Friendly staff. Best value for money beans in the Mother City as far as I know. The house blend is a great mild coffee with easy to like flavours, while the greater intensity of the Columbia Excelsio and its sweetness have made it my current go-to.

Arguably my favourite stop for coffee in Cape Town. Been going there for nigh on a decade and not once disappointed. Quick, efficient service. Consistent, high quality coffee. The only disappointment is that I finish it so quickly, but the taste lingers pleasantly and pleasurably.

Deluxe continues to produce some of the best coffee in this fair city. Furthermore, they certainly understand their market in terms of the retail spaces in which they set up shop - dark and broody places that assimilate well with the CBDs historic feel. Such an awesome place! I would stop here everyday if I lived close by.

I’d come back with a friend or a date to chat over some roasts, but not a good spot for working.It’s tucked away in a little side ally and the view is of a garage door and side of a building which isn’t bad, but the honking is a bit distracting.If you’re looking for a spot to grab coffee to-go, perfect for that as they are attentive and quick in their service 👍🏼

Having just moved to the Mother City, we kept hearing about this cool, intense coffee place down Church Street. Their coffee may be fantastic, but their service was so incredibly rude and condescending that I didnt stick around the try it. There are loads of coffee places in Cape Town; I suggest avoiding this one if you have even a shred of dignity. What a disappointing experience.

After years of tasting coffee and hoping to find a good one in Cape Town a coffee revolution happened about 4 years back: there are now plenty of local roasteries in CPT and Deluxe is one of the best if not the best one.Expect quick and good service with awesome products. Why dont you buy a bag of beans to take home?

How many coffee shops are so cool they dont even have a street front presence? Hidden down a dodgy alley behind a roll up door, this hipster coffee joint is still the best value and quality for a quick hit of caffeine in the city bowl. The focus is on great coffee. No pastries, bread, etc. Just coffee. Oh, they do sell some vintage vinyl, renovated motorbikes and the odd fixie. The baristas are inked up and groovy, the clientele is local entrepreneurs, the aroma is pungent freshly roasted beans, the vibe is laid back and very laaik you know...Cape Town.
