Renting a Lamborghini next time , although I must add that 150km for the day was 50km more then usual a deal in price with longer rental should have been mentioned.

It started great with Exclusive Car Rentals. As Expats (not yet in a position to buy a car in South Africa) we rented a 2016 Corolla Quest. We had issues with it. There was an annoyingly loud squeaking noise every time we would touch the brake pedal. They took the car in a first time. It did not work. They took it in a second time and changed the brake pads, and then it was fine. Kudos for that. It is unfortunately a common issue with the Corolla Quest model. They were quick and professional. About four months later, we went on a 10-day holiday trip (without the car, it stayed parked at home) and when we came back I noticed that one tyre had low pressure. I got this fixed at a local gas station. I was diligent along the way to check for tyre pressure every time I was putting gas. One tyre had low pressure again. We got it fixed at the station. About 7-8 days later the gas station clerk said the pressure needed to be increased on that same tyre. No sign on the dashboard, but I dont think that the Quest has this type of alerts.I sent an email early on a Monday morning to Exclusive Car Rentals about the issue. Heard nothing back from them. I called the next day. Eventually someone called me back to say that whatever is the issue it is my responsibility and that I need to deal with it.I took the car in to a Tiger Wheel and Tyre shop (recommended by Exclusive Car Rentals). They found four tiny punctures on one tyre. They said that it was a very slow deflation and that some of these punctures may have been there from awhile ago. They said that I should buy a new tyre. So I did. They recommended that I get two new tyres at the back, because one new and one old is not the best for the car. So I did... The four punctures may or may not have been my responsibility. Exclusive Car Rentals refused to answer my questions about whether they check the tyres before giving the car to a new customer, and whether these were actually the original tyres on that car (the car had less than 58K on it).I understand that clients are liable for flat tyres. I was ok with paying for a new tyre. I would have preferred for the company to take the car back, get a receipt and charge me for it. Instead, I had to spend time getting it fixed and, most importantly, I was left with making decisions about the car (i.e. buying a brand new tyre for the other wheel at the back) as if this was my car. I sent a copy of the receipt to them, and told them that I would not renew my lease for next week. Complete radio silence from them. Be careful with this company...

We booked a car in the last minute, they brought us the car to the hotel and saved us cause there was no cars left in any other company...Sara was amazing, super professional and kind to us and we will forever thank you for making our trip so perfect with the car.The car was great!! We did 12 days of garden routh and wine routh with it.The only disadvantage was that we had to bring the car back to capetown cause they dont have a company in the garden routh.Thanks a lot!!!!!!May Karin and Rachel from Israel:-)
