This Spar is always clean and neat. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I can never fault their cooked meals...always fresh and warm enough to eat when I get home, without having to reheat it. I live 10 minutes drive away from this Spar.

Nice shopping experience. Clean well stocked shop. Sunday meal is well worth it at only R75. We will return.

Went there for a bite to eat. Checked out their sandwiches. Found a lovely Chicken & Mayo with lettuce. Reasonably priced. Actually the best priced Spar in the Western Cape & I do a lot of riding around & havent found another venue for an inexpensive sandwich. Great & friendly service.

Absolutely love this Spar!! From poptarts to a variety of KitKat bars!! What more could one ask for. Yummy snacks, hot foods, the biltong station... need I say more. I am fond of this store.

When I leave SPAR Plattekloof I always feel better than when I entered. The staff are super friendly, the shelves well stocked and the till line moves just below the speed of light. There is always something new happening....

Lovely experience, grilled BBQ Chicken delish tasty and moist. Their Breads are lovely, even if you dont want bread but once youve touched it and felt its difficult to decide which to buy. Trust me you will end up buying a bread.

I bought the rasberry cheesecake on Saturday . The cheesecake was great but the bottom crust was like aunmelted sugary base. Not nice at all. We had to chuck it i the bin.

Well situated Spar in Plattekloof area.Very large, almost bordering a Super Spar.The staff is very friendly and helpful and always greets you as you enter the spar. Layout of the Spar is amazing with lots of moving space, but not giving up product space with their wide variety in products.Congrats to the manager and his staff on sustain and keeping the Spar up to perfect standards

I just moved into the area. And as one does when the cupboards are bare, one pops down to the local store to get what you need.Two yards past the doors, I already knew I would like this Spar. By Cape Town standards this must certainly rate as a top top notch branch.Everything was neat, clean, fresh and clearly marked. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional.I can see myself shopping here many, many, many more times. Well done on running a flagship store.

Awesome variety and fresh food..especially the home cooked meals...I’m not always sure why their pricing would be higher than other Supermarket brands,but good selection and could pretty much always find what you are looking for. There is also a small coffee shop inside at the back of the store. Open until 8pm, so it helps if you need something urgently

I love going to this store, especially because of the location. They have a great selection of fruits and vegetables.

A great Spar with very good strong covid protocols. 1 entrance for entry and 1 exit point so foot traffic is limited and social distancing is easier. Food is great and fresh and a lovely selection especially for those with a sweet tooth.

Stunning shop and excellent product selection for its size. I used it often during lockdown since the aisles are wide and I felt safeJust a pity that they only open at 8h00. It would be great if it was 7h30, so people can pop in there after school drop off and before work

Found everything we were looking for.

No sim cards to be found. But I got air time at spar, unfortunately they did not have data.

Well stocked and well laid out shop that other Spar stores could learn from.I find the checkout space at the tills is very limited, but that seems to be a general Spar trend that could be improved on.

Very good Spar! Just when asking about the Spring Rolls they told me it was like an actual Spring Roll - it is just a Samosa made to look like a Spring Roll, I could have just purchased Samosas as they all tasted the same. The jelly and custard is perfection though :)

Absolutely love going here when visiting Cape Town. Its not everyday you can even find chalk paint and cupboard handles in a Spar. Good quality food and everything looks and is so fresh. Definitely always on my list when in Cape Town.

Whats not to love about Plattekloof Spar ☺️ The store is beautiful and clean. They carry a line of products for vegans, banting,diabetics etc and the staff are friendly and helpful.

More than just a supermarket!

This is my favourite Spar which is closest to my home. I once bought two bowls of asian noodle salad and it was off which was not pleasant. However, their fresh bread selection at the bakery is amazing. They have a huge variety of stock. I love the international brands and items which they have and it is not overpriced. They also have great specials. The lamb chops from their butchery is top notch!

The cashiers makes that branch most pleasant visiting that store. They would make you feel that at that moment you are important to them and the store. Just dont approach the manager and smile at them, they dont smile, ever. So make the cake stop as quick as possible, they sit just there at that little office. But the rest of the staff is amazing. Would go there again and again.
