My interactions with the Branch Manager was fantastic. Like my nephew would say he was Super Cool
BAD EXPERIENCE!My sister needed to use the bathroom urgently, public toilets were closed at the time so we asked the security - security then went to the manager and we followed, he asked for her to use the restroom, urgently - the manager looked at us and walked passed us ignoring the request, she said a few words to the security and he came back saying that we should find somewhere else to use the restroom - understanding its covid but this was urgent and the fact we were walked passed and ignored is unacceptable!
I would like to thank Mr Davids, manager at Shoprite Lansdowne Corner, for his excellent service. When the shop did not have the item that I needed, he not only located the item at another store, he also went to collect it for me & had it at his own store within 30 minutes. Then he had 2 shop assistants carry the items to the cashpoint for me.It is refreshing to find this excellent service right on my doorstep.Thank you very much, Mr Davids. You have been a blessing to me.I pray that GOD bless you an keep you and make HIS light to shine upon you all your days and give you peace.May whatever you put your hands to be prosperous and successful to the glory of GOD.
Store can do with a bit of a deep clean, pleasure to be in the medicinal section, food section requires neatening up and some space created by moving those big specials bins obstructing flow of store
Today I bort toilet paper. I decided on purchasing a bale, the price indicated as R36. 99,for the bale. At the till I was charged R212.When I questioned the price, the cash said its R29 97 for 8 toilet rolls. Each row in the bale had 8 toilet rolls. The other person, thinking its the supervisor, fetched the price tag. The price tag said R36. 99 for 9 toilet rolls. So wot you see, is not wot you pay.I was told the racks was Full, so they just packed the bale at the price tag of R36. 99Shoprite Lansdowne you r a disaapooinment.
Parking near the door is always a issue
One of the better Shoprites in the southern suburbs. They have a small clothing area as well. Long aisle dedicated to only boys and girls toys.
Because it is close to where I live and most necessities such as bread has healthy varieties, same with the milk, breakfast cereals and snacks and are cheaper than the same brands elsewhere l shop here.Close convenience, healthy products and affordability makes me shop here.
Most times, I am not left standing to find whatever it is that Im searching for, when Ive asked for help, the person will take me to the aisle and show me exactly where the item is, and I appreciate that very much,it shows that they value their customers , they have knowledge of the product and also go the extra mile. They are service heroes.
Loved the big store, with the huge variety of goods sold but noticed a lot of shoplifters and security either not aware or not doing their job accordingly.
Quiet on most days. Can get extremely busy Friday afternoons when wages are paid, and on the 1st of the month when SASSA grants get drawn. Even with a full store only 2 or 3 tellers are ever open.
For basic needs shop-rite is good but as for quality products i would shop around
Quality of lean beef mince shocking.prepacks on cabinet was white in colour because of the high content of fat thats why I prefer shopping at spar
Very convenient for me to shop at shoprite i am in the area and also nice staff and always get low prices
I just arrived home and upon checking my till slip discovered that something that was advertised for R19.99 actually scanned R29.99. There is also an extra R11.99 for supposed onions I did not buy. Seriously now Shoprite, how in heavens name is this possible????????
Safe environment to shop in
I enjoy shopping at Shoprite Lansdowne. Staff very friendly.
Tends to not be as busy as other stores during eid or christmas times. Makes it a great place to pick up that last fresh cream 😏
Always have great specials
Good, other facilities required hope they expand in the next year.
Its basically Woolworths for poor people. Love it.
If you not scared, go there
Service is quick. No hassel
Neat and clean with help full staff
Their customer service sucks. Accompanied by bad attitude
Nice place to shop after hours
The worse produce. Badly management. Cashers are always to busy having a social with the packers to actually hear what else you need and to not pack raw chicken and milk together.
Service was not gud at all.....one cashier on the money market till on month end....... come on
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Found what I needed and I wasnt sure if I would find the item there
You can get everything from groceries to clothing to hardware to take aways
The enviroment could be cleaned more frequently.

Waiting time for tills and narrow aisles
