Its always a pleasure to shop at Spar.Abide to all Covid Regulations.Wear a face mask is compulsory,sanitize your hands upon entering & only certain amount of people should be present at a time.Bought my usual groceries ie bread,cereals,fruit,coffee & milk.The isles are organized in such a manner,that anyone can find what youre looking for.I love this place

This is our favourite branch, tasty halal foods, delicious offerings from the bakery and plenty of specials.

Cashiers very slow. Not safe with the street parking guys.My first visit and last.

What can I say.. I love this store, its always clean an they always have fresh produce and food items. The bakery has a large selection to pick from. The staff are friendly and they always have specials in store.. Only negative is that once you walk in you cant but want to spend and spend..

Generally a good store with a good range of products. Bakery is a bit expensive for VERY average products. Especially if compared to Spar in Rosemead ave. Also on a Friday the store closes which I find to be unnecessary for such a large franchise but I suppose it has to be done. The pecan nut tart that cost almost R70 was pathetic as per the picture. The stuff between the nuts is flavorless but overall just generally poor. I will have to go the extra distance to food lovers for their pecan nut treat

Awesome store to shop

Service is atrocious at the counter in front where they sell the samoosas and coffee. Myself and my dad (72 years old) was standing first in line to be served but the customer behind us gets helped first. What kind of service is that? Pathetic! especially because an elderly person was not helped. He was the customer and not me.

Finally, a place to buy fresh baked goods in Grassy Park, especially rye bread!

Very Nice store. Very clean, quick and convenient service whenever i do shop there. But some of the cashiers need to be taught that not EVERYTHING fits into one plastic bag.

The fresh produce specials are of the worst grade.Mielies at a song was utterly tasteless. ..... Even quality of the cucumbers are dry and terrible.Its very wrong to deceive the public who particularly look out for specials inth these very trying times with wasting their hard earned money that could be otherwise better spent.

Nice and quiet place

Bought some chocolate lamingtons at this store on Thursday on Friday when I open it it was mouldy you could see the mould clearly took it back to the store the manger took with no apology he just say are you going to take a new pack or do you want a refund but not evens a sorry.Poor service from management!!

Very nice store but cashiers (yes plural) sporting masks under their chins is a deal breaker during such a trying time.

Absolutely, love shopping here. Its super convenient and they supply everything. However, staff in the bakery should be more attentive.

This Spar is the best Ive been to. Better than Pick n Pay, Checkers, Woolies. The shop is neat, tidy and clean and the price of the food and bakery items are really worth it. Keep it up especially with the new Pick n Pay opening soon right opposite you.

Spar Grassy Park , located on corner of Victoria Road and 4th Avenue opening soon .Custom built building with due consideration for ample parking provided.Wheelchair friendly ♿ .Definitely a plus for the neighbourhood to have a Spar to start shopping at shortly.Opening tomorrow 21 November 2019.Certainly a modern , state of the art fixtures with in house bakery , deli , etc

Neat and reasonably priced

Spar has been my first choice for last 3 shopping opportunities. I get everything i need at a reasonable amount. No bad experiences and no issues with parking.

Small shop. Doesnt stock as much as other stores. Parking and traffic around the store is a bit of a nightmare. Queues move fairly fast so the wait isnt that long at least.

Has parking, nice friendly staff. Nice experience. Always clean.Great Layout.

Visited your store a few times and yesterday was the day that was the kicker. Ive had the till staff discussing the goods Im buying to to staff telling me there is no more stock and when I turned the corner a full shelf of the item Im looking for. Let me tell you about yesterday. Did my shopping. Made my way to the tills. Took the corner and the lady at the first till was leaning over the counter chatting to the ladies at the cigarette counter. When she noticed me she jumped up and grabbed a plastic bag to make as if as he was busy. So I just want pass her to the next till where the lady was very eager to help me. Only she had a second lady hanging on her till nagging about how she didnt feel like working. I was fine with all that. What shocked me was as i was about to leave two ladies came out from the back room with the till draws and the floats and put it down at the till next to me then turned her back on the draw and money. I could have walked out with the money and would have been in my car before she knew it. You need to up your game. Regards

Brand new store. Well designed and spacious offering not only your normal groceries but has an in-house bakery, coffee shop and other.

Convenient close to home. I prefer the Rosemead branch better variety

Store looks great, love the fact that you can purchase pies, samosas, coffee etc at the entrance of the store, easy to grab a quick meal on the run😉 The cakes looks delicious and freshline products are beautifully displayed. I cannot wait to taste their chicken akni, would make an awesome ready made Sunday lunch😋

Best Cheese Samoosas this side of Durbs :) Also just love the convenience, cleanliness and wide variety of foods and most of all the hours with a dose of top Notch service in our community....great job guys keep aiming for excellence!!!! Mediocrity has no room in the service industry!

Haphazard pricing! Quite often products do not have a price on the shelf or the incorrect price. I took a block of cheese which said R67 on the shelf but ended up paying R124 at the till.
