The Daily franchise is known for their good quality food and the Langverwacht branch definitely meets expectations.  Their menu has something for everyone including a large selection of warm drinks (coffee various) ensuring you can always find something new and exciting to try. The food was tasty and beautifully presented, and the waitress was very friendly and welcoming. They have inside and outside seating areas, as well as couches where you can relax. They are quite popular, but usually have enough tables and are also practicing all Covid-19 regulations. We really enjoyed it and I enjoyed their coffee so much I ended up taking one home as well. Worth a try for a group of friends/family and even business meetings.

I had such a great experience at The Daily in Pretoria which made me choose this restaurant for a quick coffee. Walked in just after 16:00. Few people were still sitting at tables. Waitress told me that kitchen is closed for food orders, which I was happy with since I was plannning on ordering a coffee only. It took her about 10 minutes to return to me and when I wanted to order a coffee, I was told that her supervisor has said that they were not taking any orders anymore, not even coffee. They kept the doors open (whilst they were standing around) until 17:00 but turned all patrons away. SHOCKING! YOULL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN. HAD TO GIVE ONE STAR FOR THE APP BUT THEY ARE NOT DESERVING OF ANY STARS

Always have a Great time here, nice Vibe, very friendly staff and management... Willing to make compromises to keep customers happy. All staff including Cooks are asked for their input and suggestions towards making the customers experience a pleasant one.

We hosted and event at The Daily Coffee Cafe in Kuils River this past Friday (25 June) and I must say that we had an amazing time. Nice cafe located in a small shopping mall. There are many breakfast options, including potato waffle. Service was good and coffee great. I can recommend the eggs Benedict with bacon and hollandaise sauce.

Nestled in the corner of the centre you will find ‘the Daily’ the Interior decor is well thought and you know that you are in a coffee shop cafė.On arrival we were offered to sit at any available table. Our initial impression was the waiter that took our drinks order was our waiter. Then another gent approached us saying that he will be looking after us at this table. The vibrant service, enthusiasm and energetic personality of this waiter was not over the top but gave us the feeling of being a customer not a table.Our drinks arrived and there was a somewhat chewy but crunchy yummy little cookie with our drinks. -featured on the menu is the drink selection with some cool info.Graphics so you can see what you are getting and how the daily perceive a particular beverage to be.Our breakfast was excellent too. We were advised of the special that included coffee another waiter added that we could change the bangers for boerewors if we preferred. The coffee was included however we could upgrade the coffee and pay the difference.There was certainly a good vibe of people having a great time in a relaxed atmosphere without being pushed so that the table can be turned for the next sitting.Yes I would love to come back here when I am in the area and possibly try another meal.The general impression was that the staff could not do enough but at the same time they were not intrusive to you enjoying your stay.[to the staff and management -keep it up]

Bad experience. When we walked in at 14h30 before we were seated, they informed us that we cannot order food for the kitchen closes at 15h00. We had a meeting there, from 15h00 they started cleaning around our table, staring at us as if they wanted us to leave, it was so disturbing that we left. We had two bad experiences in 2 weeks.

Japie & Dennis Schroeder brought into life 4 daughters and 6 sons, lost one Abe at age in 62 on 12 November 2018. Here we are the remaining 5 brothers. As a key COVID 19 realisation that life is shorter then what we realise, especially after we lost our brother in law Pat Job, married to sister Muriel. We decided to have a scheduled monthly catch-up lunch. Our come together @thedailycoffee Kuilsriver was really special as we rekindled childhood memories and strengthened our bond! The very friendly staff (Ask for Calvin, hes a real asset to TDCC!), combined with the new menu, adds to the charm of the place. Try the Red Karoo tea option - yum! Portions are generous. The only thing I miss is the Bobotie Spring Rolls option on the menu, but that the price of progress - and progressed it has!

The food was really great and there was a variety of options for coffees. I had breakfast with a friend and the vibe was so nice that we stayed until lunch-time. The only thing is that the food is a bit more pricey than your average coffee shop, but it was worth the cost.Edit: I’ve been back many times. To watch the rugby world cup. Random breakfasts. I considered them as an intimate wedding venue. They also host expression sessions for music and poetry. Even though the place gets so packed for these sessions it is still comfortable and enjoyable

Simple coffee shop with a few extras: I bought some great Karoo lamb, and a unique leather tie, and a cup of coffee (with a really tasty home-made quiche).

A good looking place with friendly staff. Slow but friendly service. Food took very long to arrive. The smoked salmon bagel was very plain with very little salmon and cream cheese. The bagel was not a proper bagel, it was a bagel shaped bun. The fries were well made.

I always enjoy having coffee but the daily is situated in the checkers centre and has a lovely outside area where you can sit. Children can play on the water feature of turtles while you enjoy a lovely cup of coffee and Im picky about my carrot cake theirs is moist and delicious. Absolutely worth going to

This little gem of a restaurant in the middle of a little suburban centre is the find of the month!!The staff are friendly and engaging, the menu really is from New York to the Karoo...My food was presented well. It tasted fantastic!! The coffee was a perfect brew and the biscuits served with the coffee was sweet, fresh and warmly served. The service and the servings compelled me to order dessert! 🙌Their cakes for dessert were fresh, they were decadent, and such a generous portion I had to take half home.Money WELL spent!!Definitely a place which can easily become my regular coffee shop... and MOST probably will be 😁..happily...

We keep coming back here because the service is good, the ambience is great and the food is always tasty! The Daily offers some interesting light meals for lunch which you wont find everywhere as well. Well worth a visit!

We host our monthly event, Expression Session, here and they go out of their way to accommodate our requests. Its also proved to be an awesome music (and other) event venue and the food, cakes and coffee is amazing! My mom, who is a bit of a scone freak and traveled UK trying diff scones!) swears The Dailysscones is the best shes ever had! Their Sunday carver is also a huge hit with our family:-)

Very cozy place to meet a friend or two for coffee. Nice meal options too, but I think the price is too high for the portion sizes they offer. The beverages are not too pricey, though. And there are fun beverage options to choose from!

Always like my visits there the food is really of the best quality and standards. They opened a new Cafe at willowbridge with a slightly different menu, but still high quality food. Loved the decor... This place is very popular for groups or people just to meetup and catch up over a nice cup of your favourity perfectly prepare coffee... We make a point of going atleast once a month... Loving it :-) keep up the high quality and standards guys...
