We hired a Toyota Avanza through Vineyard Car Hire and had excellent service at a very reasonable charge. The vehicle itself came through Hertz and was in excellent condition. We were met in the airport terminal and managed to by-pass all the queues at the major companies. Drop of at the airport was efficient and quick. Highly recommended.

Great service, friendly stuff. I rent the car over phone, they dropped the car to my hotel. When I drop off the car they gave lift to airport. Their car is new and very fuel efficient. Car rental comes with full tank of gas. Which you could travel approx. 500km. Their rental rate fair which includes a tank of gas. Anyway I highly recommend them for your car rental.

Best Car Hire Ever! They dropped the car off at our guesthouse exactly on time and spent time going over the car to check that everything was ok. The car was new and spotless. If only every car hire company could be as efficient!

While the rental car was clean and the service good, they attempted to charge me for petrol after I returned the car with a full tank. Upon dispute they refunded the charge. However, I would not recommend a company that does this without telling the customer first. If you do use them, ensure you take a photo of the full tank before returning so you can dispute this too. They also attempted to charge me for a fine which was not mine after the fact, and was handled as if they were trying to get back for the fuel cost. While 1 mistake is acceptable, the experience I had did not reflect well on them through a comedy of errors. My experience seems to be an anomaly, but I personally would not use them again.

What an efficient and friendly and easy experience it was to hire from Vineyard while my car was at the panel beaters! Everyone with whom I had any contact was great -from the person in the office to the person delivering the car to the panelbeaters. Very happy with the car that Vineyard Car Hire provided for us, it looked brand new and drove well. The price was good, the staff very friendly and they dropped us off to a spot in the middle of the busy city which was very much appreciated. The only hickup was the drop-off of the car at Cape Town Airport domestic terminal, which was pre-arranged. But the driver was an hour late and said he was waiting for us at the International terminal... but we soon got over this and were very happy with everything else.

Ive rented Vineyards white VW cars for once-off occasions and short term lease. The customer service they provide is unlike anything youd find at some of the larger, brand name rental agencies at the airport and downtown. I recommend them to visitors from out of town often.
