Driving through Hout Bay when we spotted Darios’s place and made a uturn for breakfast! Best decision we made that day. Breakfast was amazing and the service was absolutely 5 star! Cappuccinos were served in these beautiful little mugs and I asked if there were on sale and Dario gave us 2 mugs absolutely free! Thank you again Dario for your kindness! 🙏🏾

We were doing a follow our noses Sunday drive and decide to stop in Houtbay for lunch but not the normal Fish and chips stop.We drove past Darios and decided to give it a try...first visit ever and it will not be the last. We were greeted by Sadie that pointed out the specials and recommendations. Long story short... excellent coffee, the pizza was tops, the chicken burger will become a favourite ( the cheese sauce is not recommended) and the Amatriciana took the honours.Our waitron, Malvin, was excellent and the overall experience and value for money will make this a regular Houtbay stop for us. Good bye fish and chips!

We have been coming to Darios for quite some time and the food is always soooo good! The new premises offers a very pleasant atmosphere with lovely seating under the shade of the massive itchy ball tree. Definitely try the delicious breakfast options with a cup of italian coffee.

We went as a medium size after - hike group that did a hike in Houtbay. The service was decent and the food presentation underwhelming. The overall dining experience was fair to say the least. I will try to go again and I hope the next time will be a spectacular experience.

The food is incredible and cant fault it so if you are craving Thai then this is your place.The feel and decor of the place leave a lot to be desired though, but I can see at the moment it is mostly a takeaway place.Friendly staff and good service.

Its a nice little restaurant on the main road. Toobad they added MSG (monosodium glutamate) to enhance the flavor. Im allergic to it; thats how I know.I would return, but Id specifically ask them not to put MSG in my food.Service was good.

Great pizza! Perfect cheese to base ratio, and really really good chilli on the side. Relaxing vibe in the heart of Hout bay, close enough to walk to the beach after as well. Very very good value for money. The staff are really friendly as well. Will definitely go back for their pizza. Not a huge selection, but its definitely good enough.

Lovely place. Dario is a very friendly guy, food and service are both excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Pop along watch the world go by, have a coffee or 2, some food and a chat. You wont be disappointed... he is also good at a photo bomb :)

Coffee was fantastic so was the milkshake and the pizza. . Location is awesome if you get a seat outside you can watch the passers by. . Staff were super friendly and efficient and pricing was reasonable. . Good place for a quick coffee or a meal. .menu is diverse and offers a little something for everyone . . What sets it apart is the owner Dario is actively involved, he will introduce himself and will help with the serving of patrons.The place has a nice casual almost homely feel. The food is good and the staff are all incredibly helpful.Definitely a place worth visiting.
