Had a pregnancy craving for the new Belgium Sundae pie I purchased it and gave receipt as I fully always get what I order sadly to say there was no pie inside ....just a normal sundae

For a place that is meant to be world renowned for its potato chips, they did a terrible job. The order was meant to be very short and simple, however they made us wait for cold, tasteless, sub-standard chips on multiple occasions. I am very disappointed.

Re: Short Ingredients (but paid full price)I came in and bought a boerie and hashbrown stack today at Claremont Cavendish Square McDonalds as I usually do, only to find that after opening the wrapper and burger that it came without the brazed onions.I then let the manager on duty know, where she simply brushed it off and responded by saying the onions were out of stock.I would have appreciated the decency of being told before hand about the out of stock onions, so that i couldve at least changed my order to purchase something else with all the ingredients.I feel that the managers attitude to a customer concern is appalling, instead of resolving it she chose to ignore it.Post response: The only feedback you get is an automated response. No gesture of goodwill offered for this ripoff burger. A situation that could have easily been remedied. I have now posted this on most social media channels including Hellopeter. And going forward ill be going to Burger King.

This McDonald’s is quite decent although they do lack consistency. The McCafe here is quite nice though. Overall, it’s a decent experience. I must say though, most lockdown, service and consistency has increased a lot!

Clean and inviting. The service is fantastic so much so I would drive all the way here to buy food. Lwando is excellent and efficient and so professional. Good service is of importance where there are so many grand restaurants who lack it. Thank you Lwando for making the world so sweet 🥰

Worst macdonalds Ive ever been to. The cashier was absolutely rude. Then she didnt listen to my order and blamed me when the manager had to correct it. Then when I eventually get my order. Its the complete wrong burger. Done with this place. Will never go back.

Disgusting burned cajun meal I got at mac donalds Cavendish Claremont on 2nd March 2019, when I returned it they say I dont have a receipt therefore they cant help me but they take the receipt. How pathetic!!! I had a bad experience before there and gave them a second chance yet to be disappointed again! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice Shame on me, fool me thrice? Never again!!!!+

Always a great go-to for their burgers and fries. The milkshakes are awesome. Its also located in Central Claremont and is easily accessible by public transport

Fast efficient service. Sadly not as upgraded as the newer McDonalds with table service but great nevertheless.Staff are friendly and willing to assist wherever possible.

Quick service, free WiFi and all lots of people. Just careful to not prefer the smoking area due to that cosy feeling cause someone will smoke! Would recommend this place!

My Lil bro had a small and basic order (I think a big Mac), which took around 45 minutes to fulfil. Other (much larger) orders which were placed after his were served first, and it seemed they completely skipped his. Nobody was of any help, either.Service isnt always quite this bad, but even on a good day its not much better.

Wow first thing is visible not far from main road. Theyre so fast and their fries are crispy they are no one. They have wheelchair drive

There is a lack of friendliness or urgency from the teams. There seems to be an overall acceptance from the clients, that orders will be wrong and cold, as the automated system is ignored. Some employees were working without hairnets, the floor was dirty and slippery and the fryer looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. Trying to get a seat outside was impossible, as it was taken up by non patrons, who brought their food from somewhere else, this despite a security guard being on duty. Though busy, I think this is mainly due to the convenient location and nothing to do with actual service.

They were missing a few ingredients for the burgers. Obviously the burger was not I wanted by virtue of that but then, to their defence, it was almost time to close shop

Very bad service firstly on your website shows you guys open at 6 to get there is an open door no staff no sign notification on your door whats happening. Few customers standing and waiting have no idea whats going on. This Mac donalds hads always had very bad communication skills..

This has to be the worst Mcdonalds that I have been to and they are consistently bad. First of all, they on more than one occasion have advised that their blender is broken and cannot make iced coffee (surely that after a few weeks of it being broken the Manager will attend to having it fixed / replaced). The cashiers are slow, unfriendly and take a long time to serve you. They also do not inform you that the blender is broken. Upon ordering a breakfast with an iced coffee and coming back to the counter to advise that the blender is broken the cashier attempted to get me to take something else off the cafe menu which I did not want and was very pushy. I advised her twice I would prefer to take a coke zero instead. She proceeded to give me a supersize coke zero (which I would never order as I cannot finish it instead of a small or medium which is typical of a breakfast meal). I advised her that she is to refund me my money as I had paid in extra for the iced coffee and then gave me attitude before going to call the manager and giving me the difference between the iced coffee and supersize coke light (which I did not want that size and she did not ask what size I would like). On more than one occasion the food is cold and the chips are hard and dry and has too much salt. I will not go back to this Mcdonalds again and rather go to the one on Main Road Claremont.

Concerned I was there on Monday 2.3.2020 mid day and there was not ice cream and the next day at approximately 18h00 there was no burns for the big macs (your top seller)on both occassions I stood in a que to be told that they out of stock .There was no signage .😡and all they can say we out of stock no sorry or anything....

Ive had some quality coffee on my life but this was one of the best ... The service was exceptionally well and alot of friendly faces ... this deserves 5 stars because in most McDonalds restaurants it is rare to get this great service.

Service is slow and security is pathetic. You cant eat a single chip without having someone asking you for money or trying to steal things out of your bag.Edit: Restaurant has serious hygiene problems too. The staff managing most of the stations either dont wear gloves or wear a single glove. Fries were thrown into the deep fryer basket using their bare-hands. The worst was that there was stock being packed into the cold room without the staff wearing any hand protection. ( time of visit was 20:31:11 on 09/10/2018). Its quite a busy restaurant so hopefully these issues will be sorted out soon .

Utterly Dissapointed. I went 3 hours ago before the going to the cinema, there was 4 staff members busy and no one at the till, I stood there for a while and one staff member just looked at me and continued mopping. After the movies I went again, and they said the QR scan machine doesnt work so I couldnt redeem the App specials, they said they out of stock of BIG Macs too. Its half price For movies on Tuesdays, so the crowd will be big, how is this Macdz not having sufficient product?

I have been waiting now 20min to be exact for two items all the customers before me have gone and even had there breakfast and left .And I’m still standing here while this place wastes my time .I’m almost certain this was because I changed my mind about having coffee on my orderThe cashier and her colleague were exchanging comments in a language I don’t understand when she called for the void and I could see they were visibly annoyed .They asked me to write my name and contact details on slip which is ok but now they have my details .It’s ok it’s now 9:22 am 22 minutes since I placed orderAlso your number board doesn’t workAnd I think it’s best I leave in case I get extra ingredients in my meal please give my meal to the poor

They are never open for their advertised times. Always late and never open until midnight. It is currently 7.10 and still closed.In addition to this, there laser scanner is so often faulty as to not make it worth having the McDonalds app

I purchased 2 happy meals at the claremont, cavindish mcdonalds branch today the 28 september 2019 at 1pm. My son complained that the sauce or something on the burger did not taste rite. I took a bite myself to taste and also did not taste right to me. I took it to the maneger on duty Asanda Moya but she refused to access the burger on its taste and just repeatedly said theres nothing wrong with it without even taking a look at it. I asked for a a different burger but was declined. On top of this she spoke to me in an arrogant manner. My son could not enjoy or complete his meal as the burger was un edible and ended up crying. Im highly upset regarding this experience that i have had at this branch and will definitely not buy here again an advise everbody against using this branch.Nathan Ernstzen

Slow service, with sulky staff. Delayed orders, which results in cold food. The floors are dirty and slippery - especially around the fries area. Outside seating is taken up by people with food from other vendors, despite a security guard stationed at the entrance.

I ordered large big Mac meal as I hate McDonalds breakfast menu it sucks so does the food on offer and its all thats displayed. The waitor called my number with my order ready and packed. My fries wasnt in it. I enquired about my missing fries and my coke had no ice as requested when ordering. The waitor attempted to give me fries that was sitting at the fryer for over 2 minutes. Check ur camera I immediately refused to accept cold fries. Why is the fries I did get from the fryer wasnt hot either? Wont be back in a hurry.
