Quick story. I booked 3 cobras for myself and 2 of my cousins a weeks in advance and on the day I was running late and eventually had to cancel at the last second due to family issues. Renee turned away 10 different clients to hold onto the cars for me. The very next day I called in the afternoon and Renee managed to give me a booking. Here I was running late once again and the second I got there my car was ready and I was ready to go in less than 5 minutes. Customer service at its absolute finest. Staff ready to help after hours even though curfew was really really close. Massive thank you to Renee, Ross and Lance. Truly had the best day of my life driving along the coast and up Chapman’s peak. An absolute must for anyone in Cape Town. Price absolutely blows the competition out of the water. Cannot say thank you enough

What an experience... definitely a bucket list event! Ross and René were friendly, warm and welcoming! Fantastic customer service. And then there were the cars... OMW 😱 Well maintained dream machines... we had the privilege of having this car all to ourselves, driving around the Peninsula for 5 hours. The Cobra drives like a go-cart on steroids! Thoroughly enjoyable, a must do when you are in CPT!

So we hired a cobra from Ross hands on owner and very knowledgeable about the cobra. Its was a birthday surprise for my father Inlaws 64 birthday... Yes there were tears and the old man was a kid again. We strongly recommend Ross and his team for there professional service. His vehicle was top notch and great to drive they were exceptionally great

Driving seat was not adjustable so I had to use a huge pillow just to be able to drive, car was without a power steering so it was a pain every time I parked it. And at the end they asked me to pay for some suspension damage which I never did. Worst car hire experience ever.

Can’t say enough good things about my 1-day hire. Excellent coastal drive and even better service. My car has a flat and the guys arranged for a replacement tyre to be sent to my location. They could have charged me anything they liked but they did it free of charge. Now this is how you run a business. Well done Cape Cobra Hire Team.

Car is just for photo. Break and turn signals didn’t work. It’s scary in these cars at 80kmh, but I’m not sure it can run faster?

Poor Service!!! You can neither rely on information provided or agreements nor get an excuse if something is going wrong.Car condition is not on the level the price pretends. Engine start problems, hardly movable automatic gear shift lever, inaccurate fuel gauge, ...Pros might already have recognized: it’s just replicas.There are many better options in the Cape areas to spend 3000 Rand plus fuel a day.

This was, hands down, the most exquisite part of my 3 months in South Africa despite having so many incredible adventures. Ross and the team have curated an amazing fleet with styles and colors to fit everyones dream. They are warm, compassionate, and have a zest for what they do, which is palpable. The feeling of having a thrusty black cobra with burgundy interior past the vineyards of Stellenbosch, visiting quaint cafes and vintage car museums amidst the hills of Franschhoek Pass, and finishing up long the winding Cape roads through Chapmans Peak at sunset was something Ill take with me forever. If you have a love for exotic cars and are anywhere near Cape Town, this is an absolute must!

It was a great experience, but the hold on our credit card took more than a week to be released, and there are hidden costs. We also receive the car without any fuel.

Bad customer service. Cars are not maintained properly. Been getting unwarranted fines and harassed by the company.Use another Cobra hire company if you’re going to do it.

Nothing like hiring a Cobra or a drive out to the Cape Winelands... great service.

Horrible experience. We pre-booked months in advance and on arrival the staff has “forgotten” about our booking, locked up and left. We waited 30min for someone to arrive and he had to still put fuel in the car. Once on our way the car could not go faster than 60km/h before starting to jerk non-stop. The car died twice, the last time was towards the end of the hire and mechanics had to come out the help us. Even though they extended our time with 2hours, we still had to pay full price. Not a pleasant experience :(

Excellent rental! We offered an ideal route for 4 hours exactly 70 km, we managed to do everything, it makes no sense to take for the whole day.

If you are looking for much fun! Has about 30 cobras. Is also affordable!
