Lovely and professional staff and atmosphere. Unique that they are taking orders directly on the tablets, helps with communication to the kitchen. The food was devine. Loved the carpaccio and the calamari starters. Three course and two courses have good varieties and are very affordable.

This restaurant has been on my places to go list, and when I got there it met all my expectations. The security guy was extremely rude but once we got inside we forgot all about him because of the lovely reception we received inside. The prices are reasonable, they even have an option for 2 course or 3 course meal at a very reasonable price!!! Makes it easier to host dinner dates. I enjoyed the food as well! Definitely coming back the next time I am in CPT..

Lets start off with how awesome the restaurant looks. Gorgeous decorations with inside and outside seating, and had we known there was a fireplace wed have come here in the winter instead! Service from the door to your table is all on point.The food is just delicious and well presented. For starters we had the signature chicken wings and theyre a great light meal to have before your main. The sauce is just absolutely amazing. We had the Poor Boy Prawn Roll and the Baby Kingklip. Both were quite good, the prawn roll Id suggest is more for a light meal compared to the Kingklip which is perfectly grilled with an amazing sauce and side of your choice. Unfortunately we skipped dessert this time around but the cocktails are good and fruity. Gives you that real ocean vibe especially since youre just on the beach front. While Im on that: the view from the restaurant is amazing for sunset (see pics).Bobos is a real great place and a good date night idea, though you could just go with friends or family for a more classy meal time.

The venue has the most wonderful view over the ocean toward Robben Island.Service upon entry was sharp and friendly and we were directed to our central table with ease.Wait time for service was about 4 minutes and for the food, less than 15 minutesPresentation was impressive and neat.Personally, I would have prefered if there was an option to have filleted fish, but the lamb meal was clearly the star.You dont have to play hide and seek for prawns in the prawn pasta dish.Entrance is wheelchair friendly and bathrooms are clean and large.It was a bit cold at our seats, but thats probably a result of the weather.The pricing is on the high side, but you are paying for the views and environment.

We arrived to the best hospitality and service. Our waiter was incredible. The food was delicious and well presented. We celebrated our daughters 4th birthday and they surprised us with a special dessert.We highly recommend Bobos for outstanding service excellence and delicious cuisine.

Superb restaurant. Aesthetically easing and a best of both worlds, in that Im wi ter it can be very homey and cosy with its 2 fireplaces, but also in summer very breezy with the amazing sea views. Reaaonable prices. They havent escalated them due to covid, like most places. You can get a 3 course set menu for R320

The restaurant side looked great but I was on the bar side and it was awesome. Most bars at restaurants feel like an after thought but this one was tops.

Was not approached upon arrival about my outfit until i was caught walking ALONE to the bathroom. I was told by who -i think was a manager -(was not wearing an apron or uniform) to put on a jacket and cover myself. Absolutely disgusted. That time it was a man, i was not approached by any of the female workers and we were welcomed by a female host at the door and another female worker came to our table to check up on us and nothing was said. If there is a dresscode policy it should be stated on website or at the door !!

The view of the sea was beautiful. The food was delicious, too. The staff were also dressed neatly and cleanly and friendly.

The waiter was very reluctant to serve me and my family. We were very patient but we noticed him pointing at us. We assumed that he did not want to wait on us. Our drinks were late and for the food we only ordered starters and left. We gave the waiter a R100 tip anyways. Maybe he will treat his next customers proper.

The layout and the views are fabulous. The food is also good. On the day we visited, I got a sense that the place is popular with the younger crowd and I found it rather noisy. The background music didnt help either, it was a notch too loud.

The service was excellent and everyone was friendly. We asked to be moved to another table which had spectacular views of the ocean and the beautiful sunset. The waiter was visible and gave us just the right amount of attention. The food and wine selection were great too.

Excellent service.. great starters.. cocktails had way to much ice and way to little cocktail.. seemed more like a slushy and definitely not worth the price.. had the lamb cutlets main.. seemed to be steamed and brushed with a marinade.. very disappointed. Will not be going there again.

What a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Everything was great except for my steak unfortunately. It was a minute steak cut that was meant to be medium to well and was over cooked and dry. Not good at all, but I cannot fault anything else😊 Next time I will stick to fish😉

The covid protocols were in place so our evening started the right way with temp checks and spaced out seating. Mike was an excellent waiter, the grilled calamari was super tender, the fish was cooked perfectly and and the desserts were delicious so it was a great experience all around

Lovely ambiance and seaside views. Recieved lovely service from the waiter Collins. Personal favourite tapas was the hummus & feta option & the crumbled squid. Got to enjoy a lovely sunset whilst being seating on the porch and enjoyed the heat as we went from sundowner to dinner service.

Fantastic fantastic everything! We indulged in the mothers day set menu and the food was great I especially enjoyed the tomato gnocchi, prawns and calamari (with chorizo Yum). Great service. Cant wait to come back again. We went in the evening so didnt experience the setting but imagine it would be amazing during the day or for watching a lovely sun set.

Food is not cheap but the quality is fantastic. I order the gourmet burger with fries and my wife order the salad. Both were winners. The standout Fourier for me was the attentive and efficient service. Mike was our waiter and was on top of his game. This restaurant has a killer view and is an awesome late afternoon venue in autumn.

This was an amazing experience. We celebrated my moms 50th birthday and the manager on duty Eddie was a great help, so grateful that he helped us out. He a friendly person and loves to make jokes. Beautiful setting and views. Great service and entrance, waiter was excellent. We started with a variety of sides of fish dishes, crispy onion rings etc which was good. For mains we had lamb chops and ribs. Unfortunately this was a bit of a disappointment as the chops seems like it was steamed and basted with sauce. The Ribs was suppose to be chargrilled but was not. The cocktails are pricey which we didnt mind if it came in large cocktails glasses. Some was served in a sort of whiskey glass or high ball glass which shouldnt be. Beautiful pleasant atmosphere.

The food was amazing, a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, I couldnt say the same for the service. Very friendly and sweet but very absent. Could definitely improve the overall experience with better service.

It seems that the restaurant is taking a percentage of the tips as on three occasions now the waiters have basically begged for the tips in cash. One waiter mentioned the restaurant takes 40%… Not acceptable if I am giving a tip to the waiter I fully intend on them receiving it. I’m not giving the restaurant extra money…

Great restaurant for easy eating, they have a little bit of everything. The staff have great moral which adds to the great vibes. The food is always well cooked and presented. A boozy brunch or cocktail dates are the best at this restaurant.

We have been to Bobos several times and it was always a real pleasure to be there. The view remembers me when I was at Mauritius a long time ago and now we have heard that the very friendly manager is from Mauritius....I am sure when the tourists will be back to Cape Town this place will be fully booked all time and the position is at least better then Camps Bay because of parking possibilities and stress free people!!! He was very attentive and we enjoyed our intermittent conversations between disappointing half eaten plates being cleared.But it was filled with people celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, which begs the question, why?It may have been a bad night I understand it happens - however not a restaurant Id care enough to revisit.

Manager intentionally lied!13 Dec 2020, ordered a Glenmorangie 18 year old whiskey, which tasted almost watered down. Spoke to the manager on duty who was the gentleman with the shaved head. When mentioning the whiskey tasted watered down, he was immediately dismissive saying its not true. He then walked to the bar, walked back and told me its not possible because the bottle was just opened. I went to the bar 5 minutes later. The picture says the bottle was 2/3 empty.8 of us ordered dinner and the taste was just not there, we had to put salt and Tabasco.What a bad experience

I went to Bobos to meet a few friends over dinner after a long time. I had the steak as part of the two course meal. It was absolutely amazing. I had done medium and it was so nice and juicy yet had that flame grilled taste too. Kudos to the chef. The overall staff were also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is kid friendly and there is free parking on the road. I would definitely like to go again and try something different on the menu.

This is chic restaurant on the promenade in Cape Town, it really is beautiful. They have an awesome set menu and chef selection which is what I had. The portions were great value. Pro to, sunset is amazing!
