I have been utilizing the services of this hardware from as early as 2008 and I have seen this company grow from strength to strength from Lansdowne to a lot of branches they have now, they stock quality products at the most competitive prices, Nazeem Raciet is a very experienced and capable man in the sales team and he is highly trained and knowledgeable about hardware materials and I highly recommend anyone to buy at Global Hardware in Ottery the branch is next to Makro along old Strandfontein Rd in Cape Town.

Always friendly staff. One guy who processes the orders, never smiles, always looks irritated and unwilling to assist. The rest of the staff...every single one is AMAZING!!!!!!!!The parking attendant and ladies by the tills and the uncle who checks the receipts stands out for me, theyre amazing. Firstly the branch didnt have stock of the item I wanted. Even though the system showed 4 in stock. I had to drive all the way to Grassy Park to collect. Then the item I bought a 1.5m sliding door didnt have a lock with it for external locking. How does a aluminum door get sold without a lock set?

Great service and the loyalty card is a great service

I called Monday for a quote and was advised theyd call me back. I called them again lines were off. I called them on Tuesday and they said theyd call me back. Called back today and they didnt start with it and will call me shortly. Extremely pathetic customer service. Not waiting for their call back will go to another hardware store. Will rather pay for more efficient customer service.

For any roofing material, this is yr best place to go to. Zincalume @ R99/m, thats a steal. What wouldve costed me R13,500? Paid off, all material inclusive plastic and a 1,8m aluminium sliding door ended a cost saving of R5k

Being a Friday I had to wait until they open after lunch. Service was very good and very accommodating. They have me a nice discount. Even their delivery f fee Id very reasonable!I would recommend then. When they didnt have the product they phones around to help me. Hassiem went out of his way to make sure I had everything.They accept card payments but not RCS but can accommodate you once again of you prefer that method of payment.Ill definitely stick erg them until Im finish building! :-)Percy Martin

We checked for the prices only

When the sale was made all went well, we even made an amendment to our invoice we paid, the problem was with the delivery and how the communication was lacking.. we had to make arrangements to have someone home to receive goods for two days and this after we chased up on when delivery will happen for the past 2 days. This morning delivery happened and no one had the decency to let us know that the driver was on his way, luckily my neighbour assisted by keeping our goods at her house. My problem is this, how do you have the audacity to leave broken bricks on top of the non broken ones, your driver and his men probably threw them on top of the solid ones!!!!! The decent thing to do is replace these broken bricks with solid ones, after all this was paid in cash!Awaiting your response as soonest!!

Terrible . Returned goods in exchange for other goods at higher value yet they charged an alarming fee of 15% in return. Appauling . And it not even legal. How much extra monies are they making . Really disappointing after years of support thousands of Rands later.
