Booked though Sixt, but rental handled by First, and you really feel the difference! Car was good. BUT BE CAREFUL!1. They will charge you with fuel even when you give back the car full (ALWAYS KEEP THE RECEIPT of your last refuelling!)2. They will charge you with E-Toll fee without warning you first, or giving you the opportunity to waive it. E-Toll is a joke, you can always pay by cash at the toll, and you will avoid the R30 fee each time you use the device!3. They will literally withdraw the amount of the deposit (R5500) from your bank account when all other rental companies will just block the amount on your account in case. So enjoy the bank currency exchange fees!!!10 days after complaining officially to First, and having to call them back, the case is being processed, but still not solved.First is definitely not up to the Sixt standards worldwide.

Even though we had sufficient funds in our credit card, the card was declined to pay the deposit. When we wanted to cancel the rental we were told that we already paid for the rent and that the money could not be refunded. Also, the people at the office could not give us any alternative possibilities to get the car.
Very bad service and unprofessional. Long waiting hours in order to get your car. And tricky contracts which are not properly explained to the customer when signing at the picking office, we booked a full coverage insurance. At this office we were asked to sign non full coverage without notice or proper explanation, we signed unaware of this thinking we had what we booked: full coverage. Unacceptable procedure
First car through Sixt will ripp you off!!!We booked vehicle group A through Sixt over the internet and got B. The lady in the office didn’t mentioned that to us and gave us the documents for signing.Maybe Sixt or First Car can check who worked on Nov. 4th at 11pm in the office at the airport.When we got the invoice we noticed the change and the additional costs we were not mentioned by the lady at pickup.Hopefully it was just a mistake... I’ll wait for an answer.
Terrible website allows a transaction to go through even when they dont have a return address in that city. Immediately asked to be refunded and they refused. Their FB page is full of complaints of how they have scammed other users. Worst customer service!
Not up to standards of Sixt globally! Sixt really needs to reconsider their partnership in South Africa. I wouldn’t rent from them again. Sixt is considered as a good choice of luxury car rental compared to Avis, Hertz etc but here they had nothing but standard cars! SIXT...not good in SA if looking to hire a luxury vehicle.
Very cheap through Euroe Renatls, almost no extra for empty tank.
Had to wait 45 mins to get a pre-booked car and they charged me twice
I had issues using my credit card (works everywhere else) so I needed to make a new booking on the spot. Luckily it worked out

Hello everybody,we rented a Mercedes C class from this station for 7 days. The vehicle was good so far, however, as mentioned in the other recessions, there are many negative things:- E-toll is calculated (no explanation)- Fuel is calculated even though we have refueled the car- Deposit will be deducted from the card !!! We had to pay an international fee of over 22 euros, even though we asked extra. The unfriendly employees answer was that she is only blocked. So we were lied to.PS: as a Sixt Platinum member there are no advantages!better next time to the competition
Very easy car rental. The service was good, the location in the middle of the city, so rush hour times should be planned. The car was picked up quickly, the return was a matter of 5 minutes. No complaints, deposit back without problems. Gladly again!
