BE VERY CAREFULL FOR THIS COMPANY! Looking around at this platform, we are not the only one!!! This company sells new and orginal parts while they are not. Most of the parts they use for your phone and iPad are pre-owned. Also this company doesnt have the necessary software to replace iPhone batteries. When you talk to the manager or their technician, they absolutely dont care. But when you bring your devices they are your best friend and dont stop selling you things you dont need. We have contacted Apple Inc..This company is not an official Apple dealer. They advised us to go always to an official dealer and so do we.

Today was my first experience at the Apple Dr. in Maitland and I will never take my device anywhere else again. The service was impeccable and the pricing wasn’t bad either considering other repair centers required my phone for 2-3 days, and I waited 45min instead. Great work guys! I dropped my phone accidentally during the morning of Christmas Eve 2020 and called through to two different repair shops at around 10:30 am and Real Repair was the only one willing to help me and repair it for me within 1-2 hours. This is remarkable service and my phone works wonderfully. Thank you soo much, I really appreciate it.Update: noticed three blue screen tint blotches while viewing a white background. My volume down button isn’t functioning. It might be a good trade off for a screen fixed quickly. The typing experience is a bit erratic but that could be app related or screen cover related which I started using after fix.Update 2: it was the screen cover. The typing experience is more responsive now.Update 3: my iPhone silent button keeps activating the notification that phone is on silent. The apple logo is cracked at the back of my phone. I think they gave me a new iPhone case and put the old microchip into this case. My phone is worse of and not useable. Changed my review for this company. THEY ARE TERRIBLE STAY AWAY!Update 4: the apple logo at the back of the case isn’t cracked. It moves. It’s not intact. This is really terrible service. I feel like I have been robbed.Update 5: I think the battery is swelling up and pushing the case out and is affecting everything.

My experience is not good. They do not use original parts so if you are looking to fix your Apple devices dont do it. By the way the staff is very kind and helpful.I brought to one of your stores my ipad and you told me you can fix the cracked screen (but still working) in 24 hours. After one week it was not ready to collect. Than when ready, i came to collect it and the screen was YELLOW and not WHITE as before. It was not glued properly and was literally walling from the ipad it self.The staff told be that its normal. So i asked to remove the very bad work and give me back my ipad. The result is a even more broken screen and a not usable ipad. I wont turn on because the literally destroyed the screen and parts of the ipad and refused to fix it.So i brought in a working ipad and I came out with a broken one. Not a great deal. I argued with the staff but none cared about the situation.

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY FROM This company as they a fraud and people needs to be aware of their refund and return policy which is non existent. Poor service and quality goods are sold for exortionate prices!I am battling to get my refund for 9 days now and they non responsive. People please beware of this company and I strongly advise you to stay away from ever fixing or getting accessories for your phone. They should actually not be in business at all because they extremely [email protected] got an email from me yesterday (9th Oct 2020) and whatsapp messages to+27 76 462 3705 which was both ignored!Please action this response with immediate effect!

I sent in an iPhone 5s for a screen repair and software issue, also an iPhone8 for a shattered screen. I live far away from Cape Town so I had to have it couriered there and back.I sent the phones in on Friday and received them back on the Wednesday. It only cost me R3500 for both. Comparing it to an Apple store this is CHEAP.The staff was friendly and responded quickly to all my emails even copied each other in on messages. I got phoned 3 times to confirm stuff and all I can say about this experience is WOW.When I got the pones back this morning it was packaged really professionally, boxes was even plastic sealed and in bubble wrap and I got 2 air vent phone holders free. Will turn them on this evening and see if all works like it is supposed to but with all the care taken I am not worried much.I can truly recommend them for iPhone repairs. Their service was top notch.

I purchashed the True Wireless Trainer Earpods from Vodacom Canal Walk. The 1st pair did not want to charge and was exchanged. It was a quick and easy process. Now when i opened the new pair that was exchanged, I noticed the charging block was damaged. I put it immediately back in the packaging and went back to the store when I had a chance. When i exchanged the 1st pair I was told that if i have any problems, I have until the 29 August 2020 to exchange it. When i went to go exchange it today, I was told they not changing it because the charging block is damaged. I told them it was like that when i got it. I didnt examine the packege when exchanging because i wasnt expecting them to be a faulty unit. The 2nd in charge assisted me but what a frustrating process. He said he wont exchange it because the charging block is damaged and that the supplier wont exchange it because they will say that I damaged the unit. After explaining that is how I got it, he said he is going to try to contact the rep. They said over the phone that why didnt I return it immediately. I stay in Durbanville so by the chance I finish work, Canal Walk is closed. So now they expect me to just accept it as is and if i got a problem, that I must come back when the store manager is in. He only gets back on the 24 August 2020. So what are they going to say now? Ask me why I waited to long again. Honestly speaking I actually have never been so livid with the service i recieved. I am a honest person by nature so dont accuse me of something that I didnt do. I am in customer service and I would never handle the matter the way that it was handled.

I took my phone there for repairs because it had completely shut down and couldnt switch on, they changed the battery but the problem persisted.I was told that they will do a 24 hour assessment and they will get back to me but they didnt call, I had to call them and they said they required my permission take it to the head office because they couldnt fix the problem. I gave them the go ahead and went after 3 days later to check the progress only to find out that the phone wasnt sent to their head office.I had to take the phone to other repair company and spend more because they couldnt fix the problem.

I requested a quote, and followed up every couple of days for two weeks. I tried calling, whatsapp calling, web chat, emails and website contact forms. After two weeks I was provided with a quote for repairs, asked one more question and never received a response. So I would not recommend this company. Just too difficult to deal with.

My experience wasn’t great. I expected more based on the reviews I read. I took 2 devices for screen replacements, an iPhone and an iPad. Got a R800 quote on the iPhone and 6grand quote on the iPad. I had left the premises but it struck me the iPad repair cost was a bit too pricey so I immediately called the customer care and requested only the iPhone be fixed. The service wasn’t as fast as claimed and I had to return the next day for both devices. I paid for the iPhone and reminded the attendant that I had called the day before to cancel the iPad repairs and she told me it was just being coupled. Then I had to return the iPhone because the left side of the screen wasn’t working. I requested to take the iPad along then and I was asked to pay 6grand for the repairs. I was stunned and felt like the service was forced on me, my energy is preserved for more pressing issues so I let it slide and paid. Had to return again to pick up the iPhone this time with the battery also replaced as suggested by the tech dude who called me. He told me the battery cost will be 300 but I ended up being charged 399 when picking it up. Not sure I’ll be back.

I have used Apple Doctor for a number of years for simple things like cases and screen protectors for myself and my teams phones, and the service has been as expected. Recently though I brought a phone in to have a screen protector installed which turned out to be faulty, whether due to installation or product I cant say. It was poor in response to touch, made a clicking sound as you typed (like it was lifting from the adhesion of the screen each time), and then a few days later it cracked.I brought it back to ask if they could replace it and was refused being asked to buy a new one. I of course understand that because it now had a crack in it is my word against theirs that I had not dropped this phone, but I really painted the picture of what happened and they were not interested at all in understanding and rather keeping a customer.So two warnings:- Some of their products may be faulty- If you experience one of these products, be prepared that they may not want to fix it for you despite any history and the prices they charge.Details:-Constantia Store-iPhone 8. Before I handed my phone over I confirmed that the screen would be the same as the original screen for the R3400 that I was paying for the replacement. When I received the phone back, screen had a faded blue tint. When I questioned this they told me occasionally a screen will have a blue tint to it so theyd replace it. When I received the phone the second time - the screen was equally as faded blue. When I asked them why it was still blue, the engineer assured me it was better - regardless of the fact that it certainly wasnt.

Zero rating! I handed in an iPad for a battery change on the 17th July (battery life 3 hours). I had to phone a week later for feedback. They changed the battery and the screen (small crack). I paid R2000 BUT now the iPad doesnt even charge from 3% !!!! I returned it.... kept phoning for feedback but each time was told someone would call or email in the morning. JASON (head office manager) was supposed to call me on Monday... its Thursday... more than a month of Apple Doctor repair. Are you hoping I give up and you keep the iPad and the money??? **UPDATE** - After much drama, 6 weeks later - the iPad is finally fixed with the help of a good technician (faulty connector for battery). Thank you Jason and Shirleen.

Overall a good service experience at Apple Doctor in M5 Freeway Park. However the telephones are never answered and the mailbox is full so no messages can be left. This makes it difficult to follow up on, or amend a quotation.Having said that, e-mail enquiries were answered promptly and fully.

Great service. My iPod suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. I took it in and received a quotation via email a day or so later. A few emails followed, each of which was dealt with promptly and professionally, and I collected the iPod a few days later in perfect working order. Given that Apple is not officially supported in South Africa I was most pleasantly surprised with the service levels, and impressed too. Being open on a Saturday morning was a big plus too.

Two emails of several that summarize the poor service that I received. They remain unanswered. I have been left with a broken iPad, after it was with Apple Doctor for nearly 40 days.— 26 JanDear Apple Doctor,I received a call earlier this week to collect the iPad, however there was no indication in the message if repairs had been done or not and in what state it would be in.I had not been quoted on any work in addition to just the screen repair to be done nor given my permission obviously not knowing how much it would cost. I was, however, verbally promised a discount on the final price given the poor service that had been rendered.On picking up the device at Cavendish I checked that the screen had been repaired. It had been. I was presented with two invoices that had different amounts itemized, but both showed an amount of zero was still outstanding. Only one of these required my signature according to the service agent. I asked how much was still payable, and was told by the service agent that there was nothing to pay on the account. I signed, then left.Exiting the mall I received a call that I should return as there was an amount owed. The caller was quite pressing in the fact that I should return to the store. This, however, was not possible as I was already in traffic off to another meeting. I was then urged to return the following day to settle the account - I asked how much was owed and could still not be told, and that it would be sorted with head office. So I was told to return and pay something, but could not be told what the amount was.I requested several times that I be sent an itemized invoice. The caller reluctantly said something about head office and the call ended.I thought my displeasure could not sink further, but I was wrong. Switching on the device at home - so far so good. Opening an app - great. Pressing the home button to close the app? No. It didn’t work.It did before we gave you the device thirty-six days ago.You broke it.This has been an excruciating experience so far. I fear that the pain is not yet over for me as I have an iPad that cannot be used.Please suggest a way forward that attempts to return a tiny piece of dignity to this customer, as well as a working iPad.Regards, and I remain,An unhappy Mr Thompson— 31 JanDear Apple Doctor,It has been five days since my email [above], that remains unanswered. Horrible service. Took my phone in for repairs sat morning. Driver by the name Eddy arrived on time. Received it back without the promised screen protector and my speaker not working at .Driver took it and after that nothing at all! phone head office without no response, phoned cellucity at the waterfront and canal walk as they form part of the apple doctor business(Owned by Shaun Joffe) no one could even give me any info about my iphone.My advice, take your iphone elsewhere.

Service was really bad, i booked my phone in online on their online system when i got there they still didnt know who i was, took my phone in gave me no reference number at all still asked me to fill out paper work after i filled out the web page, got my phone back the next day and they assured me its working fine, when i got home i tested it only to find its still not working perfectly , now i tried calling back and they do not pick up the landline phone, so annoying

TEXHNICIANS ARE INCOMPETENTWent to have iPhone battery replaced and ended up with a damaged screen and volume buttons not working.Store manager told me that was not their fault.Had diagnostics done by Apple store that informed me that screen damaged by screws not properly fixed after battery replacement. Also, volume buttons were disconnected from the motherboard.
