and very tasty! The cakes are what dreams are made of.The staff is friendly and efficient and of course the Lourensford Estate is an amazing backdrop.

What a shocking experience we had there today. We arrived just after 12:00pm for something to eat. We usually come on market days, but my parents are visiting from Durban and we thought we would come as we love the wine estate as a whole.First when we arrived we received menus and then nobody came back. After 15 minutes we received service. We eventually place our order and asked for a jug of water. There glasses are so small it made no sense. After waiting around 20minutes after placing the order order the waiter comes and says they do not have 3 of the 6 items we ordered. We then ordered different items. My food came and my wifes. Then 15minutes later my sisters pie. After waiting another 25minutes for my parents food we gave up and asked for the bill and left.To top it all my parents did not eat and neither did my son as he does not eat any bread except white bread. His sandwich came on a brown seeded bread. Instead of saying they do not have whit bread they just took it upon themselves. My parents have been visiting me every year for 12 years since I have lived in the cape and this is the first time that they have reviewed such a shocking experience in service and quality.I suggest they do something to prevent these situations in the future as it massively dents the reputation of the wine estate as a whole.
