I am left with amazement at the great service from Larene. I was there last year to buy a pair of walking shoes to walk far distances with.. The guy who helped me said I can walk in the shoes he prescribed for me. To my disappointment I did not even have the shoes for a year after I walked them through. He sold me leisure shoes instead of descend exercising walking shoes.I went back earlier this week and spoke to the manager Larene. She gladly showed me a better walking shoe which I can run in and hike in. The shoe is a K -way brand, I am highly impressed by this shoe as it is also orthropedic....which means it is good for my health and posture. She was friendly, helpful and caring. Thank you Larene.I am overall a great fan of Cape Union Mart. I love the ladies fashion, because of the high quality,simplicity, and futuristic style.I love the great out doors, camping, mountaineering and everything else that goes with it. The products in Cape Union Mart has a high standard and appeals to my adventurous life style.Well done on a brilliant concept and wonderful service.With allot of love.Helena.

Would give no stars if I could, the worst customer service ever. False advertising of prices online and refuse to honour advertised price then try and hide behind human error. BS !!! Trying to screw the customer as normal.

A good and convenient store to stock premium outdoor gear or trendy fashion.Anything from casual clothing to hiking gear, lighting, tents, sleeping bag - basically, its that place you must visit before embarking on an adventure.Staff is not the friendliest or the most helpful - thus the 4 star rating. You need to know what it is you want before hitting the store. Do your own research.

Bought Crocs sandals there...a very good buy...staff very informative, lady been working there for decades....

Bought a camping tent here because the item was out of stock at the other branches. The mall was a bit out of the way but easy to navigate. It was also worth the trip because the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is also free parking for the first hour.

Some goods quite expensive, but good quality, so definitely worth it. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Friendly and helpful assistants. Not as big as some of the other Cape Union Marts Ive been to, but well stocked in all departments.

Helpful staff and fair range of outdoor goods. not quote as large as at canal walk, hut definitely adequate.let down by their franchise - opened an account and was subscribed to a monthly club with a fee - all without explaining this to us. apparently the monthly fee was somewhere in the reams of paperwork, in the small print.

Your given telephone number here on your website as well as on your tax invoice slip is WRONG! Have had to contend with private individuals answering specifically stating they get numerous if not daily calls for Bay Side Cape Union Mart! PLEASE do something about it. It is annoying!
