Amazing service by Clarence Jordaan. I would highly recommend his service to all my friends and family. Thank you so much Mr Jordaan. I have one dissapointment though. The fact that the floor manager addressed Clarence infront of me and everyone else in the store is very unprofessional. I heard everything she said. Reason for me standing closer to Clarence was to hear him better. You dont just sign something if you cant hear clearly what has been discussed or explained to you.

I typically dread having to visit a Telkom store however over the past weekend I had an issue with a No SIM Inserted error. I arrived at Telkoms Tygervalley store. I was assisted immediately. I was given a new SIM with a swap in a few minutes. The gentleman who assisted me was friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Entering a contract with telkom was amazing as chanell has helped us beyond measure and went the extra mile. We had some issues with the insurance and claiming but chanell stepped in once again after 2 years and showed us why we loved her from the first day.If you want amazing service please do ask for Chanelle at telkom tygervalley as she goes above and beyond. I see a store manager in the making in her.

Visited the Telkom store Tygervalley and spoke to the store manager, Jowen Michaels.I am extremely disgusted with the service which i received from Telkom, i was assisted by a call centre agent , who offered me a wireless service. And to date i am still waiting for my service to be activated.TELKOM IS LOOSING CUSTOMERSi am not a happy customer.

As a Prepaid Data Client of Telkom for many years have been dealing with Mr. Jowen Michaels from this Telkom Shop for a long time. I have always experienced excellent service from him. I would buy airtime at any shop and load it onto my phone. Then I will call him to convert it to data. He always goes the extra mile. He readily and willingly checks balances when I call the store. He also updates me on the latest packages and of new offers that are available. I will recommend him for excellent service without any hesitation.

The que was long and slow but the agent who helped me was professional .Unfortunately the call centre agent who phoned me it seems like she was doing work from her home as a baby was screaming and shouting in the backround i had great difficulty in hearing what she was saying to mewhich was very irretating and i had to ask her several times to repeat what she was saying .

The experience in the store was pleasant, however, TELKOM needs to improve on their installation time. TELKOM notified me it will take Vumatel between 1 to 21 days to can come out and install my fibre. This is very inconvenient because I have no indication on when they will arrive and I have to be available on short notice.

Did not advise about the phone not including a charger. It is something that could have been read up about but good for the consultant to explain in store rather than the client going home and realising it then only. Always better to give to much info than too little.

Received excellent service from both the consultant and the Branch Manager, however, I was disappointed to find out that my no-contract/ sim only R499.00 FreeMe 20GB deal has now gone up to R606.50 per month. It was explained that because I had completed 2 years at R499 (no contract) the deal was reverting to the normal price. I took out this deal in Durban and it was never explained to me that after 2 years it would increase. So my excellent service from the staff at Tygervalley, turned to disappointment. I certainly won’t get caught again by any attractive Telkom deals without querying likely small print conditions

Visited Telkom Store today, assisted by Clarence Jordaan regarding my account cancellation. Was satisfied with the assistance and SERVICES.HOWEVER, TELKOM NEEDS TO WORK ON THEIR BILLING SYSTEM!!!!! There is something seriously wrong when consultants give reviews on behalf of customers. This practice must be stopped.Look at the reviews. They are all 5 stars. Mine was also 5 stars. Look at other reviews in Tygervalley shops to see how real review stats looks like.This is the previous review which Ive edited to change it back from a 5:How on earth can you rate yourself. Very noisy inside. Cannot hear consultant. Took very long. I see lots of 5 stars. Consultant tells you you must register on the telkom website. Then he said he will do it. This is a very bad practice. My experience was definately not 5 stars.

There was a system problem where charges were made after I cancelled my Unlimited Home service when my 24 month contract expired on 4 March 2021. The Manager, Mr Michaels, immediately understood that I had migrated to RAIN on 2 March, and made sure the cancellation will be affective from 4 March as was intended. He is a great Brand Ambassador for Telkom, because even though the incident did not take place at his store, he still offered me an opportunity to vent, and he also provided solutions. I am on your system and have a contract with you. Last week I reported that my phone was stolen and your office could not not assist me with a Sim swop. The said they must report to the back office and will send me feedback through sms. Up until today I havent received any response. I had to came into your office only to find out now you require the information on a company letter head.Your service is pathetic and time wasting. I am self employed and cant afford to spend time to visit your office every time.

Good customer service received.A suggestion: For customers that work out of the country, in my case on ships, allow a longer expiry period for pre-paid SIM cards. I would suggest at least 3 months so that the SIM card still works when returning the SA.

I signed a Telkom fibre internet contract last year September. Vumatel was the fibre line supplier. The internet did not work for four months. Vumatel kept saying it was a Telkom problem and then Telkom would just reply: no it is a Vumatel problem. I phoned Telkoms technical department constantly. After four months when I wanted to cancel my contract, then only things started happening. A technician figuered out that it was my router that was not set up proporly. After all this I obviously had billing issues as well. Just as my internet was working the billing department cancelled my contract.I went three months without internet and then decided it was time to get internet again. I went with Telkom again because I thought it would be a simple re - connection. This was two weeks ago. Same problem is happening.I did come into contact with Jowen (manager at Telkom Tygervalley) and the experiwnce so far is a positive one...

Telkom advertise the phone that I want, an iPhone 12 Max 256g, but there is no stock, not even at the warehouse. I went to various stores all over Cape Town and no one can help me. How do you expect to keep customers. The Tygervalley manager Jowan Michaels is going the extra mile to assist, but not if Telkom cant provide what the customer wants.

I dont think Ive ever received such unbelievable service anywhere before! The phone we wanted was out of stock, with no stock to be found anywhere. We needed it urgently as my son was leaving on a trip. Superhero salesman Bennie Moyo checked everywhere for us. And found one!Then the manager of the store Jowen Michaels went even further with above and beyond excellent customer service.He phoned the branch where the phone was located. Spoke to the salesperson. Had her send me a location pin. Gave me excellent directions. Nothing was too much trouble for this man.I salute this branch and their amazing team. We asked Jowen to assist with a cancellation of service that was submitted at the Telkom Shop in N1 City at the end of March, but fell through the cracks and never reflected on the system. He was quick to send us the necessary documents for completion on the 20th May 2021 and our request was sorted out within 24Hrs. Great work my friend.!!
